They tell me they do not recommend taking my tires to that size because it's over the 3% rule. Okay. Foreign language to me but I'm taking their word. I ask them to stop what they're doing. They place my new wheels on my 4 tires I came in with and sent me on my merry way. Let's talk about the issues. 1. This one tire was so unsafe yet no one informed me which one that supposedly is. When they were trying to sell me a tire they wouldn't feel right letting me drive off with an unsafe tire. But now it's all good right? Yeah. Ok. 2. My car is driving odd now, slightly shaking. Because they failed to tell me which tire is "unsafe", recommended a tire size that wasn't the best for my vehicle and now my vehicle is driving weird, I'm forced to take it elsewhere to have it inspected to ensure my safety. What kind of service is that?! This should have been an exciting time for me, getting new wheels for my car. Instead I'm met with upselling (I already spent over $1,000 with you, what more do you need) and a rush job apparently to get my wheels on after I called them out. What an AWFUL experience. Discount Tire used to be my go to. That trust is absolutely gone. Do better.

Tesla doesn't have an appointment to do an alignment at all 3 Service Centers until closer to September. I just got my new tires installed today and drive nearly 21,000 miles a year so I didn't want to drive for a month without getting an alignment. Thankfully this Discount Tire location was able to get me in immediately and it wasn't too far from the location where I got my tires installed. It was $200 to get an alignment done for an EV ($90 if you have a gas car) and service was excellent. The tech doing my alignment walked me through the entire process and took his time explaining everything before he did the work. He is a rockstar. I couldn't have asked for better service and was out in 30 minutes. If you need an alignment done (especially for an EV) I highly recommend this location.

Unfortunately good year discontinued that tire. However they did an awesome job recommending a different set of tires with the same features as the ones I wanted. The new ones were a little more expensive however they were able to discount them to match the discontinued tires price. They also stayed past closing to get the job done. I extremely appreciate all the help I received at this branch. I would even keep driving the extra miles to come back to this branch even though there is a closer one to me in McKinney. God bless those places that still put customer service and satisfaction over profit.

UPDATE June 2026: Two lessons today; how to use tire inflator and don't use provided tire sealant…read moreunless necessary. Different car got a nail and went flat overnight at home. Best solution was to use tire inflator and drive to shop. But also used tire sealant which puts all the oily goo inside tire making impossible to repair. Try inflation only first. So needed new tire and the others needed replacement as well. In for penny go for buck. Replaced all in 3 hours.
