Fantastic towing service. We broke down in Hemet coming home from a camping trip. We were in my truck and towing a travel trailer. Tim showed up in about 15 minutes and then confirmed we needed our trailer owed home. Indeed we did. Then the owner came down with another truck. I locked my keys in my car tonight. In the Target Parking lot here in Hemet. I begain a call to AAA @ 4:06 pm. Was on perma-hold tell I discnected after about 1 hr. 30 min. Second call, perma-hold again for about 38 min. Called locksmith in town. He does not do lockouts. However, he tought me a trick about AAA. I'll call it the "backdoor method". It worked great. No lie! In less then 8 mins. of that call. Desert Towing and Tim, "call name, Zulu" arrived. I was full of Anxiety, Anger & Fear. (We all know what happen's after dark in the Target parking lot here in Hemet). He greated me with a smile and a joke. Then asked if I was ok. I explained my issue with perma-hold with AAA roadside and my axiety issues. He had me take a snap shot of the tow trucks door. Then explained; if any thing like that happens again. Call Desert Towing, explain the problem to dispatch, give them your AAA member #. They will handle the rest. Now is where, Tim "Zulu" should be called Tim "Angel". He took a minute to calm my nerve. Simply, by talking to me with zero jugement. Then offered to fallow me to my house to insure my safty. You don't find service, nor men like this. They took my car to the ford dealership for repairs. AAA used them to tow. I get to the dealer, and they told me my car was not there. They send me to another part of the dealership to see if it was there. And surprise it was not there either, I sat in the waiting room of the dealer ship for 1 1/2 hours. While they tried to find out where my car was. I got upset and walked all over the lot . I finally found my car towards the back. The tow guy just parked it with out notifying anyone that my car was there. 2 hours of my time for nothing. He just gave the keys to a service guy, he should have gone to the collision office and notified them and handed them the keys. Very disappointed read more

so on Wednesday 08/16/2023 my youngest son got in a car accident as I looked on line for a tow truck the name desert tow came up I remember them seem their trucks around town I really was in a stressful situation since my sons car was stuck in some bushes and I wanted to be with my son but I had to be there so the car can be removed when I called they promise me 45 minutes to be at the accident location here in town San Jacinto Ca I waited over an hour I am the one that called them to find out their E.T.A to my surprise they told me that they were to busy at an accident and thats priority no Idea if they were going to come to help me .that I better call another tow truck company. why they dint they call me where is the respect to the customer in need since I was also in a accident why did I have to call to find out they were not coming I hope I never need a tow truck again but if I do I will not call them nor I will recommend their service to no one. read more

My car had a flat and it was just about time to take my Mom to dialysis. She can't live without that so I was sweating bullets. Jorge came right in the nick of time. He reassured me everything would be fine. He Aired my tire up and it was no good. So he put my spare on just in time to get me and my Mom to dialysis without missing a beat. This review is specially for tow truck driver Nick. My car broke down in Hemet while I was on my way to Palm Springs and I was so lost and confused as to what to do. I called a tow truck and thankfully Nick arrived. He went above and beyond to make sure that my boyfriend and I were taken care of. The place that AAA told me I could do an overnight drop off at evidently did not have an overnight drop off. Nick went ahead and made a couple phone calls and figured it all out for us. Rather than having to pay for a hotel in Hemet for a night, Nick towed my truck to the Desert Towing lot for the night so I could take an Uber to Palm Springs. He then proceeded to tow my car to the auto shop in the morning before he got off work. My car has never broken down before so I am so thankful that Nick showed up and made the whole thing easier. I Didn't get to meet the tow truck driver who towed my car after I was in an accident because I was transported to the hospital. However, I was able to retrieve my belongings from the vehicle in their tow yard without incident and take pictures of the damage. On Monday night, 3/7/22, between 11 and 11:30 PM my next door neighbor was having her car dropped off in her driveway by Desert Towing. The driver was driving a big flatbed and the streets in our mobile home park are very narrow. He had his rig backed into her driveway and dropped the car with no trouble. As he was trying to turn his truck around to leave he backed into a small (3ft. high) decorative fence at the corner of my property. He uprooted the fence and broke the ground stakes (the fence is made of plastic). I don't think he noticed because he just drove off. I called his dispatcher and told her what happened and she said she would send him back. When he returned, he pulled up in front of my house ( I was standing on my porch because I was barefoot) he stuck his head out the window of the truck and asked me "whats the problem"? I pointed to the damaged fence and told him that he did it. His reply was "it's only plastic". He got out of the truck picked up the fence and stuck it where HE thought it was supposed to go (he was wrong) He made a few more rude remarks directed at me which resulted in me calling him an A**hole. I NEVER left my porch. He got back is his truck, backed down the street about 100 feet, leaned out the door and called me a FA**OT. The next day I called and spoke with Gloria and told her what happened and she would get back to me after she spoke with the driver. I have spent over $50 for materials to repair the fence and not counting labor. On Friday, I still had not heard from Gloria so I called her. As expected, the driver had a totally different story to tell, Desert Towing is REFUSING to pay for the damage because the driver claims I was rude to him. read more

Michael towed my Harley-Davidson today. Michael specializes in towing Harleys. He usually starts his shift at 7PM, but came EARLY because he was told I was stranded. He did not have to do that. Now THAT is putting the customer first! First rate service and very professional. And Nicole and everyone else I spoke with on the phone at Desert Towing was very professional and very helpful. Told the driver our situation and he thought it might just be a dead battery that needed to be jumped that would only cost $50. Tow was flat bed with crew cab that held the four of us plus the tow driver. Tow was prompt and driver was friendly. Through AAA. Very lucky, they were there within 5 to 10 minutes after I called AAA. I had a dead battery and the driver Andrew was very courteous and helpful. He checked with a little computer to make sure it wasn't my starter or alternator. Got it started and said I needed to get a new battery. I choose to get mine the next day so he didn't replace it that evening. He said to drive it home & let it sit running for a short while to build it back up. Very professional and kind. My fiancé and I had a really bad experience with one of the drivers of this tow company today. We are from Menifee and were on our way home when I looked out the passenger window to find a huge tow truck merging over into our lane,which in turn forced us over into the next lane. If I hadn't reacted quick enough to let my fiance know the driver would have side swiped our car. To make matters worse when we reached the next intersection he was yelling and cussing at us as if we were at fault. I find it very disturbing that a company allows their employees to act this unprofessional. They are supposed to be a AAA certified tow company. My fiancé and I are both premier members. Awful. I had never, ever had a bad experience with a tow company until I had the displeasure of dealing with this outfit. In fact, up until I had the misfortune of dealing with this company all my previous experiences had been very pleasant and the tow truck drivers had been friendly and courteous. Unfortunately, I found Desert Towing to be EXTREMELY unprofessional from the driver to the owner and the owner (good luck trying to understand his heavy accent) couldnt be any nastier. Martin is the best fix it man. My car had a flat tire. He took the wheel off and found that the rim was bent. He used a sledge hammer and bent the rim so the tire would inflate. Iytook my car into my mechanic and they said that this reapar was good and the wheel did not need to be replaced.
