I am just getting back into my witchy things and I can tell whoever's working at the herb counter what I'm doing and what else they recommend, they are very knowledgeable and kind and I trust them to just throw whatever into my basket. I spend too much, so I can't come in often (I do get like 30 things) but it's walkable for me and I trust I'll always leave happy and confident(:

I love this metaphysical shop in Denver. They have an amazing selection of incense and herbs. I also love their bookstore. I buy my candles from here too. They have all different sizes. They're always helpful when you're looking for something specific. I've also had them make me a customized oil, which was a fun experience and the oil spelled amazing and helped me through a challenging life transition. I just love this place!

Sweet little amethyst rings I purchased for a friend and I!

Let my start by saying Kor is the most genuine and considerate person ever! Traveling from LA I had to stop by with my girlfriend and we ended up purchasing (between the two of us) an awesome smoking herb mixture, incense, a wind chime, a few books, rings, and earrings! Kor was such a sweetheart throughout this whole process. Once you purchase any jewelry (I'm assuming they do this for crystals too) they leave it in a bowl of cleansing/protection salt to ward off any and all energies that may have been carried/transferred by other beings. It's the little things for me. Growing up my mother always told me to protect my energy so this meant a lot to me as a spiritual being myself. I also found out after I left (via Yelp review) that you're also able to make your own oil mixture- how insanely cool is that?! I've never been to a Crystal shop that had all these amazing amenities! Towards the end of my trip, I realized I lost my debit card, the last place where I had it was Herbs & Art! I knew I HAD to go back to make my own oil mixture so on my last day in Denver I made my way. Walking past Kor, they immediately asked if I found my card and to my surprise they told me they even tried finding me on Facebook! (Talk about customer care and consideration!!!!) After returning from my trip I decided to log into Facebook, only to find I received a missed call from Kor! Truly truly truly one of the most genuine people to walk on this earth. I said it then, but I'll say it again in hopes of them reading this very review- I hope to cross paths with them again! Beyond my immense rave about Kor, this shop is truly something special. These people truly do care, and are extremely knowledgeable about the products they have, not your typical crystal shop- time truly moved at a different pace when I was here.

To respond to Dianne F.'s reply: "The person you described as Mr. Mask comes from a highly attuned…read morespiritual family, so I'm sad to see you describe him in the way you did." Just because a person comes from a "highly attuned spiritual family" doesn't mean they're also highly spiritually attuned -- that's like saying "she comes from a highly musical family" but she can't carry a tune or keep the beat. (I myself come from an *extremely* Christian family -- Bible Belt! -- but I have since learned the truth about that religion and am no longer the slightest bit Christian nor will I ever be again.) As I said, both my husband and I are *extremely* intuitive and can sense people's energy, and the energy we get from this man is "used car salesman" with not a shred of spirituality. In any case, his pushy car-salesman attitude was the real issue. That said, my husband and I did stop by the Youngfield store a couple days ago, and although we didn't encounter "Mr Mask" (and mask or not, the attitude was the problem) the lady at the register was also very "car-lot sales-y", listing off all the things on sale, the readings going on that day, etc. While some might find that helpful, we found it rather off-putting, as we had come in for a specific purpose, not a 3-minute sales pitch. There is nothing wrong with welcoming customers in and saying, "If you need any help just let us know." (Ashley at the 44th Ave location got this right, every time!) But the pushy attitude we've repeatedly encountered makes us reluctant to shop here.

The vibes in this place is waaaayy off! Honestly do not come here. I'm a woman of color and the…read moremoment I walked in I felt negativity. I was followed around by three different employees constantly asking me if I needed help and staring me down. Even if I look at the situation differently they don't even allow people the space, freedom or even privacy to choose what they need themselves or the chance to ask for help if they need it. Instead they all hound you down like you're in a clothing department store and make you feel uncomfortable. Especially the guy working there with the gray/white hair was orchestrating all of the employees around. Another reviewer mentioned this and yes there is a strong atmosphere of intolerance, paranoia, judgement and deeper under lining issues. I was standing in line behind a gentleman and when it was my turn at the counter, the guy with the gray/white hair told the lady working the counter to leave the counter and told another lady to come check me out which was odd and he had a very nasty look on his face. Then the lady at the counter asked me if I had a membership and I said no, She then says "ok don't worry we are not pushy" and then proceeds to laugh and say "at least I don't think so". They know exactly what they are doing. If a spiritual store is worried about people stealing or whatever then they you are NOT the real deal and it is a reflection of who they are and what they are actually doing. If you are alarmed or uncomfortable by a women of color coming into your shop while your shop is named Goddess/Isis you should NOT be in business! This place is not sacred or safe. Buy your stuff online or go to a place with integrity, a place that has respect and honors spirituality and people, all people. Avoid this place and do not support this business.

I must have walked by 5x previously before ever getting the chance to check out inside but it finally happened! From the outside, you can tell it's a happy place - colorful yarn creations and dried herb and flower bundles and disco balls by the windows let you know you're about to have a good time. I loved how positive and helpful everyone was inside. Even if it's not for you, it's great for understanding your astrology- and crystal-minded friends, and get cute gifts for them (and you!) at the same time.
