The coupon is for the San Ramon location and specifies the Monday-Thursday lunch buffet deals. When we walked in around lunchtime, the lights were dimmed, there was one party eating, but otherwise it was unclear how to be seated or served. There wasn't any hostess stand nor anybody at the cashier, but after peering around for a moment we found a bell to ring. About a minute later an employee came from the back, waved at us to wait, and then reappeared later. We found it not so welcoming that there was no apology for the wait. When we asked for the lunch buffet, the employee said they didn't have one. We were pretty surprised given the mailer and upon presenting the coupon, he clarified that they didn't have the buffet yet but maybe it would start later, he wasn't sure - maybe in January? Again there was no apology or acknowlegement of the confusion. While the idea of trying lots of fusion pizza flavors drew us to Tandoori Pizza, the lack of professionalism and service, as well as integrity with the mailer about a deal that did not exist, prompted us to leave and find our lunch elsewhere.

You can imagine how excited I was to see this location is open. I ordered the same exact pizza as I usually ordered and from the beginning I noticed differences. There is a rack with multiple crusts already pressed and ready to go. I suppose this is ok, just different. Before it was pressed fresh as ordered. The white sauce looks curdled. It used to be a smooth creamy sauce. Not anymore. I was scared to even try my pizza because like I said, it looks curdled. The cheese looked the same before cooking the pizza. After I received the pizza cooked it looks very different. I don't know how to explain it. But it's like when the cheese melted it separated or something. Maybe the cheese is extra oily. I'm not sure. It's just no where like the favorite pizza I used to eat almost daily. How disappointing!!

When we asked about the pizza buffet, we were told it wasn't being offered because of Labor Day. We said we'd just try another location, and were then told that no Mountain Mike's location was running the buffet that day. That turned out to be false. We called two other locations afterward, and both confirmed they were doing the buffet as normal. Being ignored while an employee handles personal business is bad enough, but being given incorrect information rather than a simple "I'm not sure" is worse. If he didn't know, he should have said so instead of making something up. Disappointing experience, and it didn't need to go this way.

1 Star Very…read moredisappointing and concerning experience at Bamboo Garden in Dublin. I found a piece of steel wire/metal in my food, and it actually ended up in my mouth. Thankfully, I did not swallow it, but this could have caused a serious injury. What made the situation even more concerning was the way the restaurant handled it. I expected management to take the incident seriously, preserve the foreign object, and provide a clear explanation. Instead, they would not give me the piece of wire. Finding metal in food is a serious food-safety issue. I hope management investigates how this happened and takes steps to make sure it doesn't happen to another customer. I strongly not recommend that the restaurant review its food preparation and safety procedures.
