I love, love, love them. Ed and his team do an "Amazing" job. We have worked with Ed for the past three years. They help plan your menu if you want, come up with ideas that are not on their many menus to choose from or suggest items that are new and trending for your parties. They can accommodate all your unique requests and provide servers, bartenders and even glassware when you need more, even at the very last minute. In the last two months, I think we've worked with them 4 times with every situation requiring a completely different menu and set up from an office breakfast retirement party to holiday brunch at the house for 30 people to a casual drop off catering for a small party with friends to a full scale holiday party for executives. Ed has helped plan, coordinate, arrange people, checked in prior for last minute needs and followed up afterwards to see how it went. What have been some our fav items this season? Omelet bar. Definite yes. Missy with Amazing Caterers was wonderful as well for this. Request her if you can. On appetizers, go for the coconut shrimp as they are pretty, have a mango salsa and are a must have. You may need to order extras of this, as it's the first thing to go for sure. The tenderloin and turkey sliders are a great, heavier appetizer that is easy to eat while also filling for when you are also serving cocktails (and you can get the coleslaw on the side if you don't want them pre-made with it), served with horseradish pickles which are soooo yum. The tenderloin crostini were really good as well. Highly recommend. Then, the assorted desserts are awesome, especially those freaking cake balls I ate four of in like 30 minutes. Was that caramel inside? Goodness. Daniel was very attentive at our last party too. If he even heard us say something to each other (i.e., running out of ice), he was all over it. Amazing Caterers RUINED what should've been the best day of my life. Ed Brant and Chad do NOT CARE about you as an individual or person...and even less about the food they serve to you and your guests. Once they receive all of their money for the event they are catering, they are like a ghost...until the night before that is...trying to sneakily change the menu and serve subpar food...They recently catered my wedding on 7/9/16 and brought an ENTIRELY different menu than what my husband and I were fed multiple times, including my mother-in-law. We have pictures. A lot of people didn't eat the mostly cold food that was served at our wedding, my husband and I were amongst them. But according to Chad "...everyone had fun, so why are you upset?". Um, that's not the point Chad...they ONLY had fun because I personally arranged the entertainment. That had NOTHING to do with the food Sir, seriously....and Mashed potatoes in martini glasses....really?!? I SPECIFICALLY asked Ed how they'd stay warm..."Oh I've got it, I've got it...", riiiight! That's why i saw multiple trash baskets FULL of cold, stale, boxed Idaho mashed potatoes in martini glasses....ok. I had 3 jobs at one point to pay for this "Amazing Catering" alone! AT FIRST Ed wanted to make it right, but this is a ONCE IN A LIFETIME event....I let him know that "You cannot make up a WEDDING Sir!!!" He then became very RUDE and belligerent. He arged endlessly with my husband at our day-after wedding shower in front of everyone... then harassed us via text on our honeymoon over the next day or so. Now I have no refund as Mr. Ed Brandt promised on 7/10/16. As for Chad, he says he's not worried about "people like us"....what does THAT mean? Hard working, tax paying, Dallas individuals who don't take crap lying down when the wool was pulled over their eyes...I've never had ANY issue like this....EVER. I am a good, working, law abiding person. I have NEVER had anything like this happen in my 31 years. WOW, is all I can say! I DO NOT RECOMMEND them if you value your hard earned money, love food like we do, or want your guests to be able to actually eat the food you purchased. I attended a week-long event that was catered by Amazing Caterers. I have a specialized, medical diet (Gluten free, dairy free, no/low sugar/carbs)that they were made aware of, in advance. The first day, they served grilled chicken over pasta with baby carrots, zucchini, & green beans. I asked if the pasta was gluten free and the confirmed it was. I told them it wasn't sugar free and the main guy insisted it didn't have any sugar. Ok- if it's gluten free pasta, it has sugar in it. Plus, baby carrots have a lot of sugar. Day 2 was the exact same meal, except it was extra slimy with a funky smell. I didn't eat that day, and let them know. Turns out, the other people with special diets complained about the food as well. Day 3, SAME. EXACT. MEAL! I went out and grabbed something appropriate to eat. Day 4, they tried to serve vegetables and rice. When I asked for a protein, the main guy told me there was rice. Wha???? That's a starch, buddy! Again, I provided my own meal. Day 5 was sandwich day. They served a "gluten free" portobello sandwich. The bun was individually wrapped, but looked exactly like the regular buns. If you are going to run a catering business, or work/serve food to groups of people, you should have a basic understanding of allergies and foods. A low carb diet does not allow GF pasta, GF bread, carrots, or rice!!! Very disappointed. I will also add that the people eating the normal food were less than impressed as well. The cost of this conference included the catering, and I had to pay extra to purchase a meal everyday that I could eat. Once I lose confidence in a server (no sugar in the pasta), I can't consume the food. I can't chance being ill for any period of time. But if I consume gluten, it will be a month. read more

I am so sad Ed sold his company to the new owners someone named Elizabeth, but I have received emails from a lady named Katie Burke. I ordered Thanksgiving lunch for 80 of my residents who are 55 and older and were chronically homeless. Trying to make a wonderful lunch with turkey and dressing and just knew Ed would complete the order. I received an email on Tuesday -TWO DAYS BEFORE THANKSGIVING, stating that the new owners had cancelled the order. I replied back and told them i had this order booked back in September and the said sorry, they were going out of town. They should not be able to stay in business. My order is not the only one they decided to cancel and leave the customer high and dry. read more

We used Amazing Caterers for our wedding on 10/23/15 and could not be more pleased! I had received quotes from 5 different places. Amazing Caterers not only had the best price, but the most robust menu! We had 3 different appetizers, an entree, pasta bar, salad, veggies, and bread--plenty of options! The food itself is spectacular! Often wedding dinners aren't that memorable, but so many people told us that they loved it. The pasta bar was a really unique addition--definitely a hit! When we met with Ed, we felt like we were spending time with family. He and the Amazing Caterers team made our day really special. Ed Brandt of Amazing Caterers is exactly that...amazing. He is a delight to work with. Efficient, easy going, good suggestions when one is struggling over a choice of entree. This was the first time I have used a caterer in Dallas as I typically like to cook and have handled all parties at my home myself. This time, however, I was limited on time availability for this in-home event for 40 people. The guests raved about the food. Sumptuous appetizers, tenderloin carved at the table, chicken with artichokes, a spectacular grilled vegetable platter, will rice and salad. One chef, one server and a bartender made the evening run smoothly and there was not even a used napkin anywhere to be seen following clean-up. This was the best experience EVER. They were soooooooo professional and the food, let me tell you about the food. It was DELICIOUS. We had the pasta bar. Mr Daniel was not only handsome he was fabulous. He helped us finish decorating and he prepared the food. He was truly amazing. This by far is one of the best catering companies out here in Texas. I contacted amazing caterers several weeks ago asking them to cater a thanksgiving dinner. I was given all the information, gave my meal selections and then waited to hear back from Ed. When I didn't receive the promised statement after a few weeks I contacted him again and he sent a printout of the meal choices we had made and promised to get back with me again the weekend before Thanksgiving. He did email the Saturday before thanksgiving informing me that he didn't own the company anymore and had forwarded my order and information to the women who were now running the business. I immediately called the two women and was reassured that they had my order and all my information and they would contact me for payment and final details on the Monday before Thanksgiving. Monday morning came and went and they finally contacted me Monday afternoon informing me that they had an unexpected emergency and were cancelling all of their orders for thanksgiving!! Needless to say I am extremely annoyed and unhappy with the way they have handled this situation. Their lack of planning really put our family in a bind just a few short days before the holiday. I hired Ed to do the catering for my wedding. I went with him SPECIFICALLY because he said they do not use plastic and he would bring silverware. The work order he sent me even stated in big bold letters... BRING STAINLESS!! So I provided everything but silverware for the wedding. Imagine my shock and my guests when they tried to eat the plated salads with NO silverware!!! They didn't bring it!! Luckily the venue had nasty plastic that we were able to use. Then the servers left three hours early, before the cake which we then again had no silverware!! When confronted the next day on this Ed tried to blame me!! Yet the email I could produce proved me right and he conveniently could not find the email he said he sent!! I would never use him again!! It is bad enough to make an error of that size but then to now own up to it and try to blame it on me!! Hey, I planed to spend thousands at my wedding then have no silverware!!! Ed and Chad did a fantastic job with my wedding. It was a small, informal affair. But, they treated it as if it were a large party, with great care. The food was delicious. The price was right.
