She made us feel heard, supported, and completely taken care of throughout the entire process. On our wedding day, we were able to truly be present and soak in every moment because we knew everything was in her hands. But what made our experience even more special was having her officiate our ceremony. We knew she would do a beautiful job, but she made it so incredibly personal and heartfelt. It was one of the most emotional and beautiful parts of our entire day, and having someone who had been there throughout our wedding journey be the person to marry us made it that much more meaningful. Truly, the icing on the cake. We will forever be grateful for everything she and her team did for us. She didn't just help plan our wedding, she helped create memories that we will carry with us for the rest of our lives. We could not speak more highly of her, her team, and the care they put into what they do. There is a lot of natural light which is nice. I think the space may have been sectioned off so I couldn't quite get a sense of the entire venue. It's pretty from what I did see and a nice place to host an event.

A lot of people bring their own chairs or blankets which could be helpful in the future When we came, there were a lot of food trucks to choose to so can't speak on the food at urban apples, but their ciders were tasty! I got a flight and enjoyed trying different flavors. I wasn't a huge fan of their "regular" cider but I enjoyed the raspberry one and mixed berry. The cinnamon one was also tasty! There is a huge outdoor area and our kids loved playing in the open field and going down the tunnel slides. There's also a play area and other things we want to check out the next time we come. Definitely a fun spot to hang out with the family!

We visited on a Friday evening when they had a Beatles tribute band performing. Nice, and no cover charge! We were starving, so we popped right into the long line to order food. When we finally queued up at the bar, I asked for recommendations and was told the burgers were excellent, so I ordered one. A bit of a shocker - we were told there could be up to an hour wait for food, despite the fact that the building was less than 50% full. It was also a little chilly, so there were just a few peeps outdoors. But I appreciated the honesty. Over 90 minutes later (!), our buzzer finally went off and we picked up our food. And it was not worth the very long wait. As seen in the pic I uploaded, my burger looked like it had been sitting under warming lights for some time. The beef had a nice dark char to it, but after a bite, it was clear that additives had produced that attractive color. There was a good amount of beef, but the processed taste was a huge turnoff. The chips were interesting! They may have been made in-house, as there were big, billowy pieces that were delish, but other chips were moist enough that you could actually fold them. A touch less salt and they would have been an 8 out of 10, in my humble opinion. So I paid $14 for a burger that tasted clearly pre-processed after waiting 90 minutes in a half-full restaurant. No thank you.

I stumbled across it today while out driving around and waiting for an event I was attending. The mansion is a historic mansion that was inspired by the Governor's Mansion in Williamsburg, VA. It has multiple options for several events and has been updated by Hamilton County Parks. From the looks of things, those updates continue to be implemented. As a historic mansion, accessibility isn't perfect. Things have been made as accessible as possible - Hamilton County, in general, tries to do that. Event space on the main floor has space for 80 people for a sit-down event. If the patio is included, you could have 100 sit-down or 120 standing. There's also a third-floor music room that has space for 40 sit-down. If you need a larger space, Coxhall Gardens has several other options including an amphitheatre. It's super weird to think that this was a home. The land started with the John Williams family (No, not the Star Wars composer). They were early Hamilton County settlers and moved here in 1855. 10 years later, they built the Victorian home that still stands. Bricks were even made on-site. In 1958, a 40-year-old Jesse Cox and his wife would make a bid on the property - it was initially denied, however, a year later the property was still for sale. Finally, they were able to acquire it. In 1999, they donated it to Hamilton County Parks. Due to its historic nature, the mansion is often viewed separately from the rest of the gardens. This entire complex is pretty mesmerizing, however, Carmel has a long history of weaving together luxury, history, and practicality and this mansion is a great example.
