I visited this bookstore for the first time in December 2025, and I was delighted by what I found. This is a lovely, first-rate bookstore with beautiful used books in great condition. Simply one of the best used bookstores in Denver (and we visited many of them). This is one of those really organized & tidy bookstores, and the overall selection of books was really high-quality (both in content and book conditions). The owner was a really nice guy - helpful, kind, & chatty (if you wanted him to be). He stood up and greeted everyone that came in, and even went around offering bottled water. We found some really great finds, and prices were comparable to other used bookstores in the area ($10-$20, depending on rarity). There were a few books in the locked display that I had heard of, but never seen an actual copy - and he let me browse, even though they were definitely beyond my budget. This isn't your typical used bookstore! The Printed Page sell higher end used books, focusing on books that collectors would like, including books signed by authors, odd or interesting editions, and so many Easton Press and Franklin's Library books. The books sold here are kept in wonderful condition, they take the time to wrap all of their regular hardcovers in protective plastic. All that being said, in general books here are more expensive then most used book stores, but you can still find some great steals. P.S. Besides the fact that one of my college friends runs the Printed Page, I have to rate this treasure 5 stars. The proprietor, Dan, is assisted by his adoring pal Izzy, a Heinz 57 pup who greets and enjoys all visitors. Dan has a human partner, but I confess I've forgotten his name. Dogs do that to you. The Printed Page specializes in used and rare books of all types, and they are most willing to coach would be collectors on what to look for. I happen to love mysteries, and they have a robust collection, including signed copies, first editions and some rare editions. If you're looking for something special, they'll offer to find it for you. They will talk with a customer as long as he or she has questions or something to say. They are astute observers of human behavior - both inside and outside the store. Their civility and kindness to those less fortunate is inspiring in this time of caustic discourse. There are little nooks in the shop where you can retreat to read and relax. Now that I'm back in Denver, an outing to the Printed Page will be a regular treat, even if I have no particular reason to go. Pay a visit -- you'll enjoy it. read more

What an amazing find! The owner, Dan, was very friendly and helpful. He is even keeping an eye out for some rare books that my husband has been seeking out. This shop is clean, well organized and offers and incredible selection of both rare and unique books. We spent the day visiting bookstores in the Denver area and this one is by far our favorite. This is the cream of the crop of the used book stores on Broadway, in my opinion. It is clean, light, bright and has a very knowledgeable owner to help you find what it needs (plus a three legged dog and who doesn't love that!). It isn't a huge place, but it has a good amount of children's books, mystery novels and a whole section of very nicely prices current novels signed by authors. If you are looking for something in particular you can fill out a form and they will keep an eye out for it for you, which is always nice. We will be back! What a lovely bookstore! Great selection of classics, very clean and organized, and they offered my husband and I free bottled water when we entered, since it was a hot day. The children's section has a wonderful selection of old and new and antique versions of many books. I was looking for some books for my grandson on philosophy and math. I had no idea on where to find them. Dan Danbom, the owner, suggested that I visit the book store. The Printed Page is a used book store on S Broadway. I called the store and I told the woman who answered what I was looking for. She excitedly told me she had a set she would bring to show me.
