I wanted to get a mani/pedi before a vacation and a friend who always rocks fabulous nails recommended this place. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and service - I went around 10:15 on a Thursday so there wasn't a wait but they have a small staff so unless you are going at an "off" time I would recommend calling and reserving a time. Both my mani and pedi were thorough and relaxing. I opted for the gel polish which was an up charge but will hopefully ensure the results last longer. I also requested a special design on my manicure and was delighted with the result. French tips also have an up charge so just be aware. I RARELY get my nails done so I don't know if the pricing is fair or competitive but I felt like the price for the services received was worth it. Everything was very clean and sanitary so that was also a huge plus that I care about when I do get my nails done. If you're looking for a new place around Oak Hills/South Austin this is definitely the best place I've been to - when I decide to get my nails done again I will absolutely be back. read more

Moved to this area and wanted to find a new nail home. Awful experience. Should have left as soon as another customer came in complaining about her nails after getting hers done. I came in as a walk in on a Thursday for just an SNS French tip manicure. I've been getting my nails done for years and this specific nail has never taken somebody over an hour to complete. The lady doing my nails took over 2 hours to complete just the base. I came in with round nails and requested to keep the style but cut down as they were grown out. Showed her a pic of what I wanted. I've been growing my natural nails out for months and had to have 4 tips put on because the lady cut too short and made them too pointy. It literally looked like I had tiny cat claws on my hand. I had to come the next day to finish the white French tip part of the manicure and still butchered it even after correcting multiple times. Wasted about 3 hours of my life for an awful manicure that ruined my natural nails. Paid full price PLUS an up charge for almond shape when that wasn't even what I wanted. They were not accommodating whatsoever even when it was obvious I was not happy and stressed throughout the entire experience. Would not recommend this place if you're not getting taken care of by either of the people listed in all the good reviews. read more

Deflection over professionalism- Four years of loyalty ended over a refusal to take responsibility. A follow-up appointment was scheduled to fix a color issue. Instead of properly removing the original polish, a new color was layered on top, leaving the nails lumpy and discolored. When this was pointed out respectfully, my mother was asked to leave rather than offered a professional correction. What's most concerning is the owner's public reply, which misrepresents the situation. There was no refusal of service--Jessica stated she couldn't redo the nails because it was late and she was tired. Rewriting events afterward and blaming the client is not how reputable businesses operate. Not a place I would recommend going at all. read more

My sister made an appointment for us to have pedicures together on a Friday before we were heading to our cousin's wedding anniversary party and unknowingly booked it for 30 minutes before they closed. They were so sweet about it and didn't even mention that it was that close to closing and we had no clue until we were walking in and saw the sign on the door! From the very start, this was a phenomenal experience. The employees here are probably the friendliest I've ever had for any type of mail service and were very thorough and engaging. I had a gel pedicure and my sister had a standard polish pedicure, and hers ended up taking about 10 minutes longer than mine, but they never rushed or made us feel bad for being there after close. They do offer beverages, and my sister enjoyed the mimosa and I had the Vietnamese Iced Coffee - both of which were good. The salon itself had plenty of pedicure and manicure stations and the massagers on the pedicure chairs were a wonderful relief after a busy week! The scrub and lotion they used smelled amazing, and they had plenty of color selections for gel and regular polish. The only minus for one star is that my big toe chipped later that same day (and I'm sure I could have gotten it fixed, but we were heading out of town and I didn't have the time) but even almost two weeks later and all of my other nails still look flawless. I did also get an ingrown toenail on that same toe, but I am prone to those if my nails aren't cut a certain way, so it wasn't a huge deal for me - I'll just say something next time. Earlier in the same week, I'd gone for a gel manicure at a different salon and had a terrible experience with the polish being uneven and streaky, weird patches, bleeding cuticles, nails at different shapes and lengths, etc. This experience was a complete turn-around and was significantly better than the other salon. Even the polish application has been night and day, as all of my gel polish from Enza Nail Salon popped off (like, literally just peeled off with no nail damage - a clear sign that the nails weren't done well) of my fingers within like a week. My sister's regular polish is still entirely intact with no chips or flaking. Seriously - that's a great pedicure!! This is a phenomenal nail salon and one my sister and I will absolutely come back here again. By far the best in-salon experience I've ever had and they also did a good job with my nails. read more

I had just moved to Austin in May and tried several different salons each time my nails chipping within a few days. Jessica does Nails that do not chip and that last three weeks and she's the only salon that I found that was able to do this as the posh more expensive place on Southwest Parkway chipped the next day! I called after work and asked if they accepted walk-ins or if it was by appointment, luckily they said I could head their way. I went in by trusting the process and seeing the reviews they had. As soon as I walked in they greeted me and sat me to get the service started, Jessica did my nails and I couldn't be happier. I went in not knowing what I wanted. I just knew my hands needed to be fixed (they were a mess). She is so nice and funny and makes you feel so comfortable. It was my first time coming in and it won't be the last. I drive by this spot every time on my way home. It's an odd location but has ample parking and great service. They do get busy so I recommend calling ahead for an appt. Service is friendly and Tracy did a great job with my gel pedicure. I don't do designs or fancy trends so didn't take a photo of my pedi. They also offer 10% of for Happy Hour (Mon-Wed or Thurs from 10a-3p). Everything was clean and a huge selection of colors! Update: I'm sorry DN, but I think I we have to break up. I hate to take a 5 star review down to 2 but I've left a frustrated and disappointed the last 3ish times I've been in. This time is was for a bday pedicure and I'm super bummed with how they turned out- more on that later: Last couple times it was colored base/french tips and a couple hearts. One of those times I left feeling stupid for requesting that the hearts are fuller like previous times and not thin and long- later I noticed things looking funky altogether. I've also had a couple jagged corners that have snagged or peeled quickly- but I keep coming back because my first handful of appointments were so good!!! This time I came in with three different choices just in case one was a sticker, too difficult etc. When even the third easiest option of a sparkly fade in peacock colors couldn't happen, I had to decide on the fly and asked for crescent moons and French tips. Trying to make it easy I Ended up doing black on white since most of the bases were already done and we were almost already at the 2 hr mark. Even this became a huge ordeal- the stamp would've worked but one of the techs smudged it with her nail so another one came to try a fix it. Ultimately I have a smudgy big toe nail design that kinda makes my nail look dirty and they're in totally different placements. I got the basic $35 pedicure with regular polish from John. He did an amazing job. The massage actually had some firm pressure to it, which seems hard to find these days. What most nail places call a "massage" doesn't really deserve the name, IMO. But John used good firm pressure in my calves, feet, and toes, and took the time to help me relax during both the scrubbing and lotions portions of the pedicure. Plus, my polish is looking perfect as I leave the salon. If the polish lasts 4 weeks or longer, this will be my new pedi spot! Coming back to try their dip manis next. I'm used to those lasting 4 weeks as well, but my current salon has me returning every 2-3 weeks...when you pay good money, the service should last! I saw Nathan. It was probably the best pedicure I've ever had. The water temp was perfect (not scalding). He was gentle and took his time. He actually fixed a soon to be ingrown toenail. (No really. So many try and make it worse.) The massage was great and my feet looked so good after. Also, I loved the half wall separating the pedi area from the manicure area. I was here about a week ago. I had gotten the SNS done and I went here because my regular nail tech at another business, was out of town. This is the 3rd time I've gone since the new ownership and I've tried to give it a chance. The most recent time I went, about a week or so ago, was the worst experience I've had thus far. I don't know the name of the woman I saw but it's not Nancy or the other gentleman that works there because both of them are lovely and have done a great job for me. I'd never seen the woman before this but what is normally an hour maybe an hour and 15 process turned into a 2 hr experience from hell. I like to get my nails done because it's the one time I have to myself to really relax and take care of myself and this was everything but relaxing. Initially, it went ok and she was sweet. But as the process went on it just worsened. Each finger on my left hand had been filed and shaped to the point of sharp, stinging, burning pain. The side of each finger where my skin touches my nail had cuts from the Emory board. She way over filed the shape on each finger and at one point it hurt so much I had to yank my hand away. I've had SNS on my nails many times and I've watched the process but the process she used was so out of the ordinary and excessive that it took much longer than it should have. At one point, I tried to speak up about the level of thickness on my nails because I wanted them to look as natural as possible and not as bulky but before I could really tell her anything she swatted my hand away and sort of snapped at me negatively. I couldn't understand what she said because she said it very quietly and quickly. I don't usually speak up during the process but at that point, I wanted to say something before it was too late and the reaction I got before I got to really tell her what I wanted, was just really upsetting and uncomfortable. The first time I went there, I had a pretty terrible result from the SNS and I called to let them know. I spoke to Nancy and she offered to fix them and she did. She did a great job and I felt better. The second time I went, I got the gentleman who works there and had a positive experience, he also did a great job. But this third time really set me off. I'm not rolling in money or have excess free time so I can't just come back here time after time and get good results and then bad, then good, then bad again and so on. I need a business I can rely on. I need consistency. I need to be able to trust that you know what you're doing. Idk if the lady I saw didn't have a lot of experience doing SNS or what but it was just a stressful process that I'm not willing to relive. I went to see my regular nail tech today at another business because I just couldn't look at them any longer in the condition they were in. (Mind you, initially the day of they looked alright but as the days went on, the color faded on the sides and the top coat was peeling off) The base coat she applied (in 4 layers) was too thick and the over filing of my nails was obvious that he said it would take a few weeks for it to grow back. He corrected everything so gently and I've never been happier. I really am not comfortable complaining but the experience I had was just so uncomfortable and painful that I felt it was necessary for future hopeful customers. I've tried to give this place a chance but the inconsistencies make me wonder if the people here are accurately trained on each type of manicure and if they are licensed. read more
