    Outside of store

I visited this store after spending some time at a nearby community center. I like where the store is situated. Be aware that parking is only on the street. Thankfully I didn't need to park far away from the store. The streets were loaded with parked cars but not as bad as I imagined for a weekend. The store was busy when I visited. I've always had a love of Tibetan culture so visiting here was a real treat. The store is kind of small. However, there are a lot of nice things to browse and choose from for purchases. They had a nice selection of wrist malas. I ended up buying a beautiful one with the face of the Buddha for one of the beads. It's a really nice piece of art to wear on your wrist along with the metaphysical benefits of it. The pricing was reasonable as well. Staff was helpful but not too engaging. If you need something or have a question, count on being assertive for assistance. They have a nice selection of pendulums as well. I ended up purchasing one of these. It's really beautiful with the seven chakras (multi-colored stones) on it. From what I understood from someone who referred me to this store, they have a selection of meditation cushions to choose from. I didn't ask to check any out due to the amount of patrons in the store. It wasn't easy to maneuver around them while walking back and forth between two aisles. If you're on the search for a meditation cushion just know that they sell them here. Overall, I was satisfied with my purchase and visit to the store. If you live near the downtown area of Denver, I recommend checking this store out. If you're visiting and have an interest in Tibetan jewelry, statues, meditation cushions and other cultural products, I also recommend checking them out. I would visit here again although there is another Tibetan store that is my very favorite!

Mala beads chosen by Sarita after the reading
    Kristin B.

Sarita is incredible and the real deal. She had it down to the date (in her words "if it were to happen") of when I would split from my ex - and it did happen on the weekend she predicted. I've been to her twice in the past 4 years, and both experiences have led me on a path that I couldn't be more sure of. Most recently I went a few months ago, and plan to go much more after this most recent experience. Thank you Sarita

How many times have I driven past this little shop? Small and almost hidden, it's like finding a treasure chest from an old pirate map. If you're into incense, statues, wall hangings this little shop will fit the bill. On this day, however, I wasn't looking for these things. I was looking forward to getting my reading from Sarita. I had heard so many wonderful things about her and her intuitive readings. I had arrived a little early so that gave me a chance to look around the shop a bit. So many things to keep your eyes entertained. I was a bit edgy and off-center this day and Sarita put me at ease. Her calm manner and practical approach had my full attention and presence. She gave me what appeared to be a natal chart to write on. At certain spots during the reading, she would make it a point to say 'write that down'. She was focused on me through the entire reading, all the while her hands were busy making a mala. Not once did she skip a beat or miss a knot. I wouldn't find out the meaning of a few things she told me until a couple days later and am grateful to her for future insights.

The mala bracelets from Tibet Imports we made for my bridal party!
    Allyson M.

My now-husband and I and a couple friends went into Tibet Imports to find and make mala bead bracelets for our wedding party. The selection and service were both great! We were able to find a variety of beads for our friends which fit each of their personalities to the letter. We liked having the description of each bead's meaning to go with the beads themselves because we were able to write custom notes for each member of the wedding party and personalize their gifts. Our friends have been recommending we stop into Tibet Imports for years now and I am so glad we decided to go with them to provide our loved ones with a thoughtful gift that they will cherish always! Thank you Sarita! We will be back!

A really neat feature, they print the name of what you bought on your receipt so you can tuck it away in case you have troubles remembering all those long scientific names. Just because a person comes from a "highly attuned spiritual family" doesn't mean they're also highly spiritually attuned -- that's like saying "she comes from a highly musical family" but she can't carry a tune or keep the beat. (I myself come from an *extremely* Christian family -- Bible Belt! -- but I have since learned the truth about that religion and am no longer the slightest bit Christian nor will I ever be again.) As I said, both my husband and I are *extremely* intuitive and can sense people's energy, and the energy we get from this man is "used car salesman" with not a shred of spirituality. In any case, his pushy car-salesman attitude was the real issue. That said, my husband and I did stop by the Youngfield store a couple days ago, and although we didn't encounter "Mr Mask" (and mask or not, the attitude was the problem) the lady at the register was also very "car-lot sales-y", listing off all the things on sale, the readings going on that day, etc. While some might find that helpful, we found it rather off-putting, as we had come in for a specific purpose, not a 3-minute sales pitch. There is nothing wrong with welcoming customers in and saying, "If you need any help just let us know." (Ashley at the 44th Ave location got this right, every time!) But the pushy attitude we've repeatedly encountered makes us reluctant to shop here.

I was followed around by three different employees constantly asking me if I needed help and staring me down. Even if I look at the situation differently they don't even allow people the space, freedom or even privacy to choose what they need themselves or the chance to ask for help if they need it. Instead they all hound you down like you're in a clothing department store and make you feel uncomfortable. Especially the guy working there with the gray/white hair was orchestrating all of the employees around. Another reviewer mentioned this and yes there is a strong atmosphere of intolerance, paranoia, judgement and deeper under lining issues. I was standing in line behind a gentleman and when it was my turn at the counter, the guy with the gray/white hair told the lady working the counter to leave the counter and told another lady to come check me out which was odd and he had a very nasty look on his face. Then the lady at the counter asked me if I had a membership and I said no, She then says "ok don't worry we are not pushy" and then proceeds to laugh and say "at least I don't think so". They know exactly what they are doing. If a spiritual store is worried about people stealing or whatever then they you are NOT the real deal and it is a reflection of who they are and what they are actually doing. If you are alarmed or uncomfortable by a women of color coming into your shop while your shop is named Goddess/Isis you should NOT be in business! This place is not sacred or safe. Buy your stuff online or go to a place with integrity, a place that has respect and honors spirituality and people, all people. Avoid this place and do not support this business.

When they mentioned the jeweler using the cad program, they told me that to set each stone is $100. I find this crazy given the quote from the place we visited after this. They also recommended I bring more gold in as trade when the other jeweler said the gold from my original ring && 1 other was more than sufficient to have my new ring made. Lastly, what the biggest standout was for me on service was the second jeweler I visited was very professional & even came down from his work space to look at my stones w/me as. As I was explaining what I wanted, he was able to sketch out EXACTLY what I wanted...not attempting to put it in a preexisting design. All in all, it felt like this jewelry store was more into the business of selling pieces rather than making. I'm giving 1 stars because of the absurd amount I was quoted, the lack of care for making a custom piece (not meeting w/the jeweler) & the disinterest felt by both women to work w/us.
