I love, love, love them. Ed and his team do an "Amazing" job. We have worked with Ed for the past…read morethree years. They help plan your menu if you want, come up with ideas that are not on their many menus to choose from or suggest items that are new and trending for your parties. They can accommodate all your unique requests and provide servers, bartenders and even glassware when you need more, even at the very last minute. In the last two months, I think we've worked with them 4 times with every situation requiring a completely different menu and set up from an office breakfast retirement party to holiday brunch at the house for 30 people to a casual drop off catering for a small party with friends to a full scale holiday party for executives. Ed has helped plan, coordinate, arrange people, checked in prior for last minute needs and followed up afterwards to see how it went. What have been some our fav items this season? Omelet bar. Definite yes. Missy with Amazing Caterers was wonderful as well for this. Request her if you can. On appetizers, go for the coconut shrimp as they are pretty, have a mango salsa and are a must have. You may need to order extras of this, as it's the first thing to go for sure. The tenderloin and turkey sliders are a great, heavier appetizer that is easy to eat while also filling for when you are also serving cocktails (and you can get the coleslaw on the side if you don't want them pre-made with it), served with horseradish pickles which are soooo yum. The tenderloin crostini were really good as well. Highly recommend. Then, the assorted desserts are awesome, especially those freaking cake balls I ate four of in like 30 minutes. Was that caramel inside? Goodness. Daniel was very attentive at our last party too. If he even heard us say something to each other (i.e., running out of ice), he was all over it. Once they receive all of their money for the event they are catering, they are like a ghost...until the night before that is...trying to sneakily change the menu and serve subpar food...They recently catered my wedding on 7/9/16 and brought an ENTIRELY different menu than what my husband and I were fed multiple times, including my mother-in-law. We have pictures. A lot of people didn't eat the mostly cold food that was served at our wedding, my husband and I were amongst them. But according to Chad "...everyone had fun, so why are you upset?". Um, that's not the point Chad...they ONLY had fun because I personally arranged the entertainment. That had NOTHING to do with the food Sir, seriously....and Mashed potatoes in martini glasses....really?!? I SPECIFICALLY asked Ed how they'd stay warm..."Oh I've got it, I've got it...", riiiight! That's why i saw multiple trash baskets FULL of cold, stale, boxed Idaho mashed potatoes in martini glasses....ok. I had 3 jobs at one point to pay for this "Amazing Catering" alone! AT FIRST Ed wanted to make it right, but this is a ONCE IN A LIFETIME event....I let him know that "You cannot make up a WEDDING Sir!!!" He then became very RUDE and belligerent. He arged endlessly with my husband at our day-after wedding shower in front of everyone... then harassed us via text on our honeymoon over the next day or so. Now I have no refund as Mr. Ed Brandt promised on 7/10/16. As for Chad, he says he's not worried about "people like us"....what does THAT mean? Hard working, tax paying, Dallas individuals who don't take crap lying down when the wool was pulled over their eyes...I've never had ANY issue like this....EVER. I am a good, working, law abiding person. I have NEVER had anything like this happen in my 31 years. WOW, is all I can say! I DO NOT RECOMMEND them if you value your hard earned money, love food like we do, or want your guests to be able to actually eat the food you purchased.
