Work included relocation of walls, replacing plumbing pipes and fixtures, replacing ceiling light fixtures, adding electrical outlets, replacing a bathroom and kitchen, new wood floors, trim casework, replacing interior doors, and renovating a fireplace. The renovation project was complex because this is a second home, and I was not on site while any work was underway. Communications and commitments during the renovation were consistent and reliable. All the design work and selection of appliances, fixtures, cabinets, tiles, floor stains, paint colors, and cabinets were completed while working remotely with the BHS design team, who provided well-thought-out options. BHS completed the condominium renovation with minimal rework while efficiently managing change orders. While working with BHS, you will be transitioning from a pre-project team, design team, project team, and on-site project leads. Tracking the details and over-communicating will be required to define on the front end what you want and, throughout the project, to ensure that you get the expected results and quality. We used KDC to renovate our Kitchen, Master Bathroom, and fix some other issues around the house that involved tiling, plumbing, drywall, etc. We first started with KDC on the kitchen, where we had them install all new countertops, and replace our cabinets, basically a whole kitchen renovation. They handled everything and had people for plumbing, tiling, painting, electrical. Everything was handled for us with minimal involvement other than picking out materials. It was one of the easiest experiences where we picked out what we wanted in their showroom and had their project manager coming to the house to review progress on a consistent basis. With how smoothly the kitchen went, we had KDC fix our guest bathroom where things went just as smooth, and then do a whole renovation of the master bathroom. Similarly, we picked out all of the materials in their showroom and the results were amazing. The quality and craftsmanship is very detailed, with new cabinets, tiling, moving different fixtures to new locations, and installation of everything flawlessly. They even alerted us to a cheaper countertop option that still met our needs. All in all, it seems like KDC worked on half the house and did some in a timely and expert way. We've recommended them to friends and happy to do so for others. It was refreshing trusting someone to do a great job with minimal supervision and we're thrilled with the results.

Service, response time, quality and pricing - all outstanding. 2/2019 A sizeable part of my master bath shower grout on the floor and walls had changed from the "Light Smoke" to WHITE. Couldn't figure it out. No amount of cleaners would fix it. On 2/2, I called Mosaic Tile in Chantilly and the most knowledgable woman, Jen, answered the phone. I had all my original receipts (yes, one of those and it has been a blessing) and described my dilemma. She knew immediately what had happened and knew that the Cement Grout Glaze Remover would fix it. She was so helpful and Mosaic Tile is fortunate she works for them. Unfortunately, driving to Chantilly from Old Town is like a full day trip. Jen struck gold again. There is also a Mosaic Tile in Alexandria, 15 minutes from me. She even went into the computer and saw they had two in inventory. Off i flew, since they closed in 30 minutes. Well, i learned WHY my grout had turned white. My lousy contractor ( who will remain unnamed becuase I still have issues with them, five years after the fact) put too much water in the grout and this caused it to discolor. Didn't surprise me they had made the mistake. Super Bowl Sunday. Time to test this out on a portion of the shower floor. I've attached a picture of my "before" floor. I waited to post this review after fully using the kitchen and bathroom for 2 months, and everything has held up great (no issues). Pricing: KBR gave us the best pricing for the quality of work done. We got estimates from Beautiful Home Services and Dream Design Construction, both of which priced similar remodels thousands of $$ higher. Our kitchen and master bathroom remodel total was around $53K for our single family home. Design: Our Designer Burak, Project Manager Hussein, and Assist PM Omar were very nice and professional. Throughout the whole project, we enjoyed working with them, and they were flexible in accommodating our requests. The KBR Manager was clear about the additional cost over runs. Quality: Our estimated project completion was 4 weeks but as with any renovation, we ran into electrical and plumbing issues (from original house) that needed to be corrected. Our actual completion time was 7.5 weeks, but KBR's team of technicians did a VERY thorough job installing new dedicated electrical lines and plumbing. You'd rather have everything done right (licensed and permits) rather than fast. Fairfax County inspectors approved all the electrical, plumbing, and mechanical work. Details: Every day the technicians would prep the work areas to protect the surrounding rooms and cleanup equipment to help keep my children and family safe. The workers arrive early and leave on time daily, and some Saturday's they asked to work to help keep on schedule. KBR sends a truck to pickup the trash and debris every week from our driveway which avoided any issues with our HOA. Tips: if you can, you should dedicate 1 indoor garage space for their team to store equipment and materials. This speeds up daily setup and clean up. Order kitchen appliances from Costco (2 year manuf. warranty + buy Square Trade Extended warranty for 3 years $99-$120). Summary: The results speak for themselves, and my wife and I are very happy with our new Kitchen and Master Bath. Thank you KBR!

They have been extending the timeliness and I am without kitchen for i don't know how many more days. They lie to the core. Soulless and Godless people. They also ask for money even before finishing the work and they don't finish the work on time. I do not want even the worst of my enemies to go through the stress I am going through with them. At the time of contract they said all the work will be finished before countertop installation and put into the contract that 95 percent of the payment should be given. But now they are saying, back splash, appliance installation, painting and final inspection will be done later. But they still want me to pay beforehand. All the other peiple i worked with took payment after the work is done, but they are the only ones who demand payment before and don't do a good job.
