Due to plumbing issues beyond our control we had no washer and dryer and needed to do some laundry. After checking Yelp, we decided to try this place since they took coins and even had an app to use if we ran out of coins. The place was very clean and plenty of machines to use along with enough seating. I like the app because it was easy to download and use. We even were able to buy a couple of large laundry bags that we will be using a lot. While there, there was someone always sweeping and checking on everyone which I appreciated. While we may not have enjoyed having to go to a laundry-mat, this place was good. A couple days later, we received a nice handwritten note from the bush was owner! That is something that does not happen a lot and it shows Bryan cares about his business and the customers. read more

This laundromat is a gem! I've been coming here for about 2 years. When I first started coming, I got a card in the mail, thanking me for using them. Like, who does that? Most of All the machines work all the time. I do a two week laundry rotation. I've never seen one machine down for that long. I've come in once where there was a fire, and I turned around and left and had to go somewhere else. Man, was I disappointed! I went in a couple days later and they were already done with fixing the water damage caused by the fire being put out. The machine was back up and running too. Using the Dexter Pay app has been a time saver and not having to change out quarters has been awesome. As for the employees, Jaimi is by far the friendliest and helpful! She helped me out several times and I come specifically when she's working. She's got some great music selections going. It might be yacht rock one day, Motown on another, and sometimes some opera and classical. If you have issues with the Dexter Pay app, she's there to the rescue. I love this laundromat! It is well kept up and the employees are constantly going around to wipe down leftover moisture in the machines and clean the floors. I love it so much I didn't want to write a review so it can stay a hidden gem. Haha. You can use the dexter pay app to pay for the laundry or the old traditional quarters. I haven't gone to a laundromat in a while, but I used the biggest machine for my comforters and it was $10 just to wash. I'm sure this is standard, but be prepared if you plan to use these machines. I'm not sure if it was just because it was a Monday, but it was so busy. By the time I left mid afternoon the laundromat had four to five people in each aisle. It was getting crowded so next time I'll go I'll see if that is what to expect. I will be happily returning to when I want to wash my bigger items. Came here to wash a few washable rugs since they have the super extra large washers and dryers. I was pleasantly surprised at how clean the whole establishment was including the machines. The machines didn't have that mildewed smell that I have experienced at other laundry mats. The soap is pretty inexpensive if you happen to forget your own. The owner is super responsive and is constantly sweeping the inside. A few doors down is a Hawaiian bbq place so it's nice to have when you have a lot of laundry. I loved that you can pay on your phone on the app so no need to bring change and it also tells you when your load is over so you can quickly switch your clothes over. About a week or two I received a card from the owner with a business card and a handwritten note! It was such a nice touch. I will continue to bring my over sized items like washable rugs and Mexican blankets to wash. read more

Its very dark, as the street lights are out, so probably best to go when its still light out. I dont want to ding it stars for the area, its Vallejo people, you know what to expect. ( how did we ever live before these apps ?? lol lol ) I was lucky to meet the owner. he is a very nice business man and a down to earth individual. He treats his employees very well. This place was pretty good. The guy attending was very attentive to the customers needs. The place is clean. There are several carts for our needs. The beat part is they have something called DexterPay. Each washer and dryer is connected to the internet so if you don't have cash or coins you can pay with the app that is linked up to your debit or credit card. We are passing thru during a long distance road trip and I haven't used a laundromat in years so it felt pricy but I'm sure it's the same every where. It isn't in the best part of town (who are we kidding, it's Vallejo!) but it is super clean and there is always an attendant present in case a patron may need some help. My favorite thing about this laundromat is all of the new machines which you can use thru an app to make life easy! You simply fill up the washer/dryer you desire and add money via the app, press start and sit back and relax. The greatest feature is the app which allows you to see the stage the washer/dryer is in and how much time is remaining. It can be crowded at times but with amount of machines they have, it doesn't take long to get through laundry day. I usually don't go to the public laundromat unless my appliances at home are in need of repair or I have large loads that won't fit in my home washer. Well, I had a very large load that I needed to wash so I went to Vallejo Wash and Dry by the old Raley's on Broadway. I loaded my items to the first available large loader washer available but as it turns out, ditzy me left the baggy of quarters on the counter in my kitchen. I was disappointed because I had a lot of things to do that day and having to go back home and get the quarters and come back again to the laundromat it's just an unnecessary waste of time. However I looked around for options and I noticed the signs up on the walls about an app you can download and pay online. I downloaded the app entered my personal information and voilà I was able to wash my clothes without having to make a half hour round-trip drive home again to retrieve my quarters. The instructions on the app are SO incredibly easy. You enter the Number code of the location, and the number code of the appliance that you are using. You can see the details on your app that shows up on the face of the washer 25 minutes large load. You can sit in your car and wait for your washer to be finished and you could see on your app if your washer is done. Same for the dryer's, Just enter the location (number code) of the place and the number code of the appliance you are using. Add extra time as needed to driers as needed Just as you would add extra quarters into the slot if you needed more time, the only difference is you just make a couple clicks on your smart phone. This was a great stress relief at the time, as I'm always rushing to get things done and I did not have extra time to do extra trips for cash, also in an era of coin shortage it's very convenient solution. I would not have thought again about this experience but a couple weeks later I received a very nice thank you card in the mail which I thought was a very sweet gesture , regarding experience with the app. The owner reached out to say thank you for using the app and hoped I had a good experience with the app. It's called "DexterPay" by the way. So I decided to write a review to share that this was a great experience for me. The handwritten thank you card was an above and beyond nice gesture that shows the business owner, Bryan Maxwell, cares about his customers experience. It is rare to see this attention to customer service anymore. So id like to take the time to highly recommend this location. It is a clean laundromat, the appliances work great, there's a lot of washers and dryers Even when it's busy weekend there's always a machine available that you can use. I visited Vallejo Wash N Dry on Black Friday, which was great because the place was not very busy. The Dexter brand washers and dryers are new and well maintained. The dryers especially were effective at drying my sheets and comforters relatively quickly, given their size and fluffiness. The laundromat is staffed at all times by a friendly and helpful attendant. When I went, the lady attendant was very sociable and was chatting it up with the regulars. This is important; it shows that this business cares about building that social connection with its clientele. The facility is also very clean and well lit inside. Change machines in the business are able to turn $1, $5, $10, and $20 bills into quarters. For folks with a smartphone and a credit card, but no cash, you can use the Dexter app to link to your credit card and pay the business that way. Super convenient because I almost never have cash on me. All in all, not a bad place to spend a little under 120 minutes cleaning my bedding. 5 stars on yelp. read more
