Filipino nanangs who took and placed calls on my behalf for the Co. were completely clueless. Mixing up days of the week, account numbers, giving out almost completely wrong info regarding the process on all fronts. Complete waste of time. And the bulk pick up had to be handled another way in the end, which turned into a hassle. Hassles that could've been mitigated or avoided altogether with competent assistance in the beginning from Recology.

They refuse to change them out because they aren't broken in their eyes however every time one of my tenants puts too much liquid in them they leak all over. The supervisor came out to inspect the trash cans. It takes a lot of arrogance to park in my other tenants' parking spots and stay there as long as he did. My tenants deserve their parking spots ready for them whenever they need them. That isn't your place to park. Obnoxious company. I was telling my wife last night I should keep track of all the times I have to call them and all the times they skipped my account and sue them to get back all the money that is lost with them always wasting my time having to call them. Going to try to upload video of them examining their trash cans. I spend a lot of money on this company. They can work on their customer service. Update: emailed customer service directly and the president of the company after finding his email on the computer. Derek took great care of me. All my bins got changed and I'm assuming supervisor was aware of my complaint. Now I know how to escalate for future use. At least somebody there has their head screwed on correctly.

Only got $16 back but it's better than nothing. If you're looking for a recycling center, going here is your best bet. Their prices are better than their competitors and they're organized/clean.

Workers always pick up your bins for you when you're done putting your recycling in as well and receiving your payment is quick and easy via check. Some say you lose more money by turning in recycling by weight instead of per bottle but those like me who just need to recycle and get out right away, this is your place for good value in experience while doing a tedious task. Workers deserve a raise. They work hard to make the process go as smooth as possible for all customers. Thank you for all your help. Let's start at the beginning, there was a LOT FULL sign at the entrance, not blocking at all & I saw no attendant there bringing cars in from other lot or anything so I wasn't going to trust that, I slowly pulled in & surprisingly found ONE singular spot open right in front! I wasn't sure if it was a walkway to the front but the line wrapped around the next 3-4 spots so I knew I wouldn't be in any way. I got all my recycling in the first two wired bins I could snag near me, it wasn't until I was in line that I noticed a small sign, not even near the empty cans, that described what materials they wanted placed in specific bins. (There's wired & blue plastic ones) I don't believe I followed what they wanted exactly but they still took my materials! So that's good. I had a broken beaker in my glass & mentioned it to the gentleman doing the weighing & he told me they'd take it I'm fine! I watched as he weighed out my minimal amount of materials & then wrote me out a receipt of sorts. I got to the front, the lady on the right took my clipboard & then said the lady on the left will give me my cash. NOW, I had read Yelp reviews on this place before going & a person said a lady fitting this one's description had jipped her $10 ! Off of a $65 total! Insane! So I made sure to check my money before even turning around to leave, I could tell my amount was $11 & I flipped up the 10 & said politely, "this is only $10, I'm supposed to have $11?" She got flustered & apologized while digging out another dollar for me. I'm glad I read reviews bc I might've walked off & got in my car before realizing, then probably would've been too scared to say something! So that lady being a serial jipper & the state of the parking lot, potholes & no attendant are the reasons for stars knocked off! We have been up there to sell cans 5-6 times. Much simpler than the one in San Rafael used to be. That one was noisy and confusing. Too closed in (claustrophobic) and unclear to go to. When I come to this location I already got my plastic bottles and cans separated which impresses the people that work there. I am in and out within five minutes. I am aware of plastic bottles and cans to be separated which I have seen other people still separating theirs which they take longer to do.
