The food is amazing as well as the coffee. The last two times I've been in, literally back to back, They weren't selling food items. I go in at 1:15pm to get a sandwich and they were already shutting down and cleaning the food station as well as the coffee machines. It says on their website they close at 2pm. I understand walking in at 1:55pm and asking for food that's crazy but still having 45 mins open and you're already closing? Then today, I walk in at 7:30am and they're still not doing food because there was only one employee. Some people work at 8 and want a great breakfast. Their online ordering was also turned off. This place is so amazing and I'm sad to write a review on a place that I like very much.

Our waitress was friendly, took our order and brought our orange juices quickly. I ordered the Western omelette w/hash browns (potato chunks) & toast and my husband opted for the breakfast burrito and coconut cream pie for desert. My husband seemed to have enjoyed his breakfast more than I mine although he didn't like the pie. My toast was buttery and there was no jelly in sight or our waitress to ask. Also, no salt & pepper or condiments on any of the tables like other restaurants. Perhaps because it's a senior citizen complex they aren't allowed to spice things up. Guessing here, perhaps government subsidized (501C3) so they are able to offer price reduced meals. The place was clean, quiet, ample seating and a nice menu selection. However, it's just not my thing to dine in at a "nursing home environment". I'm happy to see Main Street Cafe is available for those who are wanting cheap meals.
