July 12th Sunday 8:35pm. VERY BAD BUSINESS. So we got there way before 9pm. Line is out the door. We stood in line outside for 15 minutes and then got inside, still took while, waited for another 10 minutes to be told when 9pm hit that they are cutting off the line. The girl emploee yells out, that if we're not serving you at the moment, we can't take you because we're closed. Unbelievable! The girl was very unprofessional! She turned away about 10 customers. That's sales lost! I hope corporate sees this and trains their employees to be more professional! read more

This Baskin Robbins store has been here in Westlake ever since I can remember ... which would be since winter of 1978 when my family moved into neighboring Broadmoor (which was actually Colma at the time). Love it here! Classic Baskin Robbins ice cream shop with the famous ice cream coolers that actually warm up the place (ironic that the freezers make it warm enough that you'll most-likely order more ice cream!), and a few tables along the other side for eating in. Service here has always been fast. I've never ordered anything beyond a scoop or two, so now I have something to work toward! :-D Again, love it here and will continue treating myself with my usual scoop of Mint Chocolate Chip. read more

Came here after doing Color Me Mine and it was a convenient location but it was a pretty dirty interior. We got a free dragon hat which was a fun thing to get as adults. The staff did let us try a bunch of different flavors which was nice and ordering was decently fast, it was just that the ice cream was just okay. Not anything crazy different, just a classic ice cream. I liked the sample flight since we got to try 4 different flavors and it was really nice to get so much ice cream + the waffle cone cookie for like $10. Baskin and Robbins is my childhood. I've been going to this location since I was a small child. It is just a solid ice cream shop with a lot of flavors and treats. I don't know why they are rated so low. I enjoy their banana split a lot. My son loves the mint chocolate chip on a sugar cone. I'll also buy a jamoca almond fudge pint to go. The service can be a little hit or miss, but never too bad. It can range from friendly to a little uninterested. But I am ok with it. The ice cream is good. read more

Ok this had happened quite often. I ordered a Large size, what I got is more like a medium, (See photo). They can obviously see it was not even filled up, they rung me up after the drink is made, so they should realize that this is not even full and should have either charge me a medium size instead or "at least" fill up the top with whip cream so it looks like it is full?!?! They didn't do neither. I ordered a large and was charged a Large, not a Medium. This is not the first time, and happened quite often, not sure if this is on purpose, but this is stingy and I should get what I paid for. This is my favorite Baskin Robbins location!! It's super convenient after shopping at westlake center. The center seems dead at times but I'll always come in to get the best customer service! The tables are always clean which is nice to have. Westlake has a lot of take out only areas so its nice to sit down after walking around. Even on hot days like today where it's busy and there were only two girls working it didn't feel like much of a wait. They got everyone's order as fast as they could!! They're very kind about trying flavors which is always a bonus with their large flavor selection. Never had issues coming here growing up. From Cotton Candy to Pistachio, Classic Rocky Road, or Cookies & Creme, to basic staples such as Chocolate and Vanilla, to fruit sorbets, everyone's taste is equally represented. You can choose a cup or cone option as well, which is typical for any ice cream shop. You can also find deals such 2 for 10 for a whole pint of ice cream to take home. Baskin also has a selection of ice cream cakes (cost around $20-30) which is one of my favorites ever whenever my birthday comes around. You can also ask the staff to customize it for you to add a greeting or a name on the cake itself. As for the service and location, the service is good from my experienfes. The times I have visited this place, staff has been very attentive and helpful. They've also given out samples which is always helpful if you're indecisive like I am. The store itself is very clean and well kept. The location might be the only con because Westlake does seem to get congested in terms of finding parking. They used to have a deal of three quarts for $21, though not sure anymore. Located inside the Westlake Shopping Center. If time and gas-money permit, I would go to the famous ice cream shops in the City. This location is just convenient, is easy to get to, and is relatively clean. The workers are friendly as well.
