Occasionally, a candle or two. This time, I had an appointment with Tom Parks, an astrologer. Tim is very good. I had a lot of questions. He was able to answer many of them, and gave me some pertinent advice. One of the charts that he showed me was particularly interesting. Making the appointment was easy, and the staff was helpful and kind. As was Tom. This is a fun store. Let my start by saying Kor is the most genuine and considerate person ever! Traveling from LA I had to stop by with my girlfriend and we ended up purchasing (between the two of us) an awesome smoking herb mixture, incense, a wind chime, a few books, rings, and earrings! Kor was such a sweetheart throughout this whole process. Once you purchase any jewelry (I'm assuming they do this for crystals too) they leave it in a bowl of cleansing/protection salt to ward off any and all energies that may have been carried/transferred by other beings. It's the little things for me. Growing up my mother always told me to protect my energy so this meant a lot to me as a spiritual being myself. I also found out after I left (via Yelp review) that you're also able to make your own oil mixture- how insanely cool is that?! I've never been to a Crystal shop that had all these amazing amenities! Towards the end of my trip, I realized I lost my debit card, the last place where I had it was Herbs & Art! I knew I HAD to go back to make my own oil mixture so on my last day in Denver I made my way. Walking past Kor, they immediately asked if I found my card and to my surprise they told me they even tried finding me on Facebook! (Talk about customer care and consideration!!!!) After returning from my trip I decided to log into Facebook, only to find I received a missed call from Kor! Truly truly truly one of the most genuine people to walk on this earth. I would have preferred to just left a description about my visit, but apparently you have to also rate the experience. This time, it was a 1. My own practice has been one of diligent study and practice for many years and recently i decided to add a new fold to it. This required a certain type of incense censer. I looked over their whole apparent collection but didnt find what i was looking. I waited for the young lady in the herb department to finish with another customer and then approached her. I asked "Is that whole area over there (i motioned with my hand) all the censers you have?" She replied "i dont know what youre talking about" I made a cupping motion with my hand and said "larger incense burners" She waved in that direction and said they were over there. Completely dismissed. She turned away. Many people come to places like this to get implements they are using for serious spiritual work..and to be dismissed was actually a little hurtful. She could have asked "what are you needing a large one for?" Or "is there a specific type youre needing?" Or any number of things to be present with a paying customer who was looking for something important. Today way a real bummer. I will probably not return and will not recommend Herbs and Arts to other practitioners i know. read more

I traveled quite a distance from Washington state. Throughout my magical journey through out Colorado I wanted to find the perfect ring. It was extremely hard to get help. Very sanitized shop. There was one darker hair gal that really disregarded me and blew me off. I found the ring for me. But her energy she gave off left me shaking and I had to tell other people I needed to be rung up to leave because it was too much. Empaths walk into this store, be kind to everyone. Sage yourself, palo yourself, I totally get everyone has a off day but it was just darkness she gave to me. There was a gentleman that was extremely friendly and knowledgeable there too. I am still a little questioning of readings, but when one of my friends told me this was the place to go, I tried it out. So so good. The lady was able to state a lot of things about me that I hadn't even mentioned, nor were things I could see someone picking up from the way I carried myself or was dressed.
