Found this shop by total chance & the reviews online spoke pretty highly & totally don't regret walking here at all & giving them a chance! From the moment you walk in you're greeted by super friendly staff & the owner was present when I visited, his name is Tim & he was super sweet & talkative. He helped me learn a thing or two about the gems & crystals in the shop, very open person who makes learning & viewing the products in the store enjoyable. Haven't meant such friendly workers in a crystal shop in a long while, so this place was a great change of pace! Prices are very fair here as well & they have quite literally any & everything possible in here from a great range in earring options to rings, crystals, chains... you name it they probably have it! Very clean store as well with great vibes, will be coming back and I look forward to making this my local go-to gem store now!

The man running this store is so kind. i've been coming here for years and I always feel better just walking in the shop. Also... It looks so good after the remodel and everything got moved around. Everything is very easy to see and they are so helpful with making sure that you not only get what you're looking for but what your spirit needs. I got a beautiful crystal today for a great price. There were so many options to choose from but I had to pick this crystal. My sister wanted me to make it into a mini pokémon themed landscape. Yay

SOO HAPPY WE STUMBLED UPON THIS PLACE! They were so helpful, informative, & welcoming-- truly bringing the uplifting energy that you would hope to find at a place like this! Sarah and Adela make this shop super special, 10/10 recommend you swing by if/when you're in Denver!

From the outside, you can tell it's a happy place - colorful yarn creations and dried herb and flower bundles and disco balls by the windows let you know you're about to have a good time. I loved how positive and helpful everyone was inside. They quoted me $1500-$2500 what another jeweler around the corner quoted me $500-$700 for. While the 2 women who helped me were mostly pleasant, it felt like 2 semi-amateurs giving me an absurd quote for a "pre-existing" setting. When they mentioned the jeweler using the cad program, they told me that to set each stone is $100. I find this crazy given the quote from the place we visited after this. They also recommended I bring more gold in as trade when the other jeweler said the gold from my original ring && 1 other was more than sufficient to have my new ring made. Lastly, what the biggest standout was for me on service was the second jeweler I visited was very professional & even came down from his work space to look at my stones w/me as. As I was explaining what I wanted, he was able to sketch out EXACTLY what I wanted...not attempting to put it in a preexisting design. All in all, it felt like this jewelry store was more into the business of selling pieces rather than making. I'm giving 1 stars because of the absurd amount I was quoted, the lack of care for making a custom piece (not meeting w/the jeweler) & the disinterest felt by both women to work w/us. If you want a great designer who seems to really care, visit Doug at Pierret Designs. You won't be disappointed, he's been in the business for 50 years & you can certainly tell.

What an incredible rock and gemstone place this is. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was how wonderful it smelled. The incense they were burning was incredible. They have an incredible selection and the prices were very reasonable. I spent about 45 minutes in the store and enjoyed every second of it. I will be returning very soon to pick up some other items. They have an "okay" selection of gems/crystals, but they're way overpriced. Only recently have I gotten into making my own knitting stitch markers, which require beads, wire, tools, etc. I checked here for a 1-Step Looper; nope, sold out. Back to Amazon I go. Beads seem outrageously overpriced, so it's rare I buy any beads here. Yesterday my husband and I went in to look at some of the crystals/rocks they have, and my husband asked about a particular stone of which they had a couple spheres and an egg-shape. The very hippie older man had no idea what the stone was, so he asked the only other employee working that day, but she didn't know either. She "thought" it was "Tarzanite, from Peru." One of the spheres had a sticker that said Peru, but no other information was available. Three of us searching on Google turned up nothing, except some photos of "Tarzanite" (which the search usually changed to "Tanzanite," which was clearly not this stone), but the photos didn't match the stone we were looking at. Not very helpful if you're selling a stone but don't even know what it is. Meanwhile, I was browsing around the shop and the older hippie man kept aggressively trying to sell me on various things, without even asking what I might be looking for or what type of project I was working on. I'd already told him I was just browsing, but he kept pointing out things like, "This wall is our larger-hole beads!" and stuff like that, when I have no interest in "larger hole beads" (as I said, I occasionally make myself knitting stitch markers, which have to be SMALL and lightweight, otherwise they will be too heavy and create hand strain). I don't make jewelry, so nearly everything he was pointing out -- i.e. aggressively trying to sell me -- was of no interest or use to me whatsoever. The hippie vibe was a bit too much for me, though some people may like that. Also, the shop reeked of strong incense -- both my husband and I are highly allergic to fragrances/smells, so we couldn't stay long. Why don't shops realize that some people cannot tolerate strong smells? They can even set off asthma attacks in some asthmatics (scents are banned on Montreal metro trains for that reason), and for others of us they can trigger severe migraines that last for days. At least neither of the employees were wearing masks, which was a relief. (I am autistic and have mask trauma from childhood, so those still wearing masks in 2024 I cannot deal with and have to take my business elsewhere.) In the end, we left the shop without buying anything and it will be a while before we go back, if ever. p.s. My husband took a photo of the sphere he was interested in and we went back to Mountain Mineral Market on Kipling, to ask Benjamin, who has a degree in geology, if he knew what it was. The photo wasn't quite enough to identify it, but he said it was definitely *not* "Tarzanite".

Just because a person comes from a "highly attuned spiritual family" doesn't mean they're also highly spiritually attuned -- that's like saying "she comes from a highly musical family" but she can't carry a tune or keep the beat. (I myself come from an *extremely* Christian family -- Bible Belt! -- but I have since learned the truth about that religion and am no longer the slightest bit Christian nor will I ever be again.) As I said, both my husband and I are *extremely* intuitive and can sense people's energy, and the energy we get from this man is "used car salesman" with not a shred of spirituality. In any case, his pushy car-salesman attitude was the real issue. That said, my husband and I did stop by the Youngfield store a couple days ago, and although we didn't encounter "Mr Mask" (and mask or not, the attitude was the problem) the lady at the register was also very "car-lot sales-y", listing off all the things on sale, the readings going on that day, etc. While some might find that helpful, we found it rather off-putting, as we had come in for a specific purpose, not a 3-minute sales pitch. There is nothing wrong with welcoming customers in and saying, "If you need any help just let us know." (Ashley at the 44th Ave location got this right, every time!) But the pushy attitude we've repeatedly encountered makes us reluctant to shop here.

She was very thorough in her work. we came on a recommendation from another couple (friends) and Sarah O. did not disappoint. We have been there previously to buy a necklace and we had a similar experience with whoever helped us that day. thank you Isabella and thank you Sarah O!

Not worth it if you want a ring made properly…read more My sister got her engagement/wedding rings from Sarah O back when they were newer- and I love their designs so I had said for 5 years I wanted my rings from here. My fiancé bought me the Nova ring and proposed 12/22. 12/23 I took a closer look and saw that the prongs on my center stone were FAR from flush on the stone (see pictures, iPhone cameras are wild). Which is a problem because if they snag on clothes or furniture the prongs bend more and the stone can loosen and fall out. On top of that one of the halo stones was loose (video). On a BRAND NEW, never worn ring. We took it to Sarah O and they admitted fault and said of course they'de repair the ring- under the limited warranty it was all covered, but it will take 3-4 weeks. Bummer.. but glad the solution was simple no pushback... Don't underestimate how disappointing it is to tell all of your loved ones you are engaged and everyone says where is the ring, they reach for your hand and there's nothing there. I 3 weeks go by and I get the ring back, Prongs on the main stone were fixed.... But the loose halo stone... they smushed the setting from the top in order to secure the mele stone- causing the sides to fan out creating a gap from the sides of the setting to the diamond. Which ruined the symmetry of the ring and disrupted the sparkle of the halo diamonds because of the way it was sitting. (See photos) Devastated. Emailed with the new problem was told "we had professional jewelers quality check the ring so the stone is secure but if you want to we can fix this for you, we will rush it so it's done in 1 week"... Quality check the ring??? I know I said I wanted the stone secured and not loose, I didn't assume I'd have to specify that professional jewelers should fix it the right way...... I send it back. Next day, I get a call from our customer support contact.... Tells me that manipulating the metal in this way would ruin the integrity of that setting, more likely to bend and fail holding the stone- so they're recommending that they completely recast the ring. However - that will take 6 weeks. If I don't want to wait that long they can send the flawed ring back as is... assuring me the stone is secure... but what they didn't say is that- that would mean that if the stone ever fell out due to normal wear and tear ... to have it fixed they would still need to recast the ring but my warranty would probably be expired and I'd have to pay for it. So I sent it back. Nearly 6 weeks go by and I email to check on my rings status. They say it'll be done "the week of the 23rd." So that means it could be done on FRIDAY of that week when it should be done Friday the week prior - that is 6 weeks- and you should be mailing it to me ON the 23rd - you've had 6 WEEKS!!! The "week of the 23rd is 7 WEEKS" and if it isn't done until Friday that means you'll be mailing it to me the next week and be pushing 8 weeks! So I sent an email detailing exactly what I just said. And lone behold they were able to ship the ring to me the next day. I recieved it and checked it 5xs over and it seems to be fixed. Fixed so well I'm seeing flaws from the previous ring I never even pointed out were fixed: My V prongs apparently were very sloppily made the first time (see last picture) lol. Honestly comical now. They gave us a 25% discount code to compensate us for the trouble to use towards a wedding band- because we asked for it we felt like we should get something, they didn't initiate this offer- but I'm not sure I want to purchase from them again anyway. Besides they had a Black Friday sale for 20% off in November so it doesn't particularly feel like a fair recompense for being without my ring for 3 months. The good news is the Sarah O team was always very responsive and respectful and owned their mistakes. -denial would've been much worse. Just very unfortunate that it takes so much advocacy and the fact that you as a non-professional really have to double check their work and make them do it right rather than them doing it right the first time. We have a family friend who also purchased their engagement ring from here within the past year or so and while they didn't have the same construction issues their ring was A MONTH DELAYED. They had to replan their whole engagement plan. And as I mentioned my sister got her rings from here years ago and hasn't had a problem, hasn't lost a stone so. ‍ idk maybe their production system changed. I like my ring- but I bet I could find a ring I like just as much elsewhere. That's what I suggest you do. ..... Will update this review should the longevity of my ring turn out to be an issue.
