Went in for a gel manicure with an acrylic overlay (meaning a thin layer of acrylic over my natural nails for strength and longer lasting mani). The ladies were friendly, greeted me as soon as I walked in. Service was pretty fast, walked in around 2-ish, left by 230-240. The technician that did my nails was very friendly. I would give 4 stars for customer service. First off, my nails were short (not excessively) and weak. She started grinding my nail bed, not painful, just to smooth out. After that, she went STRAIGHT to the acrylic. No soaking my fingers, no pushing back cuticles, basically, NO MANICURE. I probably should have said something but didn't realize this missed step until after the fact. After that, the gel polish. LOVE the color I chose, purple-ish pink. They have a wide variety of colors like any other salon (nothing special). Polish gel went on fine (did not apply base coat, which is an important step) but top coat was ALL OVER MY CUTICLES AND SKIN. If you know ANYTHING about gel polish, the polish is NOT supposed to touch anything else EXCEPT the nail bed when the polish is cured. This causes lifting. (This was actually when I realized she didn't even push back my cuticles). After she was finished, I pointed out the areas that were touching my skin and she clipped them. However, this still wasn't enough and I clipped them on my own at home. Overall, I would go back but not without micro-managing their work. (Yes, I would have to be THAT customer). The main reason I would go back is because they were polite and seemed to take criticism well AND, honestly, I have yet to find a nail salon in the area that is doing any better than this place. I have yet to see how they do a pedicure though. read more

This place is amazing!! I came here the first time because I needed my nails done and my place was busy. So I looked up a place near me and I was lead here. I'm so glad I was, the staff is amazing, the owner is a doll. They did great with my ingrowns. And they actually have conversation and laugh with you. Not to mention their prices are very good! It's a delightful place to settle down after work or a hard day. Oh by the way, they do eyebrows and eyelash extensions for a great price. read more

This was hands down the worst nail salon experience I have ever had. I had just removed my acrylics, and just wanted a gel manicure. It was local and convenient, and a friend of mine frequents this salon. I walked in and there were approximately 8 technicians sitting at their stations, half of them were eating, and the other half were just conversing. There was no urgency to assist me so I walked in further passed the reception desk. An older woman walked up to the desk and didn't even address me, she just asked "what you want today"? I replied "a gel manicure". She looked at my hands and gave me a dirty look and said "you wait". About 40 seconds later she said "you go over there" and pointed to the last station in the back, the only one that didn't have a chair, so I asked "here?" And she said "YES!" angrily. I should've walked out at that moment, but because I just wanted my already fragile nails protected, I grabbed my own chair and stayed. The technician didn't say two words to me, she just started filing my nails. She filed them so short, they look awful. I had set my purse on the ground, and while she was buffing my nails, I saw a baby cockroach running toward my purse. I quickly picked up my purse and the tech gave me a dirty look because I interrupted her work. This was thoroughly disgusting. I just wanted to leave, but allowed her to finish. No hand massage, NOTHING. She painted my nails, and when she appeared almost done and going for the clear coat, I advised her that I needed a third coat and she said "I know!". I only needed the third coat because the gel color appeared watered down and was uneven. She finished by saying "you're done", s I went to the desk to pay, while she stood there and confirmed with the tech taking my payment that she got a tip. NEVER GO HERE, it's AWFUL!!!! If I could give -5 stars I would. Don't let the great prices fool you. They charge more, and don't tell you till you are just about done. Full set is $15 plus 5$ for gel, & 2$ for coffin nail shape. 22$ great price right? Once I am almost done, I am told it's $32. Apparently the sign is pricing for short nails? Odd. Probably something you should tell your customer before YOU recommend longer nails. Then the owner had the balls to say she could cut my nails if I couldn't afford the price. That was not the point. This place does not like new clients at all! If you're not a regular don't expect the same level of service if someone comes in after you that they recognize. They will nickel and dime you "cut down $2 more" and again they won't give you the same level. Woman after me got helped sooner than I did (without appointment) just because she was getting a fill and pedicure. Never will go here again my fault for thinking all paying customers should be treated the same and helped on first come first serve. read more

You walk in and they just all stare at you. Ummm, I'm here for a service, is anyone going to greet me? It's a small hole in the wall and not updated. Only came in to get gel off my nails because I was in that area BUT if I were to pick this place on a regular basis, I wouldn't. Doesn't seem clean and happy. My sister & i went on Monday 5/31/17, they did a HORRIBLE job. I been trying to let my natural nails grow and after i did my nails Monday, i noticed my pinky looked weird. I was not sure if my nail was cracked and instead of them telling me, if they should cut or put powder on...the nail tech layered it with GEL over & over. So obviously it turned out all lumpy...after leaving there i did notice that my nail was cracked. besides this, they were all in a hurry to get out of there for a party. My sister washed her hands and right after one of the gel nails started to peel from the bottom, she told the lady ( i think she is the owner) and she just filed it down and told her it was because of her cuticles. Overall, i will never go back here. they lost a loyal customer. ooh and after my sister told her she did a horrible job, the lady started to argue with her. like WTF? anyway, i know a lot of people like going here, but everyone has different experiences. this was ours. they were unprofessional & extremely rude.
