I have been a few times their coffee is very watered down and not good tasting. I like weaker coffees but not sure what is up with these drinks. The servers were nice enough. I ordered a Croissant sandwich which was okay but nothing to write home about. Drink service was too fast which makes me thing they are premade and the sandwich service was too slow. It took ten minutes to get to me. I might go back to try other drinks not sure if they are all watery tasting or just the one I chose. NO COFFEE AND NO SUGAR!!! How can a coffee shop have no coffee and no sugar???? My boyfriend's drink, which was made in front of us, wasn't even warm. The lady put Sweet N Low in our drink instead of sugar which took a total of 38 minutes. Also, the girl approached us and asked what we wanted and there were absolutely no menus. Was craving for a Dutch Brother's coffee and remembered that this opened up nearby, so decided to give it a try. The exterior and menu look similar to that of Dutch Brother's and sports two drive thrus going two different directions, which I thought was efficient. Let the cashier/barista know it was my first time and if he could recommend me something based on my preferences in coffee. I ended up grabbing an Iced Talon which is an iced coffee drink with Hazelnut, Vanilla and Chocolate. Tasted it and was actually pleased with the drink, though definitely on the sweet side. If they make drinks like Dutch, it is safe to assume that the chocolate comes from chocolate milk. The drink was creamy, sweet and portion size is well for the price. However, after chugging down my drink I can say that the coffee lacks in caffeine which means my day was not as productive without my vice. For those with a sweet tooth, you'd probably love it here! Definitely sweet, but without the buzz. The service is pretty similar to that of Dutch, drive-thru isn't too quick but gets going and the staff isn't overly chirpy (which can be a good thing when you're yet to be caffeinated). The guy who helped me was friendly and gave a good suggestion based on preferences and made my drink quickly. Prices here are the same as Dutch, do use Square for credit purchases and has a stamp card. Pretty good drink this time around, but would like to try another drink to back up this review. it's freaking awful. I ordered a dirty chai with almond milk and went and sat down with friends. They asked me if I liked it at first and the first drink was good and after that I was drinking it and it tasted awful. I asked if they could remake it and change it to just an iced coffee because i paid 7 dollars for a drink I didn't even like. a the lady was really rude and said i had "waited too long to ask" and it was literally 10 minutes. I am unhappy and wouldn't recommend to a friend. I did not state to two of your staff that I liked it, I had my back turned. My friends might have said that their drinks were good but I did not. I sat there and tried to like it. I didn't want to be that person. It was not 30 minutes either, it was 15. The walk up window was closed so I was sure how to approach it, I also didn't see anyone to say anything to (your workers must have been in the back). I payed 7 dollars for a drink that probably costs you 3 to make. I'm not sure how you keep your business running if that's how you treat people. I work in customer service and the way you keep open is if you have people keep coming in. I've never experienced customer service this poor. Update: Unfortunately I have to say that the customer service has gone way downhill. My mother ordered a large drink but the barista made her a small. They were very rude in the way that they informed us that it was going to be an additional $1.32. It would have been fine to have to pay the extra, but their attitudes were not pleasant, especially when the error was on their part. The drinks were subpar as well, they were not mixed well. We will probably be looking for another coffee spot to frequent. We are regulars here at Desert Eagle since moving here to AZ from Alaska (by way of Portland.) The staff is always super friendly and even if there's a long line of people, you get your drink pretty quickly. I definitely miss some of the baristas who have since left Desert Eagle, and the taste of the drinks can vary from barista to barista, but overall this is a great place to stop for coffee, smoothies or Italian sodas. read more

I have been coming here for a while. I always stop by here at least once a day when I visit Arizona to see my family. I have not had a bad experience up until this trip. I have already stopped by here three times, hoping that maybe it was just who was working there or something, but all three times have been terrible. I get the same coffee there, and it has tasted different every time. The coffee also tastes bitter and burnt. It makes me sad because this was my favorite coffee place to come to, but the inconsistency and burnt coffee don't justify me coming here and spending $7 for a coffee. One of the best things about this coffee place is that it is open 24/7. They themed drinks which can be confusing at first but you get used to them pretty quickly. I really like blended coffee and they certainly deliver that! They have a two way drive though and a walk up window for ordering. I haven't seen super long lines, which I like, because I can just get in and out. Another great thing is that the large is actually large. The employees are nice and are always smiling. I would guess that they take pride in what they are doing even though it's just a coffee shop. I like that I can text or email my receipt to myself instead of getting a printed copy. I feel like I need to share my experiences while working here. I no longer work here and haven't for awhile but this place is vile. I had just started working and we had a shipment of product came in cups, dome lids, ect. I had dropped the cups and some dome lids on the ground and I tossed them in the trash and she came up behind me and pulled them out of the trash and said "why did you toss these?". I replied " they fell on the ground". She says "that's wasting product" then proceeded to put the now dirty cups and dome lids in the sanitary sink to be washed and used again. Also they as in my co workers at that time had never used the sink unless it was on nights we had events. I went one Saturday night to Desert Eagle to get some coffee with my friends. I ordered a pretty simple drink just a large black coffee!! The employee almost kind of struggled to brew a pot of coffee for me.. not really sure why they didn't have any made already.. I got my coffee and waited for it to cool down and it was actually terrible... I don't really know how a "coffee shop" can't make a decent cup of coffee but whatever. I am so excited to have this gem right up the street from my new college. If you like sweet coffee, then hit this place up! The building has bold colors that draw you in. The drive thru has 2 sides but it's not your typical drive-thru. Instead of a sliding window, it's a sliding glass door. The menu is on par with Dutch Bros but they offer a few different items. For one, they have white coffee which is a super concentrated version of your typical cup of Jo. You can also get peanut butter added to your coffee which is one of my favorite staple in life. My go to is the grand canyon every time!! It is the perfect blend of caramel, chocolate, peanut buttery goodness. They are pretty quick with pumping orders out but I did notice that we weren't offered a rewards card until after we had left. I saw some pictures on here that other people were given one but the last 3 visits that I have come, I was never given one. They are pretty friendly but not on par with what you would expect from their competitor. I will be reporting this location to the Better Business Bureau regarding the way they treat employees and failure to maintain proper cleaning guidelines. I don't know WHO the heck is running this place or who the general manager is but they have no clue what the hell they're doing. Are they even qualified to run a business? This is one of the worst places I've been to. The turnover rate must be insane as I do not see the same employee at this location for longer than a month or two. All of the best workers I've come across have left this location.. wonder why?? I've heard stories from people that work there that they're treated unfairly depending on their political views and are made fun of in the work place which is workplace harassment and ILLEGAL. There's an odd trend of white women working there for the most part. Why isn't there more men or people of color? Makes you wonder and it lines up with the sexist and racism claims! If the owner reads these, please get someone that's actually qualified to run this place because right now it's a dump! I'm sending everything I know to the BBB and I've spoken to multiple employees and ex employees about this place. Stay far away from this shit hole. The employees are not appreciated and it shows!
