I had never gone through major remodel or worked with a designer before and was unsure of the process. I researched and spoke with several designers. When talking with Carla's A Classic Design, what stuck with me was that right away they showed genuine excitement and great vision around the possibilities. And they were firm, but polite, about the existing design elements that had to go. The renovation included a full kitchen, two bathrooms and a mud room. Angie and team asked me a lot of questions about my tastes, listened to my ideas and brought back a vision that was awesome! They did such a great job of ensuring the design was something that I would love. The result is that they gave me such a beautiful place, one that I couldn't imagine getting to on my own, but it feels 100% mine and I enjoy it every day! We loved the work Carla and Angie provided so much that we hired them again to do the complete design for our vacation home. The sales lady working named Lisa, kept eyeing us with a sour pucker look on her face. When I realized it, I asked her "oh, I'm sorry, are you closed right now"?? She replies..coldly "yes". I looked at the time.. 6:50. So, I took advantage of the 10 minutes till the actual closing time of 7 because I wanted to stock up on their Ahhhh-mazing candles and it was my daughter's first time there. I rushed to the candle section scanning for my treasured candles. We overheard her loudly whispering her complaints to a young man that I assumed was a stalker for the store. At that point, I, sadly, put the 4 candles back down on the shelf because of the outward and blatant rudeness of this employee, got the best of me. This treatment to a loyal and repeat customer as myself, was absolutely unacceptable for me to ignore. I also needed my 22 year old daughter to see that, NOBODY deserves to be treated like that and still buy from that store. As I passed by the register, I asked her name. She proceeded to look at me up and down.. and responded "Lisa". (Like I was the rude one). I told her she was INCREDIBLY rude. And instead of apologizing or back tracking, she gave a quick sarcastic chuckle and looked at the young man with an entitled "can-you-believe-this" vibe. I walked out very upset that this..actually just happened!! I am leaving this review, not on the store itself, but because of the entrusted employee that is supposed to represent the goodness of "My Favorite Things" business. I called the owner and left a message to speak with her. Still waiting to hear back . I'm a business owner myself that, also depends on the public consumer and word of mouth. The owners have every right to know who is the face of their business when customers like myself walk in the door. I hope this doesn't happen to another happy and excited customer that was only wanting to stock up on some candles. I'll have to look elsewhere, unfortunately.. I'm sorry Lisza (THE OWNER). I will 100% remove this if you hopefully call me back, just to ensure you're aware of the occurrence in your store. And this employee isn't able to continue treating people like this.

Great customer service!…read more Bought deck stain from them last year, went back this year to buy the same stain and was told it had been discontinued. I was so disappointed! But they looked in their computer and learned there were 4 gallons at another of their stores. The employee called to verify and was told that they didn't actually have any; he told a coworker he didn't trust the person that answered the phone so the coworker called back and spoke to another person at the other store. They spent 15-20 minutes and were finally able to get someone at the other store to confirm they did in fact have 4 gallons! They arranged to have it delivered to this store for me to pick up the next day. The second employee who helped me then also took time to advise me on what to do the next time we need to stain seeing as ours is now discontinued. He referred me to a great product based on our priorities for the stain being as "colorless" as possible (to allow the beautiful, natural redwood color to show through) and sent me home with a brochure to keep as a reference. I sincerely appreciated the effort both employees made to help me out, and for trusting their instinct about misinformation when they originally called the other store.

At Home is basically a mixture of a Michales, World Market, Pier 1, and Bed,Bath, and Beyond all rolled into one. Seasonal decor is up located at the front of the store while bigger furniture pieces are in the back. For smaller items, you do have to wander around a bit as things are everywhere in this big space. This is probably intentional, but I do prefer a clearly labeled and organized store. Most of the furniture pieces are already assembled, which can be amazing for those of us who are done assembling furniture with Allen wrenches for the rest of our lives. The store employees are very friendly and ready to help locate items as well as carry the heavier items up to the front for checkout. At checkout, make sure to sign up for At Home perks and score yourself a discount coupon on your next visit. Prices are pretty comparable to other stores that offer similar items.

It was difficult to find anyone to help me, but when I did, he was very helpful. Almost everything I bought was summer stuff on clearance. A lot of summer and garden stuff is NOT on clearance. Also weird, as I write this in early November. I didn't really need two adorable garden gnomes, but I wanted them. Alas, not on clearance, and neither was the large grey resin alligator. I probably would have bought it at $40, but definitely not at $80. Silly impulses can only go so far. $80 is too far for me. Hangers are well priced, will go back and get them another time. It's always the ugliest patio cushions that go on sale. Oh well. Some patio umbrellas are on clearance, others are not. Also weird. Maybe some patterns are temporary and others permanent stock.

The staff is very helpful in discussing our needs and helping us find the right products, providing interior design guidance as needed. We keep coming back because of the high quality and unique items we find there. Every time we browse the showroom floor, we find treasures that we just can't pass up. We desire a distinctly southwestern style, and D'Amore has had just what we need, every time. We have been frequenting D'Amore Interiors since they were located on the I-70 Frontage on the West side of Denver. I guess that must be close to two decades! When they moved to their current location, we found them promptly, as we needed some leather dining room chairs! If you want to replace the high pressure furniture shopping routine for a great furniture shopping experience, including honest staff and prices, and fine, unique pieces, I highly recommend D'Amore Interiors.
