I came here on a Sunday afternoon without an appointment thinking maybe they wouldn't be so busy. I was wrong, but oh well, that's my bad for not making an appointment or calling in advance! They asked me to come back in about an hour so I made a trip to the Target right across the street, which was something I needed to do anyway. When I came back and got my manicure, it was a great experience. My manicurist actually started only about 20 minutes before they were supposed to close, and I was a little nervous that she would probably just rush it through. While she was quick, she did not seemed rushed at all. She went back and forth to fix things here and there, even though it took her extra time. In the end, I came out with beautiful nails and I was very happy with the service. Never once did she complain about my being there past closing time, and she apologized many times for having me wait (although, again, I feel like it's my fault anyway for not making an appointment). I saw Tiffany on a Sunday at Devon's nails. I just walked in and they were able to see me for a full set right away. Although I thought I wanted acrylic nails, Tiffany convinced me to try the dip process, which she said would be healthier for my nails. It seemed like the process was a bit faster and easier than acrylics, and I really liked the end result! Plus, even though I sprung for the $15 extra chrome color, it was still very affordable. They were very busy when I was there but Tiffany still took her time with me, and we had some nice conversation. She even sat down another customer to do a full set as she was finished with my nails, even though it was closing time. Unfortunately I have to knock a couple of stars off my otherwise stellar review/experience because my nails only lasted a week and a half and I was told they should last 3. I walked in, and was immediately greeted by the front desk person, who was very nice and took me in right away. As I sat down, I was offered something to drink, which was also nice of them. I opted for a gel manicure, and the manicurist was very thorough. Checking with me to make sure I'm happy with her work. It ended up costing me $25, not expensive at all for gel, and since I paid cash I received an additional discount. The front desk thanked me for giving them a try, and he told me to please come back should any problem arise whatsoever. The man who did my nails was fantastic, I didn't catch his name but he speaks perfect English with no accent and is quit young looking. The lady who did my feet did an amazing French tip and a wonderful massage. Took my 9 year old and my sister on a Tuesday evening at 5 with no wait. My feet were so smooth afterwards and they give an amazing (and long) massage with both oil and lotion. I'm a regular here and I came in on a Sunday for the first time to a whole new staff. There is a big sign that says under new management and 10% off. Well I paid $78 for a gel manicure and gel pedicure just for some horrible results. I had one lady do my pedicure who took her time and did a fantastic job. You can tell from my pictures what a horrible manicure I received. I definitely won't be returning for such a high price and horrific nails. I was just here two weeks ago and paid $27 for the same exact manicure. They make up their prices and don't know how to discount 10%. I also pay them through Venmo so all my transactions show the price I paid. They also don't display their prices for their services. Such a scam service with changing prices! Y'all, this is the best and most affordable nail salons in Folsom. It is family owned by a husband and wife, everyone who works there is so sweet. I really enjoyed my visit to this nail salon. The prices are very reasonable and the place is clean. The woman who did my pedicure gave me the best massage that I have ever received at a nail salon. For this reason, I think I will be back soon! She was super sweet and informative about the services that they offer. No appointment needed, I made one nonetheless to be sure I get my gel mani removed. I called two hours ahead of time and was able to make an appointment rather efficiently. Vicky took the call, she was friendly and courteous. She was also the one who did the job for me. Her skills is good and she was meticulous. She was gentle and did the minimum scrapping to avoid nail damage. She filed my nails perfectly and applied cuticle oil to moisturize them. Paid $10 for it. I would recommend Vicky. It would be better if the tools used were sterilized; I noticed the tools she used were the ones she had on hand while serving another customer. My usual nail salon in the bay serves each customer with a new pack of sterilized tools so I am accustomed to it. If this does not bother you, then add another star to it. read more

I don't normally leave reviews, but this was one worth sharing because I'm pretty dissatisfied/annoyed. I just moved into town and I'm in need of finding a regular salon. I called same day and made a mani/pedi appointment for 6pm. I had a very pleasant experience at first. The woman who gave my pedicure was amazing. I wish I got her name... She was very sweet and it was such a relaxing experience. I loved my pedicure. 10/10. It was nearing closing time and I was rushed to Annie to do my (dip) manicure. She was clearly in a hurry, as it was approaching closing time at 7. She was going HAM on my nails. She was buffering my nails like a maniac. I could feel how warm my nails were in result of the friction. I was getting anxiety watching her. Also, she carelessly pushed back my cuticles with her own nail. I'm not a licensed professional, buuuut I'm pretty sure there are tools for that. She was moving so quickly that she was ripping my skin which caused some bleeding. Basically my nails are now colored and dry as hell. The co-owner, Tim, was there and he was nice. He probably noticed that I was upset and frustrated so he started making small talk. But that was shut down quickly. Annie had turned the lights off and it was obviously time to go then. I just walked out so confused. Where is the customer service...? I'm pretty easy going and it takes a lot to get me ticked off. I'm sooooo annoyed that my fingers look like this. I had high hopes. I learned my lesson-I will never make an appointment within 1.5 hours to closing time. I would much rather have someone take good care of my nails and do a quality job for the $$ I'm forking over. If you get Annie, just be careful. On our way out, Tim said that she had places to go. We all have lives to get to, but I'm a paying customer. I thought they'd make more of an effort to do a better job. Couldn't someone else have taken over? Couldn't she have stayed a little longer? Couldn't they have told me to schedule earlier knowing what services I wanted? So many questions, but now I'm pissed af. This place is pretty cool other than the sh*t service I had at the end. Plan ahead and make time to go in earlier. It's not worth having dry nails for the price you pay. I want to like this place more, but now I just have a sour taste in my mouth. Dirty, overpriced and bad customer service. Brought my three year granddaughter in for a special occasion. Wanted to get the same nail color and design together. They were all done with me but didn't paint the matching flowers as my granddaughter. They told me it was an additional 5 dollars. Since I had already paid INCLUDING the 2.5 % fee AND a 5.00 tip, I didn't want to run my card again for another charge and extra fee. I said "but I didn't get the massage". Can't you just thrown in a flower for free? No, they wouldn't!! Really? 6 dots of extra nail polish is too much to ask for when you're already charging 15.00 for a manicure!!! Extra touches like a cold Diet Coke and checking the temp of our water frequently really helped make the experience at this salon unique. My 4th of July toes came out gorgeous, and the nail technicians redid the stars three times to make sure they looked perfect. High quality work with a very friendly staff. One of the worst salons I've been too. I made an appointment, but wasn't helped til 30 minutes later. If you are understaffed, please give customers that warning and time, don't just say yes to an appointment. The lady who did my gel pedicure rushed it. She did not use the cuticle softer or give a proper massage. She did a horrible job on my gel pedicure with an uneven paint job. When there was skin hanging off that she did not cut, she said "You're dry! That's the best I could do!" Excuse me, why are you yelling about me about my dry skin?
