Fast service. Very busy but it went better than I expected. It made me happy that the cans and bottles didn't go into a landfill.

Someone in facebook recommended this place after the recycling place in Oakley is close for good.We are happy and appreciative of the service the three hardworking gentlemen have done.I have called at least a couple of times and they have answered right away and very courteous.The facility is in the back of Mountain Mike's in Antioch,they provided the bins for our plastic and cans,it was efficient and the working gentleman can't even take a break since there are so many of us lining up,They have kept the surroundings tidy.Thank you hardworking staff of Pavel's,hoping you will open one in Brentwood. read more

It's been awhile since my last recycling so was in search of Recycling center for the cans & plastic bottles around Brentwood. Glad to say I chose Pavels Recycling . Sunday they open at noon , there was not too much crowd since I reached by 11.45 am . I was the first one to be served luckily it was done very quickly also it helped since I had done all the sorting beforehand it was quick & efficient process. It was pleasure talking to Pavel ( business owner) himself very pleasant & respectful. I will definitely come back here for my recycling. Excellent customer service. read more

Great place near Brentwood/Oakley to take your aluminum cans, glass bottles, and plastic bottles. I went right when they opened @ 9:30, and they were very busy, but they're pretty fast. Do be aware that they have a max aluminum buy-back of 90lbs. So if you have been saving for a while like myself you will have to go back another day. Wish that wasn't the case, but it is. read more

There were 4 people in front of me with lots of bins so I waited about 40 minutes in line. It was my first time recycling and everything went smoothly. Workers were fast and professional. I got about $35 for the load that I brought, I would definitely come back. read more

I would give this business a millions stars of if I could!! There are truly good honest people still in the world. My husband and I went to do the recycling and my wedding ring slipped off my finger. I realized it after we got home. I called the business desperately hoping someone found it or turned it in and spoke with the business owner, Pavel. He said he would definitely check with his guys. After a couple hours he called and said they had found it. Talk about good humans. This business deserves all the business in the world. Pavels are the best recycling ever. I've been to a few. Delta closed and we found Pavels. Ignore the bad reviews, you can't please everyone. It's really a great place, bring your cans already sorted, pour them into their cans, get in line and receive your cash. Pricing is very fair. They are a 10+ in my estimation. read more

I like that the place was clean and the two of the guys were nice. However, I think I get better pricing elsewhere. I got less then I got for 3 small bags of just plastic bottles somewhere else over the bottles,cans and amount of glass I brought in today. I like the openess and cleanliness but for pricing I'll have to go elsewhere. read more

Fast, Convenient & Clean! My son recommended me here..Pay out is decent. Savings. I had like 40 minutes till pick up my granddaughter I was like let me go check it out and sure enough everything was done so fast I mean I did have my recycles separated already so that made it more easy I just had to pour it in their bins. The guy that does the weighing is extremely rude. I believe he's working very angry. Anybody who works with him knows The second time I've dumped here first time was very pleasant. The other gentleman was very professional. The guy was very mad because of the type of tower. We grabbed no signs no direction just an angry scale attendant to tell us what we need to do like children, not an attitude to your company, knew he was trouble from the way he was treating the customers before us. We didn't get any treatment different so at least he's consistent. Somebody needs to talk with this guy unless he's the owner, he acts like he's the owner so maybe this won't mean nothing to anybody. Let's see. PS that everybody's a homeless person desperate for your money where you have an opportunity to degrade and humiliate. You should reflect. PS I want to give a little background. I've been in the garbage business for 40 years. I worked at a m.r.f in San Francisco . and I had a couple of more questions when's the last time your scale was certified second when's the last time you cleaned the area? You guys have so much pollutant runoff coming off that truck under the concrete in the back area that may be inspector should look at that and see how clean you're supposed to have that cause I know my company we had to keep that area clean the area is filthy and I believe when it rains, it runs off into the drains not a good look for you guys might have to call the city and find out. Soo many RED FLAGS with this place and I'll definitely never be going back. For starters, when I parked my car one of the employees thought it was ok to smoke a joint right next to my car. Then when I finally got to the front of the line for them to weigh my cans, bottles, and glass, the same employee lost count after 3 bins because of how high he was. When he finished weighing everything, the net weight was 9.81lbs, which is literally impossible considering I had to make 2 trips with a dolly just to carry the glass alone to the line (not including my crushed cans and plastic). Also, I've never been to a recycling place that doesn't break down the weight, price , and type of material you brought on an itemized receipt to explain your total payout. And why are you guys not giving customer receipts and only present a merchant copy? This whole experience was extremely shady and felt like the employees were stealing money. read more

Got there at 9:10, first customer. 5 customers later, 9:30, no staff. First staffer arrives 9:35, but no keys. Another customer said last week they didn't arrive to open til after 10am. More customers arrive, looking at their watches. 9:45 the guy with the keys sauntered up and casually began unlocking, pulling out yesterday's recycling and buckets, and setting up. Two vans of Disabled People pulled up at 10am and were given the limited buckets to fill while others that were there half an hour earlier had to wait for buckets. No receipt was given. Last week I tried to bring in the same load of recycling but after 20min. I left as pickups of recycling were arriving. As more and more people discover Delta Scrap is closed the already overwhelmed(And unreliable staff), will deter more business and customers will look elsewhere. There needs to be another team with scales and a trailer to be effective. My evaluation was on a Thursday morning-- not a busy weekend or after a holiday. read more

This is THE place to recycle your aluminum cans. Really friendly young man and was almost spot telling us how much our bags of cans weighed. He even has a hand washing station in his container so you can leave with clean hands. He captured our hearts and we will be using his facility to recycle our cans so that he can buy that house for his mom so she can raise her chickens. read more

I always bring my recycling to Pavel. He provides a little sink and hand sanitizer so I can wash my hands after handling dirty cans and bottles. The other recyclers don't even think of that simple thing. It says a lot about how he thinks of his customers. He's very quick about sorting everything so it's all over so quick. I drive in, start pulling out the stuff and he already has the bins ready for me to go. No waiting in line. read more

The workers at Pavels...every one of them, have been nothing but helpful, attentive and friendly!!! I've been there 3 times and I'm sorry to say...it's always been last minute. I mean, 5:30pm or even later, (not on purpose or intentional)... And the workers there were still so very helpful! Not even a smug look or an irritated sigh. Very very pleasant experience each visit! I will absolutely respect their hours and come much earlier...I know they are tired and want to go home on time, so I apologize for coming so late but thank you for still being very attentive and so friendly!! Tried Pavels' today and it was a great experience! Very nice guy just starting up. Fair pricing for plastic bottles and aluminum cans that he keeps updated online. The area is clean and easy to access (on the side of Mtn Mike's. As he's still new, the wait was minimal (which I don't think will last as word of mouth gets out) and much closer to where we live than anywhere else. We will definitely be going back! read more
