The first time I went I couldn't find a certain old classic vinyl album. I asked and he went through his overstock and found it quickly. While I browsed the well organized store, I noticed a special edition of a favorite record and bought it. Recently I visited again and discovered a whole other area where the have old albums in fairly good condition for only a few dollars. They have tons of old game systems and classic games for NES, SNES, Genesis, Wii, 360 and PS2/3. It's a treasure trove for game nerds and you will go in and just feel overwhelmed by how much amazing nostalgia is in there. And the staff is super friendly. You know they have the same conversations every day but they always make it seem fresh. Derek is definitely an example of an awesome employee and an asset to the store. Owner is super friendly and helpful. It's two floors of comics and collectibles, and we spent a good hour there exploring (great selection)! The basement is horror-themed and I would NOT wanna be trapped down there at night with the lights down low or off....very creepy! Lots of creative horrific decor from decaying skeletal figures to crazy clowns (the worst) to sofa chairs you'd think twice about sitting on. Every square inch is carefully thought out. Dollar comics and used graphic novels downstairs, found a couple Star Wars ones for $2-3 that we picked up for a friend's 10-year-old. While the clearance shelves, vinyl section, and tech books were limited, there was a sizable amount of teen, pre-teen and children's books, plus fun merchandise and toys, especially for Harry Potter fans (there was quite a bit of it). I love bookstores and could spend hours browsing but this location was missing one thing I really like and that is a nice coffee spot. I usually like to grab a cup of joe and relax while browsing, so that was a bit of a bummer. Definitely recommend this location for any type of bookworm.
