Totally awesome service was great and food was great drinks could be bigger rather than that everything was perfect

Was going to go in to order since I didn't know the protical. As soon as I opened my door a guy came rushing out to take my order. I got the chili burger and onion rings. I found out that they are getting their ground beef from the Bargain Mart. Here's the thing, I don't even buy meat from the Bargain Mart even though their meat is frozen, it is out of date. That is not something I would expect a restaurant to do. The prices do not reflect bargain mart meat. I will never go here again. Not a good business practice. read more

Wonderful off the beaten path old school drive in!!! Only thing missing from this establishment is the 1950's tunes jamming from the jukebox!!! Don't let the exterior scare you away. This place serves legit old fashioned hamburgers. We stopped after driving into town for a football game. We were with my parents. My mom thought it was the best burger she had in years possibly. The young man who took our order was helpful. read more

I Was looking forward to trying this but it did not impress. Not only did we wait 48 minutes to get our food but when we got it, it was all overcooked. During our 48 minute wait nobody came to check on us to let us even know the status of our food. Will not be eating there again. I do hope this review helps them for future customers. read more

My friends and I must have been stoned or crazy to stop at this janky burger spot. I believe we were both at the time and the semester hadn't even started yet. Yeah, there were no vegan or vegetarian options on the menu - everything loaded in grease and "TLC". My friend ordered the mushroom burger and my sister got a bacon cheeseburger. They missed up on my friend's order and didn't add any mushrooms to the burger. WTF. My sister order was right. I ordered some fries which were the blandest fries I've ever tried. When we questioned the lady who took our order, she said, "that's how we've always made it." WTF why call it a mushroom burger and it's just a patty and the buns. No cheese, no mushrooms, no lettuce. Girl, bye! I asked if she could add any seasonings to the fries and she took my plate and added salt packets. On top of that, the prices were outrageous! Rip off! Worst burgers and please don't believe the "best burgers in the south or voted the best burgers" sign, all lies. Unless you love bland food. Really good burgers and fountain drinks, I'm very picky on the way the fountain drink taste so I wanted to test out this place as I had just gone across the street and washed my car. Burger was dried out beyond belief. I ordered the Mushroom Swiss, guess they forgot that mushrooms come on it because I literally got maybe 3 pieces of mushrooms on my burger. Great burgers/food...for the price. Don't expect gourmet food here. It's exactly what a drive in restaurant is supposed to be. The car hops don't write anything down when they take your order and I very rarely have any issues. The weekly special is usually less then $7 and includes fries and a all drink. The philly isn't authentic but it's pretty good. My all time favorite are the British Burger (double meat bacon cheeseburger) or the taco basket. Tacos are NOT store bought taco shells. They are actual corn tortillas that are stuffed with ground beef, folded & fried. The only thing is they don't make salsa for the tacos. They give you a couple of pepperoncini peppers and packets of taco sauce. But even then that's pretty good for these Tex-mex delights. Get a cherry limeade you won't be sorry. Oh yeah did I mention the chili cheese fries? They have a few things I haven't tried but I'm sure they are good like Pizza Burgers, char burger, & burritos. Think of a mom and pop sonic place minus the menu boards. You drive up and ask for a menu. They bring you one and wait for them to come back then you wait until food is done. Pay and your gone. This place is very expensive, to begin with. The items are not priced so when they come out with your tab you just have to pay whatever they say you owe. Let me tell you a little bit about my experience, I went there with my daughter and husband and ordered the catfish plate and a chicken burger. We waited a whole 30 minutes before our food came out. We originally had ordered sweet tea to go with our meals but our waiter came to notify us that their machine was broke so if we could order another drink, very well, we ordered another soft drink instead then 5 minutes later the waiter came back outside to let us know that they had no water so therefore we weren't going to be able to get any drinks at all. Finally our food came out, and for our catfish plate, that was supposed to be the special of the day, by the way, and 1 chicken sandwich our order totaled to $23. I asked the waiter for the prices on each item and he told me he didn't know and that they had already closed the table out, whatever that meant. These burgers are good yes, don't get us wrong , BUT when someone calls in to order a burger with NO onions and specifically says, they are highly allergic, please make sure there are NO onions, because an allergy is serious ! Food is decent. It the same greasy food that you could get any where else in Big Spring. It is good price for the food though. Corn dog is good with fries. Very sad day today I have been going to Wagon Wheel in Big Spring for as long as I can remember. Today was my last trip. I called in an order for pick up. When I pulled up and the car hop came out with a pen and paper to take my order I knew something was wrong. They had a special Chez burger, fries, sm. Drink and dessert. Great Deal! (If they had everything). I let all that go for the time being. Got my food she forgot the drinks. Now, I have everything get home ready to eat my fat grease cheeseburger. When I took the first bit I grabbed my napkin to catch the grease but, came to find there was no grease to clean up. I took the top off my burger to find a pre-manufactured patty not the hand made that we all know and love. I also got a steak finger basket for my daughter that was waste of my money. The grease that they fried them in was cold and old so they had to cook them longer to get the color but made the meat like jerky. Now if that didn't put the icing on the cake this last thing will. If you are a cherry lime Sprite fan you will completely understand when you get to the bottom of your drink you look forward to the cherry. There was no F$"@in cherry, no F&@?in lime. What is this world coming to if you order a cherry lime Sprite there's supposed to have a cherry and a lime. If something isn't broke don't try to fix it. Okay-we were on our way to New Mexico and stopped over-night in Big Spring. We were hungry and I had read the reviews about this place through Yelp and Google. I just figured it would be a really yummy burger and fries type joint. First off the scene is pretty cool b/c you are really at a drive-in (a car-hop comes out to take your order and provides you with a menu if you've never been like us). We order 4 burgers, 4 tots, and 4 drinks. We receive 4 burgers, 4 tots, 4 drinks, and 4 orders of fries that we did not order. The chick that took our order allowed us to order all of what we ordered and didn't bother to mention the fact that fries come with all burgers (if it's listed on the little menu she brought out none of my party saw it)...The carhop giggled when we mentioned we didn't realize we were ordering fries in addition to the 4 orders of tots and she said, in a valley girl voice "oh, yeah I forgot to tell you that fries come with the burgers," her voice tinkling with laughter. Her tip was somehow also forgotten by my group. The food was meh actually-it was not bad or good-it was average. I would definitely prefer Sonic to this place any day. Went here on a Friday night and while it took a while to get our order placed and get our food, it was packed and the girls working were moving quickly the entire half hour we were there. The burgers and friends were good, felt like something you would get at home, which was just the comfort food we were looking for. Beats a chain-restaurant any day of the week in my book.
