The customer service is absolutely great. I was referred to this location by my contractor. I called Mike at 7:00am to see if he was open (Today is Sunday) and he said he would make himself available for me! I've been seeking Wood Vinyl flooring with a 20+ wear layer and I haven't been able to find it in 7"w as it's most popular in a large 9". My house is small so a 7" plank would be more fitting. Fortunately, Mike has a gigantic warehouse with so many options to choose from. I spent a little over an hour going through each section since I'm a very picky person. I have honestly been to 5 warehouse for flooring and this place has the most options. This one locations has all the flooring the other locations had so it's kinda a one stop shop. There is so much to choose from so I suggest giving yourself at least an hour to spare and wear sneakers. Most of the floors I chose were +$3.79persft. Need flooring, look no further. I was in need of replacing my floor and had quoted many companies. I was back and fourth on which floor install and had Mike come out for measurements a few times and I can say Mike is extremely patient, knowledgeable and kind. He never made me feel bad about taking so long to make a final decision, but when I finally decided Mike was quick! Mike ordered the floor and installed within 2 weeks. We had a great experience with Mike at Destiny Flooring. On our first visit to the store Mike explained the different types of flooring available to us and then he came by to measure our space, then we had the difficult task of picking out flooring out of hundreds of samples. Mike let us take several samples home to see how they looked in our space. On the day of installation the crew showed up promptly at 8am and what I appreciated most was that Mike was there with them, pointing out exactly what he wanted them to do with our problem areas so there would be no misunderstandings. After he left the crew got to work and they were efficient and fast! From the flooring to the baseboards; everything looks perfect. I can't thank Mike enough for his professional advice, patience, and a beautiful new floor at a fair price. BEWARE TO THE UNKNOWING CONSUMER! UN-ETHICAL BUSINESS PRACTICES PRACTICED HERE! This place deserves no stars. I'm terms of good, bad, & ugly, I only have the bad & ugly for you. THE BAD: I needed 450 sq. ft. of cork underlay for installing laminate flooring in my unit per my HOA & I called Mike who seemed nice and helpful over the phone. I told him the HOA required 1/4" cork and that I was in quite a bind and needed it immediately and he told me no problem, he had it but that he needed to retrieve it from his warehouse in City of Industry. Cool, I stopped calling around, placed and paid for the order. I go to get it, it's 3 boxes of cork, I, not carefully reading everything on the box but just asking to make sure it is what I told him I needed trusted his word and accepted what he offered. When my husband sees the material he asks me why I got 1/2" cork rather than the 1/4". I told him "Mike" said that's what I needed. My husband then asks me why the cork is not uniform - why 2 boxes of 1/4" and 1 box of 1/2". Turns out his warehouse didn't have 450 sq. ft of the 1/4" cork that I needed so Mike took it upon himself to sell me the 1/2" (which was more expensive) and to be able to get rid of the 1/4" cork, he said I should double up on the 1/4" to equal the other 1/2" cork he sold him. At this point, I asked him why he didn't tell me he didn't have the 1/4" I asked for when I called and placed my order and he tells me he did have it, he just didn't have enough and that don't worry, 1/2" is good, that's what I need! My face visibly not happy, he then tells me no problem, he can still order the 1/4" but that I needed to wait till the next week. WTH? No I can't wait now, the installers are at the unit ready to install and I had already told him I was on a time crunch. With no choice, I took what he offered. So shady. THE UGLY: On the receipt, it clearly reads "All refunds and exchanges must be done within 30 days. 25% restocking fee will be charged on all returned materials." There is almost a full box of 1/4" cork left (almost 150 sq ft). My husband offers to go return knowing how upset I was about the whole ordeal, I inform him to expect to pay a 25% restocking fee. He goes. Encounters Mike again who refuses to accept the return. Mike goes on to say that there are no returns on special orders or open boxes (It is not written anywhere on the receipt AND it wasn't a special order). When my husband returns home, I am livid at this point. I call Mike to let him know, he needs to rectify this situation, honor what his receipts say and if he doesn't, I would write a review (as I am now) letting people know the unethical business being practice there. He starts flipping out saying I'm threatening him and that he's going to sue me for defamation of his company. I tell him that I am only telling the truth, the exchange goes back and forth for quite some time and I finally decided to end the circular conversation by letting him know that I would just let my credit card company know what happen and they should be able to credit me what I am asking for based on his receipt's policy. He then blurts out how he has my name and phone number and address. I'm like "what??? Are you like trying to scare me and threaten me now"? He's like "no, no, no...I'm not saying that" but you can't try to destroy my business. Um, ok, I just hang up now. OK, so just be VERY WARY if you choose to do business there. THE END. read more

Not only did the product he have on his showroom much better than the chain stores but the price was awesome! Mike was extremely helpful in QUICKLY installing our new flooring. From visiting his shop to complete install was 4 days. He was aware we wanted the installation done right away. He ordered the material right away and began installation as soon as the flooring arrived the next day. He promised a 2 day installation and kept to his promise. His guys worked overtime to make sure the installation was completed. There we some minor cuts and tweaks that needed to be made to get flooring to fit in doorways, under doors, moldings, etc. and Mike DID NOT nickel and dime us to do these minor modifications. He also made sure to communicate with us before any modification or cut was to be made outside the scope of the flooring to make sure we were okay with any modification. That alone gives him 4 stars to his quoted price...no "hidden fees" like other contractors try to squeak in. The work is of excellent quality and his price is extremely fair (and cheaper than most of the other quotes we received) He does business honestly and his handshake is his word (hard to find these days) He will be my go to contractor for flooring. read more
