I went to the Christmas Market last Saturday. The Polish Pottery people were there and directed me…read moreto the store after I told them I was looking for a sugar bowl. My friends and I walked in and our jaws dropped. Honestly, this is a dish-lover's heaven. Thousands of pieces of absolutely beautiful pottery. Even the teenager, who came because he HAD TO, commented that he could have spent hours looking at everything (while plugged into his ipod, of course). I ended up buying a bowl for the Christmas grab bag at work and...a gorgeous sugar bowl. I'm at the age where I'm getting rid of more things than I'm buying, but I think I would like to live out the golden years surrounded by this beautiful pottery. Also, as others have commented, the people who work there are really nice. We happened upon a 40% off sale because it was Small Business Saturday, which made me want to go more crazy, but it was the end of the month and I couldn't afford crazy.

I walked in hoping to get a few housewarming gifts and I just couldn't bring myself to spend over $100 per item. I'm not exactly sure who can afford to buy things from this store, but the sticker shock was real. The name of the store has the word "outlet "in it, so I assumed it would be somewhat reasonable in its pricing. Honestly, you are better off buying from a local potters guild in Denver.

One had previous sent me a supposedly new item that clearly wasn't with accompanying sketchy information, so they were a hard no. The second had an error on their site so actually didn't have it. That left Chef's Corner. Took a bit for me to pull the trigger but their well organized site and fantastic Yelp reviews convinced me, along with a generous first purchase discount. I have to applaud them for being prompt to respond to inquiries, and their willingness to address a shipping challenge was truly a blessing. I bundled several items and everything arrived sooner than expected and in flawless condition. When I was setting up my table it caused me to look harder at a piece I recently ordered direct from Le Creuset and I discovered a flaw, (already proving a hassle to rectify that) so going forward I would absolutely order from Chefs Corner instead of direct from manufacturer. This company is unparalleled in a lot of respects in comparison to a lot of others selling the only brand of cookware I have interest in-Le Creuset. Well worth trusting in and shopping with them via their beautiful site. Big time kudos!

She was smart, welcoming and knowledgeable - she led me directly to the sofa I came in to see, and explained about different fabric options, including custom. She was able to very quickly look up which fabrics could or could not go on the sectional I am interested in. When one of the colors wasn't available, she found an almost identical shade of olive green and gave me the swatch to take home, in addition to 3 others I had asked for. Emma was able to tell me about the financing options available to me, which is an important consideration for this purchase. Another store associate, Meredith Luttrell, checked in with me as I was analyzing the dimensions chart for the Aris sofa, which was perfect timing, because I needed to know if the longer side could be ordered to be on the left rather than the right - because otherwise, it won't fit in my space. (It can.) She was friendly and knew all about the different options available. The store was impeccably clean, and staged beautifully. Both associates let me wander and peruse at my own pace; there was zero pushiness or pressure to buy right away. I always take time to "let things marinate" when I make a large purchase, and I appreciated that they gave me the option to take home swatches and "see how they look in your home." I appreciate you both and look forward to working with you soon!

There's so much to love in this store. They have a ton of fragrances and decorations for the home, body care products, ergonomic products, and of course my favorite section, the international foods. They had both a travel size and a full size jar of lavender honey, which is something I've been looking for for years, so I had to get it. I also found this cute little teeny tiny travel-size bottle of Tajin (Because no cucumber slice, mango slice, or pineapple chunk is complete without it!), and some international snack foods that I have been struggling to find back on the East Coast. I left for the few other things as well but these are my favorites! The staff were really patient as we made our final selections and headed towards the register. They could have rushed us out, but instead they just started cleaning up and as soon as we noticed, we immediately made our way to check out. The cashier was very friendly and kind, which was the capstone on an already fantastic shopping experience. I wish we had more time to shop, but I think our wallets (as well as my limited suitcase space) agree that it was just enough.

This makes it a long visit :) And my wallet doesn't like it either. The holiday gifts and stocking stuffers you can get here are endless. Something for everyone. I bought some stocking stuffers and the Christmas crackers which you pull the ends and there's toys inside. The variety in those was mind boggling. There's racers, cat toys, the standard paper crowns and trinkets, and even a make your own. I wanted to do that but it's expensive for just the kit. Ended up with a set that has bingo in it so we can play that after pulling the crackers. The cashier was polite and they have a rewards program if you shop here a lot. Parking in shared lot. Do come and check them out for unique items from all over the world.
