They seem to still be training their people. I put in a mobile order because I live 15 minutes out. When I got there, there was 15 minutes wait in the line. 10 minutes waiting to get to the window. The food wasn't ready when we got to the window. They asked us to pull up, and said the order would be right out. 15 minutes to get some bags - but they left out half the order. They left out the family chili. 30 minutes of me waiting and tapping at the side window for them to get us our chili. Beautiful new building. Waiting and hoping for them to grow competent staff. I never had issues with this location before the rebuild. Their service was ALWAYS on point. Management Tips: Moving cars up - doesn't help. Work the order that's in front of you. Have staff run out food to cars behind them if you need to keep things moving - but if you move cars out of sight - you lose track of unfulfilled orders. Encourage your team members to problem solve and work the problem/order until it's done. Teach your team to follow thru. People stop being willing to pull up when you forget their order. The biggie bag is tasty, filling, and still dirt cheap. My food was hot and fresh. The burger bun is my least liked part. It is doughy and low quality. That's gonna be a big NO, for me, my family, and as far as ever recommending this Wendy's location. I expect things to not be in stock or for machines to be down, that's fair...understandable. I don't expect bafoonery, attitude, & laziness...especially if I'm treating my family to a snack. Today we chose Wendy's, we could tell they weren't packed with people inside and the drive thru wasn't busy. We're in drive thru, and plan on making two separate orders. Done this before, both at this location and pretty much every where. We start to order and of course certain things they've ran out of, no biggie...slight attitude from person taking our order, but okay again no biggie. People have bad days, this could've been his. Then we ask to start a second order. Immediately "no we can't do that.. you can come in and start another order inside". Please tell me how that makes any sense.... He gives no explanation as to why that is. I'm trying to ask but I'm being ignored or maybe he "can't hear me" okay I can understand because maybe it's loud or he really couldn't hear me. No biggie. We get to the window and pay, no greeting, no confirming our order, nothing just stares and silence. They hand back my card, without my receipt . I'm thinking maybe this girl is shy or new...okay no biggie, weird and unwelcoming vibes....but okay. They hand us part of our order and I noticed we were missing some things. We let her know and she even doesn't acknowledge us... not even a fake apology or something. After that, I requested my receipt. She closes the window and goes to find the rest of our order. Now the man who took our order, whom I could tell it was him by his voice, is staring at us as the girls back is to us against the window. Full on staring us down...okay getting weirder. So I look back . now I'm thinking we can't ever do separate orders via drive thru again. It ends up being another round of me letting her know that we were still short a few items of our order. He hands us the other half of our order (instead of the girl) and I noticed his uniform is different thinking okay he'd be the guy to ask. I ask him if they did away with those types of orders and he tells me that "she's busy and can't take another order" So I respond again " oh that's weird...so are you guys going to do away with taking multiple orders for drive thru ? " He just repeats himself, no empathy or real clarification as to WHY. What difference does it make if we were making a total of two separate orders while in our one vehicle than if say my brother was in a separate vehicle driving behind us and making his order? Or what if we went to drive thru twice? Keep in mind he refused to take a second order from us. Let me rephrase that, he WOULD NOT allow us to make a second order via drive thru..... Is that not still the same amount of orders ? Wouldn't you be the same amount of "busy"? And lastly who are YOU to request that we literally get out of our car WHILE IN DRIVE THRU MIND YOU, to walk through the drive thru now all the way to the business??? That is bafoonery.... read more

Ok so let's begin by saying that when it comes to a burger/fast food franchise I would pick Wendy's over McDonald's any day. food is usually good and hot. They get the orders correct more often than not and the staff is friendly. I wish they would bring back the ghost pepper fries but the Baconator fries are good too. The spicy chicken club sandwiches are always really good. I like their "natural cut" fries. The handcrafted strawberry lemonade and regular lemonade are always good. Now with that out of the way, I will say this Wendy's was once a nice clean FAST FOOD restaurant to dine in. Now, the tables are wobbly, it's hot and muggy because the AC isn't working or doesn't work well. There were tiles missing from the walls. The carpet is dingy & the parking lot needs to be cleaned. The owner either doesn't care about the appearance of the store or hasn't been by to visit in a while. There will be a few more fast food choices to choose from in Big Spring soon so Wendy's better step it up. read more

Worst accuracy rate in Big Spring! Always be sure to check everything! My drink is usually wrong, and this time my drink, burger preference, and an entire burger were wrong (I was given a chicken sandwich instead). On top of that the fries weren't salted. There is 99% always something incorrect when I order here. People are friendly and will correct it. Just make sure you check before you leave. read more

Normally this Wendy's has been fantastic for me. Unfortunately the last 3 times I've visited my burger has been served cold. Not frigid, but the burger felt like it had been sitting out and lost it's heat. Room temperature. It's disappointing because Wendy's is normally a good food chain. Online it reports that they are open until 12:00 midnight but every time I have gone through the drive thru - the lights are off, they are out of menu items or the system is down, and the employees have already stopped working or are sitting outside by 11:00 p.m. & even earlier. My Dad wanted a hamburger and since he rarely gets out now that he is elderly my sisters and I jumped at the chance to treat him at Wendy's. I didn' have a good feeling about this place as soon as we walked in the door. The air smelled of dirty grease and the line was long. The tables were dirty and the floors strewn with wrappers and crumbs. I was the first of our group to order. I ordered a homestyle chicken sandwich, garden salad with ranch dressing, and bottled water. The lady who took my order told me they didn't have ranch dressing and offered me some other less common dressings that I was unsure of. She asked another staff member if they had ranch dressing and this lady, whom I later found out was the manager, went to get ranch dressing and the salad from the back. It could have been the trash can for all I know because the layout of the front does not allow you to see what is going on back in the kitchen. So I went to the table with my order and proceeded to wait until rest of family got theirs. I sat at a dirty dining table that I wiped off with a dry napkin and proceeded to fan flies away from my unopened food. I finally proceeded to eat my salad. I was wary of it from the start and was cautiously eating the cucumber and cherry tomatoes on top. I then started to pull pieces of brown lettuce and set them aside. While doing this, I saw a bug crawling out from underneath one of the lettuce leaves! I spit the tomato I had in my mouth into a napkin and showed the bug to my nephew. We both grimaced. I took it right up to the counter and informed the staff. The manager tried to pay me off with apologies and coupons; I was incredulous and told her that I would not be eating there again. I saw her on the phone and it seems she had to get permission to refund my money after I refused the coupons! When we left, we noticed the trash cans were also filled to the brim with trash. The manager hersellf looked less than well groomed with unhemmed pants dragging the floor. This place needs to be reviewed by the health inspector. I am certain they will find all kinds of violations. I get sqeamish just thinking about what kind of filth and creatures could be lurking inside the ice machine, coffee maker, ketchup dispenser, you name it. And even though this is just one Wendy's location, I am wary of patronizing any other location after this experience. As for the Big Spring location, VISIT AT YOUR OWN RISK! By the way, they were also out of grilled chicken as I heard a couple of people order it, and they were told, they didnt have it. While this is not a health and safety issue, it is a sign of poor management. I gave it one star because that's the lowest rating option but this really deserves NO STAR and a visit from the health inspector! Our visit was on Sunday, June 8, 2014 at around noon. read more

WTF I go to Wendy's yesterday only to get home and find out it's wrong. (Big surprise NOT). Then I call to have it fixed. I was told to come back and they would take care of it. I go back today and they only give me the burgers. Ruined our lunch yesterday then half assed it today. My husband called and told them to make it all right. They told us to come back for the rest. We go back to pick it up and I'll be damn if they still shorted us some fry's. If I didn't know better they did it on purpose. The management there must love getting their ass chewed because they do very little to fix the situation at all. The Franchise owner of this location really needs to spend sometime at this place. But don't think they even care because one day I spent 45min in the drive-thur while I was there I called the 1-800# to let them know and asked for a call back and have yet to hear from them. read more
