They had books and tarot cards I have never seen before so I did some of my Xmas shopping and was so glad to spend money at a shop that is so supportive and inclusive. read more

My fiancé and I came in On a beautiful sunny day in hopes of finding hidden treasures for my altar! We had just enjoyed brunch downtown to celebrate our engagement after the busy holiday season and it's easy to say this was the place I was most excited to go after we ate! To my dismay it was not the shopping trip I was hoping for in the least!!! Let's start off with the most important; first impression... The eNeRgy as soon as I walked in was off!!! It was very dark, heavy and clouded. I personally felt very heavy walking through the small space and the feelings I experienced only intensified the longer I stayed in the store. Being a Clairsentient, vibes don't get far past me before I'm picking up on everything very intensely. The vibes were so off that it kept me from taking pictures!!!! ThE woman behind the counter on Saturday, January 4th for our visit did not greet us as we came into the store. I greeted her and then still no greeting. She was staring down in her lap the whole time and never asked us what we needed help with or what we might be looking for. I continued to lOok for goodS with Kevin in spite of all of this... I was originally coming in for a new moon and full moon ritual hAnd poured candle like I hAd seen advertised on their Instagram. When I found the table of candles she only had two kinds in stock and neither were the candle I waS looking for. I was bummed about it and did not want either of the candles available. I did see some ritual oil that peaked my interest but not for the price of the little roller ball. Let me jusT run down a quick list of disappointments; 1. There was only one bundLe of sage with rose petAls left, which also looked crumbled and a little distressed. 2. Incredibly small selection of incense burners and EVERYTHING ELSE IN GENERAL! 3. The ritual oils and salts seemed over priced for the amount of product 4. The crystals and gems in the corner of the sTore needed cleaNsing and charging BIG TIME!!! 5. Some items in the store weRe nOt marked with a price and the girl behind the counter didn't know the price and also didn't even know if the items were for sale! 6. Heavy negative energy, it was very dusty and cluttered so that alone might have had a lot to do with it... 7. The store was not clean or organized... especially the book shelf, what a disaster! 8. The woman behind the counter was uninterested in her customers and we were looking for exceptional customer service this day. Honestly listening to her being so annoyed with another customers question about how to use an incense burner was cringe worthy.... she was so upset that she had to get up an help this sweet girl. Why? And the girl was sent in by someone else for items, she seemed to know what she needed but not where to find it in the store. I assumed it was also her first visit like ours. So sad to watch! All in all... I wanted to love this stOre but they have nothing I need that I can't make myself or find at my usual awesome spiritual retail stores! Will I be back?? Maybe, I'm all about second chances. Will I suggest this place to my fellow witch friends? No. read more

I always hunt down witchy shops when visiting new cities and I am SO happy I came to Alchemy! Flore the owner and Charmaine the other lovely woman working there were SO welcoming and helpful. The selection of crystals they had was beautiful and the candles were also gorgeous. I ended up getting a beautiful quartz ring and I feel it's power! We entered the beautiful purple door and immediately we were greeted and welcomed! This shop has a nice variety, and is neatly organized. I really appreciate the effort and thought put into the Chakra Ritual Kits, which were my favorite! My daughter was having a rough day and the owner went out of her way to speak to her and lift her spirits up! So glad we visited this shop on our trip! I am also glad they have an Etsy shop so I can get their beautiful products shipped to me! I will be keeping an eye out for more ritual kits ;-) read more

I'm a practicing Witch, and I didn't find much of value in this shop, save for the herbs in bulk. Their homemade products didn't have much spiritual energy to me, and the whole shop had a somewhat "dark" vibe. Can't recommend. read more
