Vaca Recycling seemed to be V Town's preferred recycling center, so, I thought today would be the day to see why. The staff are courteous and stayed busy weighing recyclables and returning the emptied bins to the area for customers to grab as they arrived. It was fast, easy, and painless. I didn't even have to show ID! (Only required on sales over $100). I was given a receipt in no time and I walked a short distance to redeem my cash from the convenient store in the same lot. The parking lot is small. But, not somewhere I couldn't maneuver through. Vaca Recycling is located on E. Monte Vista and Callen Road. It shares a parking lot with a gas station (Pemex? ..I believe it's called) I'll come back again when I have another load of recycles to unload :)

But, I explained to him I do reviews on Yelp and he then proceeded to make some interesting remarks. All that aside, we recycled 4-5 garbage bags of cans that filled up 2 of their trash bins. Only got $16 back but it's better than nothing. If you're looking for a recycling center, going here is your best bet. Their prices are better than their competitors and they're organized/clean.

Workers always pick up your bins for you when you're done putting your recycling in as well and receiving your payment is quick and easy via check. Some say you lose more money by turning in recycling by weight instead of per bottle but those like me who just need to recycle and get out right away, this is your place for good value in experience while doing a tedious task. Workers deserve a raise. They work hard to make the process go as smooth as possible for all customers. Thank you for all your help. We called this company a couple of days ago. They're based in San Francisco, CA but also have a…read morelocation in Vacaville, CA. They scheduled an appointment for today, 8/4/17. Their truck was at our house on time, shredded two 40 gal garbage cans full of stuff, gave us a receipt stating that they'd safely destroyed everything and were out of here. I don't have enough words to describe how much I appreciate their service. I highly recommend this firm. I have tried to place my review on their Vacaville, CA location but don't seem to be able to accomplish that. My review is for the company but intended for the Vacaville location since that's who we did business with.

Jose is very helpful and always looking out for everyone and he is the most passionate, hardworking, and kind person. Great break room also. Provides coffee, snacks, and etc! Not too hard to do keep in mind every bag you make is feeding a family and it helps a lot. I was really nervous and afraid that the task of doing community service was going to be hard and I have anxiety and being in there got me the comfort I needed to keep going and the employees always gets me going too. It made me to the fact that I want to donate my time at least once a month after doing 103 hours worth of community service. Jocelyn is also helpful with my situation and is best and giving advice, helping out with my situation, and very caring for those that need community service for any reason! I had absolutely no idea how much the Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano does for our community! This place is gigantic! They are committed to providing those in need in our community with healthy food options. This place is stacked with food we are talking racks on racks on racks! If there is EVER a zombie outbreak this is where I am going ‍ we will be set! In all seriousness I was so amazed at all the different ways they help our community! From no ask drive up food donation locations, to suppling large amounts or food to shelters. There are so many ways to get involved with this nonprofit and they need all the help they can get. When life happened and we needed more than 10 days, I tried calling several times during business hours to let them know. Well on 8/12 I got a bill with a nice $50 late fee. Again I tried calling with no answer. Went down there in person to talk to the manager I originally worked with. Turns out she no longer works there. $430 was how much I had to pay since they wouldn't waive the late fee. Will not use this place again or recommend.
