You pay $1 for a rechargeable swipe card and most machines are 1 swipe with a few being 2 swipes. You can load whatever amount you want onto your card but they give you extra credits for 29 and 50 dollar purchases. There is also a recharge machine up front. There is a large stuffie in most machines and you can win it if you get 3 of the same prize from that machine. There are also larger stuffed animals and backpacks at the counter you can trade up for. Any 3 small animals for one of the larger on the counter and when we were there it was 5 small animals for a backpack off the counter. What I liked was that the claw tensions were set so you could actually win prizes. We left with about 9 or 10 item. Several key chains, a large stuffie I traded for and 4 small stuffies. They were all good quality too! I don't plan to go back any time soon because I don't need anymore stuffed animals but I sure do want to go back. lol I've recommended this place to several friends and some have already taken their kids. We spent about $30 per person and won 4 big capybaras plus 3 small stuffed animals across 5 of us. Even offered to fluff up some of the toys when they saw a young kid struggling to win on one. The sign does say arcade but this is 95% claw machines with one or two VR type games in the back. Come for the claw machines - it's a lot of fun but plan on spending $20-30 per person.
