You pay $1 for a rechargeable swipe card and most machines are 1 swipe with a few being 2 swipes. You can load whatever amount you want onto your card but they give you extra credits for 29 and 50 dollar purchases. There is also a recharge machine up front. There is a large stuffie in most machines and you can win it if you get 3 of the same prize from that machine. There are also larger stuffed animals and backpacks at the counter you can trade up for. Any 3 small animals for one of the larger on the counter and when we were there it was 5 small animals for a backpack off the counter. What I liked was that the claw tensions were set so you could actually win prizes. We left with about 9 or 10 item. Several key chains, a large stuffie I traded for and 4 small stuffies. They were all good quality too! I don't plan to go back any time soon because I don't need anymore stuffed animals but I sure do want to go back. lol I've recommended this place to several friends and some have already taken their kids. Even offered to fluff up some of the toys when they saw a young kid struggling to win on one. The sign does say arcade but this is 95% claw machines with one or two VR type games in the back.
