Used to be a really incredible store that's gone downhill in recent years. Lots of holier than thou attitudes with a lot less inventory. I used to spend about $1000/mo here and nowadays I'll eke out maybe $100 every 5 months if that. But mostly this was the final straw to break the camel's back: I went in at 5:25. Stood at the "apothecary" while 2 employees swept and drew instead of offering help. Finally got in line for the cashier. By the time someone helped me it was 5:34 and I was informed the apothecary closes 30 minutes before the store at 5:30. I needed an ounce each of 3 herbs. Didn't need my hand held or advice. But they stared at me doing nothing until it was "too late." I recommend Terra Apothecary on South Broadway or Hearth and Seoul Herbal on Tejon if you're after herbs. If you want a plant go to Tiger Lily or Bronze Petal. Most of the witchcraft stuff IS cool but it's better to buy directly from the people who make it, not this bougie store. Your patronage will be more appreciated elsewhere. read more

It is hard to write a review for a place that is based in a lot of personal items that might help you or increase your happiness, wealth, or love. I am giving this a pass/fail grading type review and this store gets a pass from me. For me this store feels the most like a magic store that you would find in fiction. It is a little dark and a little light. You can find candles here but you can also find bones of animals. This isn't a store to bring someone to who would be freaked out by certain symbolic items. I have been to some "metaphysical" stores that are just dyed gems, candles, and random crap. This place sells with a purpose and with integrity. I respect it even if I don't find use in everything that they sell. My only complaint is the store is a bit pricey. read more

The customer service here is superior. I love that everyone is so intelligent about whatever I have questions about. Their awareness extends to not selling something if they know little about it. Employees will advise you on who to talk to, in terms of employees, to get the exact help that you need. I love that I can ball small portions of things and can be told the source of the materials when I ask. I have some artwork in my house from here. Each time it is a slightly different and altogether pleasant experience. As an added bonus, you can order online and they can ship across the country (or so they told me/will send to CA for sure(. They also do not let people come in and just to joke or jest or use this store as a "curiosity" to be rude, I have been present when they have asked people like this to leave. The only thing I don't like is the parking here. The parking situation sucks if they are busy, like 4ish cars busy because their parking lot is so small, and, like many places in Denver or CO, the asphalt is chewed up. read more

If you are a serious practicing occultist, this is the store for you. My partner & I are Santa Muerte devotees visiting from out of town & had an incredible experience here. Anyone who is giving a bad review caught the employees on a bad day, is a love & light New Ager, or looking for something to be cranky about. The people in reviews I read complaining that the staff didn't say hi do not understand occult etiquette. You don't try to upsell the store products. You don't badger the people coming in. This is an occult store - not Abercrombie. I actually appreciated that we weren't jumped on & greeted/harassed as soon as we came in. We got two tarot decks, an oracle deck, & a couple candles for our altar at home, all for around $150 which is INCREDIBLE pricing for such high quality items. Nothing in the store was appropriative or unethical. Staff was kind, informative & helpful when we needed help. Seriously top tier as someone who has been to many occult/Magick shops, not to mention it smelled beautiful & looked beautiful. So much to choose from, I wish we didn't have to leave so soon. A beautiful store and selection. But those things don't make a store a store... Customer Service and helping customers find things, asking how they are doing etc, is what makes a store an enjoyable experience. From the over priced crystals, lack of enthusiasm by staff, and making customers seem like an inconvenience when shopping, puts a bad taste in my mouth and what I've heard from others, does the same to them as well. The entire staff was standoffish, and definitely had the attitude of knowing more and witch discrimination on people who didn't look the part. They didn't greet us as we walked in, and after about 30 minutes of looking around, no mention of a crystal sale, or guidance in finding any items. The only staff I heard while inside, was back office staff hanging behind the scenes, laughing, and hanging out, while a store full of customers were left to fend for themselves. The only time we were communicated with was as the total of our purchase was racking up at the counter. If you are looking for a store for a quick aesthetic picture for content and no actual substance or help definitely check out Ritual Craft. But if you want to get products and services done, definitely look elsewhere... read more

I think the stars of the show here are the employees. They are all so kind and welcoming, when one didn't know the answer to a question another employee was more than happy to help. I'm not super knowledgeable in the world of the metaphysical but there is a wealth of knowledge here. I can not emphasize enough how well laid out this store is, the displays are beautiful, and how they have things you didn't even realize you needed until you see them. I was visiting from out of town but noticed all of the events they have here like the pictures with Krampus. They were sold out of spots by the time I saw it but I would have so been in if the time had been there! Absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this store. The vibe is exactly my style, their selection of tarot and Oracle card decks are seriously cool and not super common in other metaphysical stores, they have the coolest book selection ever, and the herbs/tools selection also great. They have a wide price range of all the items in the store so if you don't have a lot of money to spend you can still walk out with a book from whatever category you're interested in, or a small smudge stick, smaller sized stone, smaller quantitied incent pouch, smaller essential oil jar, one or two pendulums/spell ingredients/luck charms/enchanted familiar bones-feathers-claws-skulls-wings and much more. So no matter what you can leave the store happy with a quality item of your interest/needs. They also carry jewelry and a handful of different articles of clothing so ya! Think that covers it all. So a brief answer is I highly recommend. They have a well rounded store all around~with a lower priced option/size for every item, all of which are high quality and well worth the money. I used to adore this shop. My sister and I come here whenever we're in town to shop for supplies and interesting decor. I stopped in to get her a gift but wasn't 100% sure she would keep it, as she's moving houses soon and is trying to get rid of things, so I asked at the checkout about their return policy. The man at the counter went off on a long, nasty tirade about how sick he is of doing returns, how the only possible way he would allow it is if I caught him on a good day and the owners were in, and if it's a gift I should make 100% sure the person "even wants" it before I buy it. "I'm not going to sit here all day and process returns." It made me feel guilty for even being in the shop to begin with, so I just left without buying anything. It kind of breaks my heart, but I don't know if I would ever feel comfortable going back, on the off chance he's working that day. Everyone else I've ever dealt with was so kind, helpful, and accommodating, but the last time I was in was almost a year ago, so maybe things have changed. read more

This store isn't bad at face value. It has a decent selection of herbs, stones, incense, plants, and some random/silly gift-type items. It's all very open, which makes navigation easy. There are two reasons why I don't think I'll return though. I've been twice now, and both times I felt the very negative energy that others have mentioned. For those who are sensitive to this type of thing, I would avoid going here. The air and general vibe do not come of as very friendly, and I didn't end up staying long because of it. The other reason I won't return is that many things are incredibly overpriced. Some of the jewelry is $400++, and I think that's a little outrageous. Even if they are nice quality materials, there was nothing I saw there that should have been even close to those prices. Just not super impressed. read more

I've been wanting to check this place out since I saw a piece about it in 303 a few months back, and finally stopped in. Such a great spot. I don't know much about witchcraft or their offerings, but the staff was very friendly and available to answer questions and help - and not in a hovery kind of way. I spent a while just wandering around and looking at everything and I'll definitely be back. I left with a couple of books, some incense, and a gift card I'll happily be giving as a Christmas present (definitely more personal than the standard Amazon). The selection of plants, candles, and herbs is really worth a second and third look in my opinion. Honestly, everything in here is really unique. This is hard place to review if you're not really a believer. If you werent aware, the owner of the shop is Wickan. Being an atheist/non-believer myself, I cant speak to the religious tools and products here. However, what I can speak to is the beautiful and spooky aesthetic and array of other goodies in the shop: greenery, TONS of essential oils and loose leaf herbs and some clothing. It looks like the also host classes which is always a fun touch. The space itself is large with a huge black fireplace as its centerpiece. The gal in the shop was super nice and welcoming and I will likely be back to stock up on oils-- I use them for aroma therapy at home and in the studio. read more

This place was so beautiful and had an abundance of materials that you would need for all your witchcraft, sorcery and metaphysical needs. We decided to go to ritualcraft for some gifts for a graduation party. No hello at walking in. No help finding what we were looking for. Bad energy all over the place. The woman with black hair and nails would only take time to answer questions when asked and even then it was like pulling teeth. The man with the pony tail was not at all helpful but did give a quick hello after about 20 minutes of us being in the store. The crystals are WAY overpriced! The incense is too and the don't have a clue about other types of incense. Basically the employees seemed happier to do nothing and wander aimlessly around the store than to sell actual stuff to actual people. How does this place stay open?! This place is magic. Beautifully and ethically curated shop. I'm grateful that RC has its home in Colorado. The staff witches are deeply knowledgeable. I highly recommend taking classes through Ritualcravt School. This was the first place I felt comfortable going to in 2020 after the pandemic started. (Hopefully I can see the new location now that Covid numbers are doing better and I'm fully vaccinated!). I can give some general love about this place however here are some specifics that I love. The people who work there and the shop owner really care about their products and their impact on the community as a whole. They are always kind, and any time I have asked for a suggestion or reached out with a question they are always so gracious. The products they have are ethical. This is so important to me. They often support marginalized parts of our community. Any packages I've ordered from them always arrive with care and promptly. Both from the store and the ritualcravt school as well. Beautiful, ethically sourced goods. I have purchased online a few times. Each time the box is packed with care and love.

I am not sure what happened to Ritualcravt. At their first shop, the energy felt bright and free-flowing, but sometimes like I felt like I was outside of some inner circle (not necessarily unusual at a fledgling small business in their first storefront, I thought). That feeling got stronger at their second location, which had a lot of things and a vibe I mostly loved, but I would often leave feeling inexplicably lonely and drained. Now, at their third location, I feel unwanted the moment I walk in. It's beautiful, don't get me wrong. The space and what they can offer with it is great. Aesthetically they have a very clear (almost overpowering) brand. They have a lot of wonderful items, even more now, and I appreciate the care they take to source ethically and provide more obscure books, decks, and makers. But every time I have gone there, that sense of exclusivity is the strongest it's ever been. It's so strong that I and many other witches I know have felt wary of even speaking up about the toxicity they sense there, which seems like a major red flag. Worst of all, I've heard some very concerning things about their business practices and legal behavior towards teachers/readers that I won't share here because I only heard them 2nd or 3rd hand, though from sources I trust. In my own experience, I've heard people who work there say disparaging, condescending things about other metaphysical shops in Denver. That alone would have been enough for me to decide I just don't feel okay supporting Ritualcravt anymore. Many people love this shop and that's fine. YMMV. But for me, I'll continue giving my business to Isis, Spirit Ways, Herbs & Arts, Shining Lotus, Alchemy Ritual Goods... and so on. This is not the only place for witchy or spiritual folks. read more

This was on my list of places to check out while staying in Denver. I love the witchy aesthetic and look of the shop, it's bigger than I thought it would be! The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. I felt free to browse around at my own pace. They did not hover, but I felt like they made themselves available to me when I had questions! I love the selection of herbs and flowers which were neatly organized, and displayed beautifully. The prices were a little high and that's what kept me from giving a five star review. I would have easily purchased more if the prices had been more affordable, or if there was a better deal when you purchase several of the same type of item, like the ritual oils, I would have loved to take home a handful of them. read more
