I read about this place on Dallas Love List and decided to give it a try! We were hiking nearby and got our order to go. The inside was relatively empty so the service was super quick. I was able to order at the bar and it was ready within 5 mins. They place the eggs in a deviled egg friendly container too which was awesome! We got three types of deviled eggs- Crab Rangoon, Gyro and Buffalo Chicken. Crab Rangoon we gave a 5/5 and was our favorite. The gyro one we gave a 4/5 and was our second favorite. We jumped in the car and went on an adventure to Denison and the Deviled Egg Co because you can never go wrong with a road trip and deviled eggs and visiting a city you have never been to. We wanted to try a lot of the flavors and so we got Buffalo Blue, crab Rangoon, walking Taco and Gyro to please us both. They were all very different but good. I think my favorites were crab Rangoon and Walking Taco. The staff when we walked in were welcoming and helpfully choosing our flight of eggs. The service was quick as well. We stopped in on our way out of town for a girls weekend. We've been to the Togo location in McKinney several times and loved it. This location just wasn't great for us. We were one of three tables with two waitresses. We had to ask for water refills several times and it took a bit to have someone come over and take our order. We got the artichoke dip (amazing), and three different types of eggs. The egg of the month was really gritty and texture and we ended up not eating it. We let our waitress know that the egg filling was really gritty and no option was given for an alternative egg or to take it off of our ticket. We were at the restaurant for over 40 minutes mainly due to waiting in the wait staff. We will continue to visit the McKinney location, but we will not be back to this location until they figure out some of the kinks. Not a great start to our girls weekend. read more

Cool and relaxing place on a hot day. Wasn't coming to this place passing through town, but saw it and had to try. Deviled eggs are delicious and flavorful. On our way home from Oklahoma I wanted to try this place, it popped up in one of my foodie pages and of course I have to try it. My husband got the chick fil egg. He said it was okay. I got the crab rangoon and smoked salmon. I loved the smoked salmon more. Our waitress which I also believe was the manager took really good care of us. When I went to go take care of my baby's diaper, she told me they did not have a changing station but told me about the vault room and said I could use it. No, just no. The trip here was exciting, but regrettable. Our server was nice, and she helped us decide on our order, but that is where the pleasantries end. The eggs.... Our tab was $20 for three eggs and a cup of water. For a place focused on deviled eggs, you'd think they'd make good ones. They used the same base for each type of egg and it was not a pleasant option. We had the smoked salmon and capers and the jalapeño popper options. The base was way over salty, and the eggs were very over priced. They were hardly edible. Each order came with three halves, and was $7.50 per order. Meaning we received 3 total eggs for $15. I had one of my halves tempura and it added $1.50. Not worth it. I can not recommend going here. Also the ambiance is weird. I didn't enjoy the over pixelated 70's music videos playing behind the bar. They were nauseating. They need to be more creative with the bases to make it fit toppings, or give up the idea. You can't be lazy with this concept. Harvest has some better DE as an appetizer for half the cost. Lastly, the conversations from the staff behind the bar were rather unsettling. I wanted there to be more Bold flavor almost like it was going to punch me when I ate it so I would just say WOW... but it just didn't. Dad gummet, it just didn't do it for me. We had 4 foodies at the table and all said same thing. We tried the crab Rangoon flatbread (needed a lil more flavor and a lot more crisp on that crust). I regret not taking pics: The eggs looked good but lacked that "oooomph" I was hoping for. Will I return, probably but i will just drink the cocktails which all looked amazing. We tried 10 diff eggs and the best was the chic-fil-a, siracha bacon (most flavor of the lot) and the backyard bbq. Those were most tasty of the 10 options we tried. Now, the absolute star of the show was the goat cheese balls appetizer. Those lil suckers are delish (10 on those). However, they are pretty pricey at $14 for 5! What I would love to see for this business is a tweak to their menu. If they could add some More "real food options" I think it would go far. Maybe an egg salad sandwich or a BLT-E (with an egg) or something. I will go back and give it another try... especially for those goat cheese balls... and don't get me wrong, I will enjoy the eggs too but if you are gonna just sell deviled eggs they should be the best! My friend and I went to lunch on Monday - the only day they open for lunch. First - it's quite small, kind of a cozy vibe, and the chairs are so comfy you want to stay. The sign says, Seat yourself and the napkins and flatware were already on the table, along with the menus. There was just one server working but she was efficient and friendly so we never felt neglected. After reading other reviews I knew we had to have the feta balls. Don't miss these! Every egg variation we tried was delicious albeit salty, but the crab Rangoon egg is DIVINE. Excellent dirty martinis and wonderful staff! Three large screens are virtual aquariums; NOT a "game day" place but a viable alternative to the wealth of such establishments in the area if you want to escape the sports craze. They have a huge assortment of deviled eggs with different toppings that come in an order of three for each flavor. You can also get them deep fried for an extra charge. They have a very large assortment of martinis and cocktails that also looked delicious. We ate in the car but everything was nice and fresh. The goat cheese balls were amazing. They have a honey pepper sauce on them that was delicious and worked well together. They were also a very decent size each, so they were priced well. I wish they actually came with a bit more sauce, but I was a HUGE fan. We tried the chicken Caesar salad, backyard bbq, ballpark, cheeseburger and traditional with mayo. They were all eggcelent!
