Anna suggestd that I try the DIP manicure....I am sold on the DIP manicure. It lasts for 5 weeks for me but most importantly, I just love the results. This place is a total rip off. Me and friends went for combo pedi n manicure. All three of us purchased same package but we all got a very different service. I got no massage n rush clean, my friend got wax n hot towel after they placed nail polish, my other friend they clipped her skin n smudged nail polish. read more

Friendly staff but unfortunately a terrible gel manicure. Nails were barely even filed and completely uneven. Gel was not applied close to the cuticle so it already looks grown out. Will not be returning. read more

So I have been bouncing around from shop to shop because I just can't seem to find one where the product is good quality and that the nail tech takes pride in her work!... Until today! :) I came across Folsom nails and made an appointment with an awesome tech named Mai (Pronounced like my). I didn't have time to take my previous set off so when taking them off she was so gentle it didn't even hurt! LoL!... And then when actually doing my nails she made sure everything was on point and even and took her time with them! I had a good first experience here. I came specifically to get a gel manicure, so I called ahead of time to schedule an appointment, which was easy and they weren't too busy that day. It was very neat and clean inside, and they were pretty friendly. There are a lot of different colors to choose from. The guy who did my nails did a really good job - they look flawless! It only took about 35 minutes for him to do everything, including a hand massage & lotion after they were finished. Because I was a student, they only charged $20 which is a really great deal. If I ever want to get my nails done again, I'd probably come here. read more

They take pride in making sure the salon is clean and foot baths have a nice disposable liners to ensure cleanliness. Are you KIDDING ME?? My daughter and I went here today for Mani Pedi's. The salon tech SPLIT one of my naisl to the quick, then put a gel nail over it so she wouldn't have to clip it. Then proceeded to file the rest of my nails so short - despite me telling her I wanted them long and square. They failed to use the base and top coat I brought in AND charged me $80!!! Are you KIDDING ME?? NEVER EVER GO HERE!! They used to be good - - now are just overpriced and shoddy. read more

I'm posting this review for my girlfriend. She booked an appointment through Yelp and the price paid was $35 for a pedicure/manicure. When she went in, Annie told her the price she paid on Yelp was incorrect and should have been more. When my girlfriend tried to get the owner to honor the Yelp prices, she wouldn't budge. Apparently the new owner has not updated the prices on the Yelp since she took ownership even though it was her responsibility to keep the Yelp site up-to-date. From my perspective, this is bad business and for sure they lost a potential long-term customer by not honoring the prices posted and paid through Yelp. IMHO, its pretty silly to lose a customer over $5! Buyer beware! read more

Don't bother making an appointment at this salon, they won't honor it! This is now happened to me a couple of times, this last time I walked out after waiting for 20 minutes. It seems like the manager is more interested in taking "walk-ins" than keeping appointments....seems pretty greedy to me. I work in the Folsom and have been a customer at this nail salon since before the ownership change, although it is now more aesthetically pleasing, I'm very disappointed that I will now have to take my business elsewhere. read more
