my parents are in their 70's and live in a gated community. The community manager should have responded to this unethical tow. My parents took a quick restroom break before they headed out on the road. they parked the vehicle for maybe 5 - 10 minutes tops near the mail box. These people are thieves and have no integrity. They tried to tow my nieces vehicle from in front of my house while she was visiting. She was not in a red zone, and only had 2 tires in the street. My neighbor saw him about to take the vehicle and he ran to knock on my door and the guy said "go ahead, that's not gonna save them." He then ran to his truck and tried to take the vehicle without it strapping it in. My wife caught him and tried to tell him they would move it but he wouldn't. He said "it's a $140 drop fee." We asked if he accepted Zelle and they said "no, cash only", we asked them to please wait because they don't carry cash on hand, they would need time to get it, 15 minutes max. He said "they charge 280 an hour for wait time" they were also laughing and then said "now we can Zelle them the extra $140 for making to 'em wait". After getting them the $140 cash. The dispatcher contacted me to confirm details. Once confirmed the truck was enroute and beat us to the pick up. Absolutely terrible experience with this towing company. The owner was extremely rude and unprofessional, showing no interest in helping resolve the situation--just attitude and arrogance. I was caregiving with an elderly patient in a mobile home park. I was advised to park where I parked, and came out to my car gone. I called crying, and the receptionist wasn't any better--condescending and dismissive on the phone, laughing as I spoke to the supervisor, making the whole ordeal even more frustrating. If you're already dealing with a stressful situation like mine where I followed the parking directions, or (like needing a tow), the last thing you need is to be treated like an inconvenience. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. There are plenty of other towing companies out there that understand basic customer service. Alex was horrible, and the girl who answered the phone said in the back ground " I love this for you " laughing, as I'm trying to explain I was caregiving. Eventually pulled in, once they sent the driver I laughed because how " arrogant " he walked up as if I was going to be intimidated. i dislocated my shoulder, and drove my self and my five year old son to the hospital. I got taken care of and fifty feet outside the hospital my tire popped. I called anytime towing who left me to sit in a parking lot for three hours, in pain, with a hungry five year old, they finally picked me up only to drop me off at the tire shop that was closed because they took too long. when I tried to demand they take me home instead (I offered to pay) and they refused. they left me and my five year old son on the side of the road. when I called the manager he blamed me because as a single father I didn't have anyone else to watch my child while I went to the hospital. I hate these people with every fiber of my being. read more
