Luckily we found this spot because we had to try the viral Dubai chewy cookie. I was also craving tanghulu, which honestly motivated me to drive here even though it's a few cities away from us. I loved the grape tanghulu, it was much easier to eat. The strawberry one is good too, but I recommend eating it right away. I waited a few hours before eating the strawberry and it was melty and sticky. The cookie was pretty good. I loved the texture. A bit pricey for the size but still worth trying once. The regular one is better because the strawberry version gets a little watery from the juices.

I've passed this place so many times and I finally went here with my nieces to try the Dubai Marshmallow Chewie Cookie. The ladies who helped us were nice and you can actually ask for a cup of ice water here. The place next door makes you buy bottled water for $3+. They only had the original flavor available and it was pricy in my opinion. It was $7+ for one. For our first try, it wasn't bad. It was crunchy and chewie. Texture was typical of dubai chocolate. For the price, I don't see myself coming back here for this.

From soft serves to matcha lattes and Tanghulu, their selection is great. They also have a good variety of Dubai chocolate strawberry style items. My favorite is their Dubai chewy cookie, obsessed! Fast service, friendly staff. And the ambiance is laid back and decor is very cute.

Was at another store in area and saw this place. Not going to lie... it was the Dubai marshmallow cookie poster that got me. I really enjoy pistachio cream and kanefe. I ordered one with strawberry and one without. I also got the strawberry Tanghulu for us to try. The Dubai marshmallow treat was pretty costly and in my opinion and really not that great in pistachio flavor or worth the price. The Tanghulu was good with the light candy coating crunch and the strawberry. But the strawberries itself weren't sweet or in season. The candy coating does give it sweetness for sure, but nothing like a ripe strawberry to be honest. I would get the Tanghulu again but not the Dubai items there's kiosk ti order on even though there's multiple staff members they didn't help take my order when I asked at first. So, not sure if they just didn't want to help me or it's all only kiosk. Also, I saw the Tanghulu in the display case but it was not listed on items on kiosk so I questioned that and the they had to update the items, which also meant I had to get out of my order to get out of the screen and start over for it to show the items. That's when I asked again if I could order with them to be quicker they said just start over on the kiosk. Idk plus I was the only customer there ordering..? There's drinks as well but I didn't try any.

*** U P D A T E ***…read more It's been many years since I had a drink from Coco3. The last time I had a drink here, it was just ok. Nothing outstanding. But through the years, I would see a crowd of people every time I'd pass by. I often wondered what the hype was and what these people were ordering?! My daughter was drinking a Coco3 drink the other day and it wasn't your typical boba drink, so I asked what it was. She told me it was a Coco Crave ~ one of her favorite drinks! So last night after dinner, I decided to check out this fav drink of hers! The shop is clean, well kept, and actually pretty new since they moved into another unit in the same outdoor mall/plaza. In front, there are 2 kiosks to take your order. Pretty convenient since the staff are usually in the back making drinks. *** M Y P I C K *** COCO CRAVE ~ (coconut juice, coco cube, jade jelly, coconut meat, jelly boba, basil seed) at 25% sweetness level. This drink reminded me of the Vietnamese 3 color dessert drink! Yummy and perfectly sweetened at 25%. I realized after ordering, I could get crushed ice. For sure there will be a next time! 5/5 There are tables for those who would like to relax and have a seat while drinking their drinks. I sat down for about 5 minutes and my order was ready! Quick service! Looking over the menu, you can customize your drink and make all kinds of concoctions! Or you can pick a specialty drink with already set items. Either way, you can't go wrong! Haha I guess I've been missing out all these years. Can't wait to go back and try another drink at Coco3!

Cafe 86 is a great spot for desserts, especially if you're into Filipino inspired flavors. Ube is…read moreeverywhere on the menu, but everything feels well balanced and not overly sweet. What really stood out for me was the halo halo. Super refreshing, packed with texture, and just done right. We also tried the mais con yelo, which was fantastic. I liked that they use cornflakes instead of pinipig, it gives it a nice crunch. They have seating inside, but it's limited. Service was quick and everything came out fast. Located right in the heart of Daly City near Serramonte, it's an easy stop if you're in the area. Overall, great quality desserts and a spot that definitely delivers.

Cafe 86 has been around in other parts of the country and finally opened a location in Daly City…read more Since I knew about all the grand opening festivities, I wanted to wait a while before visiting to let the hype die down a bit. I finally went on a Tuesday afternoon and there were a few others waiting for their orders but nothing too crazy. The space itself is not too big with minimal seating. I ended up ordering their infamous Upside Down Halo Halo (regular size) to go. Upon first glance, it looked very delicious with its vibrant purple color. I also liked how I did not see a huge portion of crushed ice since I don't like all the ice filler in a typical halo halo. This version contains coconut jelly, jackfruit, boba, Frosted Flakes, flan, and a scoop of vanilla ice cream over an ube base. The toppings all worked really well with each other and overall the dessert wasn't too overly sweet. I also realized that Cafe 86 doesn't include all of the beans typically found in a halo halo, and I actually prefer this as well. I'm glad I have a Cafe 86 close enough that I can enjoy the ice cream without it melting too much during transit. I look forward to trying the other items on their menu.
