I had the J'adore 75 cocktail which had vodka, Prosecco, lychee and hibiscus served as a martini. I was nervous it would be too sweet but it was perfect. I ordered the sheet roasted cauliflower for an appetizer and had the vindaloo curry with braised lamb and asked they make it spicy. Usually when I've gone to Indian restaurants they don't make it spicy enough but Kama made it spicy! My friend had the paneer tika masala that she said was really good. Each entree came with a side of basmati rice. We also ordered garlic naan for the table that was very tasty. We went to Kama on a Saturday night so it was busy but our food came out quick. Laura surprised us with a birthday dessert for the table that was a kulfi dou ice cream that was flavored pistachio and had a blueberry chutney. I've never had that kind of ice cream before it was very unique. They also brought out lit up candles so we were able to sing Happy Birthday. This was the best Indian restaurant I've been to and I can't wait to go back!

The lamb vindaloo was my absolute favorite last time, but this time didn't compare. The flavor was good but it seemed like the whole pot of lamb vindaloo wasn't made fresh. The dish came out lukewarm and the lamb wasn't that tender. Last time the presentation was also phenomenal, but everything was lacking this time. I'm guessing since it was a Monday it was just an off day for them, but I'll give them another try soon since this was one of my fav Indian restaurants in Chi. Hope their quality will get a bit better!

We got a table right away and ordered a vegetable samosa, something we love. It came out right away and it was so delicious. They were brought out with some sauces that elevated your plate. The samosa was a bit spicy but the many flavors paired so well together. For dinner I got the chicken tikka masala and my boyfriend got the butter chicken. We added the garlic naan and rice to our plate. The chicken tikka masala was very delicious. You can taste all the different spices in the dish. I love garlic and the garlic naan did not disappoint. It has such a great garlic taste and it was perfect for dipping in here masala sauce. The butter chicken was so buttery. It tasted very similarly to the chicken tikka masala though. Not pictured was our mango lassi. My boyfriend ordered it for us and in was pleasantly surprised. It's like a mango yogurt drink. It has a velvety texture and it was very flavorful. I would definitely get it again. Ultimately, I'd love to come back and try other items in the menu.

I have been ordering from this place for a long time. When I had just moved to Chicago, this was…read moreone of the first Indian restaurants I tried. I really like their masala dosa and idli. Their sambhar is actually very good and not too watery like at some other restaurants. I also enjoy their gobi manchurian and lentils with rice. The orders are usually pretty quick on Uber Eats. The food is simple and feels like comfort food. One nice thing is that if your order has a few items, they sometimes include a free tikka pasta.

I tried the karam kick dosa, masala dosa, veg biryani, bhindi masala, kadai paneer, naan and roti. The vegetables and paneer came with sides of rice, and the biryani came with a side of raita. I liked both the dosas, but would not recommend getting them delivered because they became quite soggy. This isn't the restaurant's fault, because that does tend to happen to dosa when it's no longer piping hot. I considered putting the dosas on the stove for a few minutes or reheating them in the air fryer, but didn't end up doing it - if you do get the dosa delivered, perhaps you can try doing that to recreate the crispiness/freshness. Overall, highly recommend this place for delivery! Will definitely order again.

Star of the show would have to be the fish basant, super crispy and with a little bit of heat. The vindaloo pork belly tonkatsu was so well cooked and crispy on the outside but light on the inside. Make sure to order garlic naan on the side, we wish we ordered a second portion to take home that's how good it was. Definitely check them out, it's being added to the rotation for us.
