The Boba itself was good, but the bear cups you get to keep is to die for. There are also a few games in the shop so you can hang out and play. What really made our trip was the barista. I hope I get the name right, but I believe her name was Jay! She is really personable and cares about the company. She told us that this is the second location and the other location is a boba & hooka bar that she worked at for a long time. They also host anime events often. We kept conversation going for the entirety of the visit and she really went above and beyond. If you are in the area and in the mood for some boba, stop in and give it a try!

I tried the thai iced tea with boba and thought it was fine, but not much tea volume for the price, if I'm honest. My partner tried the peach white tea and also thought it was fine. I will say, the boba to tea ratio is high here, so if you love the actual beads more than the liquid, you won't be disappointed. Super friendly barista who made the drinks quickly and served them with a smile. I liked everything but the price, but that's not her fault of course. Also, beware that parking in this area can be a nightmare.

The texture and taste isn't something I am able to find in other places near my area (I have tried looking). I have done both in store ordering using the tablet and via online. Both options were easy to navigate. If visiting in store, there might a wait since it seems this place is popular. There is available seating inside. There are little tables, benches and stools if you decide to stay for a little bit. Parking situation varies. Both times I went, on Sundays, there were ample parking and no issues. Wish they would come to the SFV.

Two signs on the counter instructed patrons to not touch drinks and show their drink number upon pick up. The owner was super vigilant and responsive about the issues and I really appreciate that. I have had nothing but great experiences at the other 3cat locations like Arcadia and San Gabriel so I'm glad to see that Ktown is finally catching up.

They have now expanded and opened this Hollywood location on Level 3 of Ovation Hollywood. [Parking]: They offer parking validation for purchases of $15 or more if you park at the designated Ovation Parking Garage (Hollywood & Highland). Interestingly enough, I was able to obtain parking validation despite ordering less than $15 which I actually appreciated. Parking with validation is $3 for 2 hours. The cafe closes at 9 PM Monday through Saturday and 8 PM on Sunday, so come before closing time if you are interested in getting validation here. [Ordering]: This spot is more of a grab-and-go location and has no indoor seating. Limited outdoor tables are available in Ovation Hollywood. [Menu]: For drinks, the top two highlighted items are Strawberry Corn Milk and Bala (Guava) Matcha. Unlike other locations, this location serves only limited food items such as the Egg Salad "Bolo" Bun. *** Jasmine Green Tea (Light, floral green tea blend - $6.35): A good drink, but nothing to write home about if I compare it to other tea shops in the San Gabriel Valley (SGV) area. *** Happy to see an above-average tea shop in Hollywood, but please do visit other Bopomofo Cafe locations for the full experience as I think the food at Bopomofo Cafe is better than the drinks they serve.

There's also seating now, which I don't think there was before! I got the Mango Grapefruit Book this time, and it was not too sweet! There's a really strong mango and coconut flavor, though the grapefruit can be a little bitter. The service worker there was also very kind and answered a lot of my and the other guests' questions. I definitely think this location is worth checking out! For a parking tip, park at the Beverly Hills Public Parking garage down the street. It's one hour free!

There is also some street parking available, though it can be a bit difficult to find an open spot. Service at this location is okay, sometimes good and friendly and other times not so much. It doesn't bother me too much since I don't interact with them very often though. I usually order online and pick up at the counter, which I find much more convenient. Recently, I believe they extended the delivery area on the map to LA, but I haven't gotten the chance to try that out yet. They often run offers and promotions on their app, so I definitely recommend ordering online. You can also add a sticker to your cup when ordering online (if you draw your own it takes about a day to get it approved)! The interior is pretty small, so more of a grab-n-go, and it has a nice modern, clean aesthetic. The drinks are consistently pretty great! My go‑to orders are the Mango Coconut Boom and the Mango Grapefruit Boom. Super refreshing and fruity and the grapefruit adds a little tart, sour kick to the mango. I also really like the Triple Supreme Matcha and I recently tried the new seasonal King Jasmine Guava, and it wasn't bad at all too (the stickers are also super cute). Overall, really happy that this location opened, and the drinks are super good and keep me coming back.

This review is for the King Jasmine Guava ($7.99) only!!…read more I don't like slushies or chunky drinks so I've had sips of their coconut mango and grape slushie before and didn't enjoy it... but that would be unfair since I don't like those types of drinks in general. So anyways Heytea was completely off my radar because I figured I wasn't their target audience (which is fair) HOWEVERRR this new guava drink has me in a chokehold!! It's not thick and chunky like their other stuff. And it's actually good?? I hate that it's good because I went from a Heytea hater to a Heytea frequenter. It's floral, fragrant and it's a perfect mix of guava and milk/cream. Never would I have thought to pair guava and dairy together BUT IT WORKS SOMEHOW. Think strawberries and cream... but guava. The jasmine tea isn't prominent but it's there as a base layer and definitely smells soooo good. The guava taste is strong and I don't know what magic they put in there but it's not artificial and gross. The cream on top is nice too! I tend to drink from the lid the first and just enjoy the cream and then afterwards I'll mix it in with the drink. It's $8 which is pricey.... But I hate that I like it. I've gotten it like 5 times this month alone. They ran out of stickers but the drink is still just as good!
