Dave made a concerted effort to stay in communication with me as my motorhome was disabled on the side of the road. He had to tow my 14,000 home down to the repair shop in banning. Great service! Needed a car towed that was 25 miles away. I called them and they had happen to have a driver in the area. Gave me a good deal and provided quick and friendly service. I highly recommend them. Due to some bad weather the other places I had called were taking advantage of the situation and were going to charge me more than double the price. Someone stole the catalytic converters off my van and I needed it towed to Gosch Chevrolet for repairs. I called Clark's Towing and they were on site in a short period of time. I called Clark's to have one of my cars moved. They were at my house in 20 minutes and did exactly what I wanted at a reasonable rate.

My car was wrecked. I spoke with a gentelman on the phone and he was very nice. I called back Sunday and the young lady that answered was very kind as well so I thought this would be a smooth transaction. When I came in the woman at the desk was on the phone and didn't acknowledge me the other lady in the office just said she will be right with you. The lady was then on the phone being extremely rude to whoever she was talking to so when she got off the phone she was like ugh what can I help you with. I asked to go see my car and she was just so rude. I just think she was so unprofessional and when the phone rang she didnt even say hold on she just answered it. She was so rude. read more

My car was stuck at home and needed to be towed to the repair shop. The repair shop gave me the number of the towing company they use, Clark's. I called and the young lady was friendly and helpful. The truck came in no time. He pulled my car out of the garage, onto his truck and drove to the repair shop. When we arrived at the repair shop. He unloaded my car and placed it in a parking space. When I asked for cost of service, he stated $75 dollars! I stood still for a moment. He was charging me $75 dollars to tow my car 0.1 miles! Not even half a mile, $75. I live across the street from the repair shop. I paid and made a mental note....never again. The four stars is for how friendly they were but that $75 dollars ensured I would not be a repeat customer. AAA membership starting tomorrow! read more

Well... I didn't think I'd ever wrote a review for a towing company! Nobody ever likes to get towed.. so its not really a great experience but if it has to happen call these guys! I made plans for a 3 day weekend in Palm Springs with 2 friends and my car was in the shop getting work done so I got a rental, that ended up breaking down. Sitting in the hot sun in a convertible in hot CA summer weather and Aldo from clarks towing rescued us! We trusted the Navi on our Tesla M3 to guide us to Hwy 243 - it took us, instead, onto a dirt road that quickly turned into a soft, pillowy mush. Consequently, we got stuck. Damn. That was bad. We called AAA - thinking they'd actually give a darn. After two hours they announced - only when we called - and it was almost 100F/38C outside - that NOPE - they couldn't help. Too bad. Call someone else, and OH- btw- we'll let you request reimbursement. Good grief. Really? We called the Banning PD, who transferred us to Riverside County Sheriff's office- who contacted Clark's Towing- very shortly, Steven showed up - with water (wow - a nice touch and must appreciated) - hooked up a rope to the towing hitch, and got us freed! And for a very reasonable rate, I might add! They did great- thank you. And it proved to me only one thing- AAA isn't worth having. Clark's Towing- they're the real deal. Thank you. read more

Driven Steven was arguing on phone, using profanity and complained about every aspect of my travel travel. Rushed me to release my jacks when he could clearly see that the tool broke. Towed my travel trailer 60 miles. Then parked it in the middle of the road because tow truck got stucked. When I called Dave to get another truck to move it to my land, he was rude and demanded I pay in cash for an incomplete job. He wouldn't accept my credit card and threatened to impound my trailer if I didn't bring cash in 30 minutes! The worst!! Unreliable service and unreasonable owner! read more

I had my car stolen a few weeks back and when I called the office for the information the lady was very rude and unprofessional. I have never had anything like this happen to me so I was lost. I was hoping to have easy transaction but it seemed as if it was a inconvenience for this woman to do her job. When I came in she was watching a movie and didn't notice me until the other lady in the office asked if I needed help. When picking up my car she was so rude. When the gentleman came in to help me get my belongings she just said he needs to get his stuff. He was very personable and kind I just don't understand how a business is ran with someone as rude as her in the office. I would never in my life recommend this company to anyone. Clark's Towing is a very good towing service. The first time I used them was when my van broke down on Lambs Canyon and I couldn't find anyone to go get it. Up in San Jacinto didnt service that area and down the hill didn't service that area. I was new to San Jacinto and didn't know what I was going to do. I called Clark's Towing it off the Yellow Pages and by this time it was after midnight. I was already at home and Dave, (owner) said no problem. I was surprised! Then I told him I had the keys and was in San Jacinto. Again he said: no problem. Then I told him I didn't have roadside service insurance to pay for it and it was a week before I got paid. And again he said, no problem. He came and got my keys, t tired my van, stored my van, even offered to deliver it when I had the money to pay for it. And he didn't lie to me. He kept his word and it was no problem. Through the years I moved from the Hemet area but have always made a point to look his way when I drive by. And I smile, his 2 truck business has turned out to be no problem. It has grown and he has lots of trucks and the drivers are very professional they are neat and polite, not grungy and rude. Headed to Glamis with my family and the truck gave out with a 40' toy hauler. My insurance could not find someone from the normal list of towing companies who could haul both my truck and trailer. In comes Clark's Towing to save the night. 10:00 pm and he shows up with a clean truck, service with a smile and great attitude. David (the owner) treated us great and even took extra time to place the trailer in our driveway, which is not easy given we live on a small cul-de-sac, unhooked my truck, positioned it also in the driveway and reinstalled the drive shaft to make sure I can get to the shop. None of which were expected or required of him. Exceptional customer service and a genuine desire to make sure that we were comfortable and happy thru what could have been a nightmare. Do NOT purchase a lien vehicle from this establishment. We purchased a vehicle for $600 out the door. We were told by Robb who had posted the car on an internet site that we would have 12 days to swap out the vehicle if we had any problems. We were assured by the owner of the business that the car would have no problem passing smog. Not true. After taking it to a reputable car repair it will not pass. When we took it back to Clark's towing we were told that there was nothing they could do to correct the problem. Completely in opposition to what we were told st the time of purchase. In fact, we were mocked and laughed at. They have proven to not have any concerns for their customers and in fact seem to think it's okay to belittle you once you have completed a cash sale. read more

This business is preying off of people in bad situations. I was in a car accident yesterday in which my airbags deployed. I was in a lot of pain and took an abulance to the hospital to get my injuries looked at. I had just been in a pretty serious car accident and was in pain so I decided to got to the hospital. Which gave me no ability to control what happened to the car at that time. My car was towed seven miles from the scene of the accident to the tow yard. I returned later to get the car, with my own tow driver (not from Clark's). Clark's towing charged me $225 to tow my car seven miles, and on top of that they had charged me the fifty dollar storage fee. So I had to pay $275 to get my car back. My car was only in the tow yard for four hours. I did not leave it long enough to incur the storage fee, but this business is overcharging customers so he charged me the fifty dollars anyways. This was a pretty serious accident and now I am hurt on top of being ripped off. If you are ever looking for a tow in the Hemit or San Jacinto areas do not use Clark's towing. I wish there was a rating for negative 5 stars, but since there isn't I am going with zero. read more
