About 5 minutes later, Diane appeared and explained to me the storewide sale they were having. She pointed out many items/. I really appreciated this as several items I was interested in were 40% off! As I made my way through the store, I watched as Diane worked tirelessly in a very warm store. Evidently the air conditioning was not working properly. This did not stop her. I purchased 4 or 5 items all because of Diane. I have been in management a great many years and I can tell you, Diane is an employee that needs to be recognized. She relates to customers well and is aware of store inventory and sales. The other woman working in the store that day could learn several lessons from Diane. Well done Kirklands. I'd say Diane needs a promotion and a raise.

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction and demand compensation for the mishandling of a quality custom-made bench that I consigned at My Sister's Attic. The bench was dropped off with a verbal agreement to price it at $650. Unfortunately, due to the negligence of the previous manager, who failed to properly price the piece before his departure, and the subsequent incorrect pricing by the new manager, the bench was sold for a mere $100. This pricing is not only well below the agreed-upon amount but also a blatant disregard for the value of the item and the trust placed in your store by consignors. While I understand that the contract states the store reserves the right to change prices at its discretion, this situation is a clear oversight. The bench was forgotten and priced simply to "get rid of it," as stated by the current manager. This is unacceptable and a slap in the face to a participating consignor. Additionally, the agreement was to sell the item within a two-month timeframe, with the bench being received in-store on March 13, 2025, per the contract. However, it wasn't placed on the floor until a month later, halfway through this timeframe, further diminishing the opportunity for a fair sale. It did sell right after being placed on the floor, further showcasing that the piece had merit as inventory in the store. Had I not visited the store on the day I did to inquire about it and noticed the sold sign without a price tag, I would have never received any compensation for my item. I demand that My Sister's Attic honor the original agreement set by the previous manager. It is evident that none of the items in your store are priced as egregiously low as $100, not even a nightstand. I am still waiting response from corporate. The new store manager, originally gave me an adequate solution but said corporate is refusing to honor it.

I would consider them more of a rustic, farmhouse with a touch of industrial style feel. If you see something you like, you may find it again (and again) in similar styles or colors but always ask the staff as they tend to know the location of the items throughout the store. We typically zone in & look at the details to ensure consistency, durability, and sturdy construction of items. We didn't have any success on this trip but also a bit disappointed with the price point for certain pieces as this was just 1 of 5 stops we made that day & similar items were priced lower. We will continue to keep them on our top spots to shop for pieces moving forward as their uniqueness is what sets them apart.

They also have a dedicated section for Arcadia Toys, which is their children's toy line. John called his delivery contact person (Vinny), who showed up at the store 10 min after I purchased my couch, and he delivered it on the spot to my house. Vinny removed my old loveseat. I no longer wanted to set up my new couch. The whole experience was fast, cost saving, and I am now a fan!
