Excellent donuts! Dough is made fresh daily. Cinnamon rolls are a favorite. Drip coffee or espresso shots offered.

Typically I never leave reviews but today I think I just have to. This mom & pop ice cream store is…read moreexceptional in both its service and it's ice cream itself. To begin, the service at this place is exceptional. Typically they have a set of ice cream flavors that they serve for a day. However today I asked if they had a flavor that they weren't serving for that day. I'm just visiting from another state and just thought it wasn't on the menu. (100% my bad) However even though they didn't offer it, they were able to get it for me from their back freezer. This process of preparing it for me took time since it wasn't pre-prepared. But this goes to show you that this place priorities customers over comfort. Additionally, their ice cream is exceptional. It is all homemade and the flavor and texture of the ice cream is perfect. Would come again. If you are visiting Gettysburg this place is 100% worth coming to

Our group of six had a great time here! The building has a historic charm that made the wait (about…read more15 minutes) more enjoyable, and the outdoor line even had a fun game to keep us entertained. We passed another ice cream shop to try this one after a tour guide mentioned it was among the best in the country according to a recent news article. While my two-scoop cone definitely hit the spot on a warm August afternoon, my daughter pointed out that the article's author might not have sampled some of the fantastic dairy stores and ice cream shops we have back home in the Midwest. I'd have to agree--I've had better in Minnesota and Wisconsin. Still, this is a charming stop with tasty treats and a fun vibe--worth a visit if you're in the area!

Add in the special toppings on top of the Gelato bases the aesthetics were incredible! We used to live in York and I would go here frequently because they make dog ice cream treats! They are awesome and our German Shepherd loves them! I got a 6 pack yesterday! I got a 2 scoop dish! Fluffernutter and Peanut Butter Egg! Incredible! They even place a waffle cone chip in your dish! No seating indoors at the Gettysburg location, but they had a few tables outside to sit at! The two girls serving up ice cream were phenomenal! Asked us about free samples, gave us recommendations, and we're very good at their jobs! The portions are definitely generous!

Upon arrival there were only 2 vehicles in the parking lot, likely driven by the 2 young employees, however a couple arrived several minutes later. I chose a scoop each of Black & White and Fudge, both no sugar added with a small bag of cone fragments and a 20% tip for $14.30. The 2 young women behind the counter were pleasant and helpful. I ate outdoors in the sunlight in contradistinction to summer where I would hide from the scorching sun! It is my understanding that later this summer they will be moving their location north several hundredfeet on the same side of the road. The building construction is well underway, so this ought be nice. They have an assortment of flavors with typically 2 no sugar added choices, seemingly typical of ice cream shops, some of which have no options for those who need to be mindful. Check ot out!

The only food we ordered was the wings, which were also delicious. Our only complaint was the bar staff eating in plain sight of customers behind the bar, including eating chips with their hands and then mixing and serving cocktails without washing their hands. The bar was not busy at the time, so the staff should be afforded the opportunity to take breaks for eating rather than eating while serving. I will return because I loved the atmosphere and the menu, but hope the staff pulls it together to elevate the restaurant to the level comparable to their menu.

First off, service was dialed in: attentive without hovering, genuinely warm, and paced just right for a relaxed evening. Cocktails ("bespoke") can sometimes feel like an afterthought at places like this, but not here. The La Dulce Vida was excellent--balanced, not overly sweet, and actually worth ordering again (rare). We split the baby beet salad and honestly could've eaten two. Bright, fresh, and one of those dishes that makes you rethink how good something simple can be. Mains: duck à l'orange and steak frites. Both delivered. The duck had that perfect mix of richness and citrus, and the steak was cooked spot-on--though fair warning, it's a serious portion. The frites skip the usual cone presentation, but they're crispy and plentiful, so no real complaints. All in around $200 with tip for two, which felt fair given the quality across the board. This is the kind of place that doesn't try too hard--and gets almost everything right. Would come back.
