I showed her a photo of what I had in mind, she helped pick a color ( there's a lot to choose from, bonus), she did a glitter nail as well. It looks BETTER than the pic! I'm only in the Pittsburgh area a few months a year, but while I'm here this will be where I get my nails done.

Horrible service. I got a GIFT through Groupon for a service there and they will not honor it…read more There answer is for me to now fight with Groupon to get the money redeemed. This was a GIFT, I did not purchase this groupon. One Onyx employee told me I could use the face value of the groupon for a different service and then another employee the next told me I can't use the groupon. THE SPA does not allow it. The Spa can allow anything or make an exception because it was a GIFT. I'll never go back. There are other spas close by that will get my business.

But the service that you get is the most bottom, basic service. They make conversation with you so they're very pleasant but it's low-key apparent that they really don't care that much about you they just want you in and out. I sat down at a filthy station and asked her to please clean the table; I don't want to sit down with somebody else's ground up nails that ended up all over my black clothes. I found that to be very unsanitary and a big turn off. As nice as this couple is I really feel like they could offer a better experience. I paid close to $100 for basic gel toes and nails. There are just too many other nail salons out there in which I've had much better exoerience. I just feel like at this point in time when so many people are choosing to do their nails at home and as the prices at the salons rise to keep up with high rent they could make more of an effort.

I tried…read moremultiple places and was honestly pretty disappointed until I found Nail Haus--and they exceeded every expectation I could have possibly had. I've seen Ava, Avery, and Jaime, and each of them delivers phenomenal, consistent work every single time. The quality, attention to detail, and overall execution are unmatched. Truly the best nails I've ever had in my entire life, across the board. Shape, longevity, design, and cleanliness are all flawless. The salon itself is clean, modern, and clearly up to date with techniques and trends. You can tell there's a strong emphasis on education, consistency, and professionalism throughout the entire team. I also want to give major praise to Dallas, the owner, for running such a well-organized, knowledgeable, and high-standard business. It's rare to find a place where the quality is this consistent no matter who you see, and that speaks volumes about the leadership and training behind the scenes. If you're particular about your nails and want a place that actually lives up to the hype, Nail Haus is it. I won't go anywhere else.
