About 5 minutes later, Diane appeared and explained to me the storewide sale they were having. She pointed out many items/. I really appreciated this as several items I was interested in were 40% off! As I made my way through the store, I watched as Diane worked tirelessly in a very warm store. Evidently the air conditioning was not working properly. This did not stop her. I purchased 4 or 5 items all because of Diane. I have been in management a great many years and I can tell you, Diane is an employee that needs to be recognized. She relates to customers well and is aware of store inventory and sales. The other woman working in the store that day could learn several lessons from Diane. Well done Kirklands. I'd say Diane needs a promotion and a raise.

We were finding unique and singular items that no other store in the Phoenix Area had - and believe me, my wife and I hit every store in our desert. The extraordinary values, qualities, workmanships, styles, points of origin, assortments, manufacturers of furniture, vases, lamps, beds, living and dining, and pictures and frames and then some is totally unexpected. We've purchased from Potato Barn multiple times over the years, and when we look for additional items, they are the first we go to. Our first purchases from them were over ten years ago, and each item has withstood the test of time both in quality and endurance. One of the fantastic things about Potato Barn is that what is available today, may not be there in a month - they rotate and include new things on a regular basis. When we bought our middle eastern style wood entertainment center, we put a deposit on it, arranged for delivery, made the purchase - and to this day, that piece has never been back to the showroom. We've been happy with that and all the other products we've purchased. If your in the market for quality and uniqueness this should be your first stop.

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction and demand compensation for the mishandling of a quality custom-made bench that I consigned at My Sister's Attic. The bench was dropped off with a verbal agreement to price it at $650. Unfortunately, due to the negligence of the previous manager, who failed to properly price the piece before his departure, and the subsequent incorrect pricing by the new manager, the bench was sold for a mere $100. This pricing is not only well below the agreed-upon amount but also a blatant disregard for the value of the item and the trust placed in your store by consignors. While I understand that the contract states the store reserves the right to change prices at its discretion, this situation is a clear oversight. The bench was forgotten and priced simply to "get rid of it," as stated by the current manager. This is unacceptable and a slap in the face to a participating consignor. Additionally, the agreement was to sell the item within a two-month timeframe, with the bench being received in-store on March 13, 2025, per the contract. However, it wasn't placed on the floor until a month later, halfway through this timeframe, further diminishing the opportunity for a fair sale. It did sell right after being placed on the floor, further showcasing that the piece had merit as inventory in the store. Had I not visited the store on the day I did to inquire about it and noticed the sold sign without a price tag, I would have never received any compensation for my item. I demand that My Sister's Attic honor the original agreement set by the previous manager. It is evident that none of the items in your store are priced as egregiously low as $100, not even a nightstand. I am still waiting response from corporate. The new store manager, originally gave me an adequate solution but said corporate is refusing to honor it.
