This review is for the following team, Ali, Arman, Aga and Dauren from Dependable Movers. To begin with the guys arrived completely on time and had ample space with two vans and all the equipment needed for the job. They were so careful to lay down the appropriate material to cover and protect the floor and stairs throughout the property. To begin with they got to work with maximum efficiency and had boxes being hauled down a flight of stairs into the van at record speed, they were polite and friendly and didn't make us feel like we were in the way. They brought with them boxes, tools and all the protective gear required. Every item that was in our house was carefully and meticulous wrapped up in different appropriate materials that meant nothing was scratched including the walls and nothing would damage in transit. The team worked like a machine, one person per room handling their own space and being sure to move quickly. When the van was packed up they were able to head to our storage locker and load up another van with additional items. They are clearly very experienced on one occasion they had to manoeuvre a sofa through an elevator and did so with ease if I did this myself with my partner we would have been stuck and wouldn't have been able to complete the job. After this visit they headed to the final destination our new home and again, same meticulous rigour of laying down flooring for protecting the space, and unwrapping boxes and putting together complex furniture in record speed. The team were so nice throughout and didn't complain once about all the stairs. When they were bringing in new items they asked after each one where they would like for it to go and moved it there saving us so much time. They put together the beds and sofas really quickly and everything was so nicely wrapped up and protected. As well as this they were also able to take away the boxes as we were unpacking again this saves so much time and money. I honestly don't know how we would have done this without working with the team. Ali who led the group was a fantastic leader, he communicated throughout and let us know how far along we were at each stage for example, "were 50% of the way through Truck 2" this should take an additional X amount of time. This gave us a sense of how we can plan the rest of our day and what we needed to help with or make sure was done whilst they were still here. We recently bought our first home and were caught in a time crunch where we wanted to move as quickly as possible to avoid paying rent longer than necessary. Dependable Movers to the rescue! Dependable Movers has moved us before. Because of their outstanding service we selected them again for another household move. First Sasha in the front office was very attentive, helpful, precise, always updating in the move to the final day- that day was today when the crew arrived at 8:42am with a 26 ft'er with a van back up. Yelaman, Buyan , Aidos , Bulat  we're artist in maneuvering the boxes, tubs heavy furniture- lots of stairs. Yelaman was the team  leader. This was the "A" team. They were.  Clear Communicators, worked in Harmony with eagerness and care.  Watching them made me tiredOur move involved a second stop at the storage unit an amount of boxes, tubs furniture equal to what the already loaded earlier. Masters of physics and finding every knock and cranny to fit everything in. The van was for overflow. All during the day this A team, lead by Yelaman were always positive positive. This was a tough move with a 3 hour trip to destination and then unloading and heading back to headquarters. I am so happy we found this moving company, they deserve 10 stars. No doubt about it that moving is a stressful and exhausting experience, but this company made it SO MUCH BETTER! From the very beginning stages of information gathering to the actual move, this company went above and beyond to make the process easier and less stressful. You will not meet a more knowledgeable, dedicated, hard-working, kind group of people anywhere. Max and Dan were the men doing the heavy lifting on moving day. They not only arrived on time, but called ahead to let us know their arrival time to make sure we were ready. Max and his team took excellent care of our belongings. They shrink wrapped all soft cloth covered items and furniture like headboard, mattress, and ottoman, while wood furniture was covered with blankets and every item was securely taped for protection for the move. This was not an easy job, the pickup location was a 2nd floor apartment in a 100 yr old Victorian with steep steps. To add to the challenge of the day, it rained. That made it necessary for the movers to use more caution carrying the heavy pieces of furniture down the exterior flight of stairs. We had a fantastic experience with Dependable Movers. Firstly, they were quick to answer the phone when I initially booked which kinda helped me feel good about doing business with them. I was nervous looking for movers so this was important to me. Once all was booked the communication was heavy, in a good way. I really didn't have to worry about if they'd arrive on time or not. They give you a decent 2-hour window for time for arrival and they showed up on the earlier side. They also give you a link to track the truck location so you have full confidence during the entire process of where they are headed. AJ, Mubin, and Aziz were my movers and I LOVED THEM!!!! They were hella cute, very efficient, and very kind. It was like instantly I could tell they were trustworthy, and they clearly have done this before. Passerby's made comments on the sidewalk about how strong they must be. They wear protective gear so it looks like they take good care of their health!! I have never used professional movers before and was very nervous but Mike took so much time explaining everything to me and really set my mind at ease. I think I called every day until the movers arrived to make sure they would come hahaha... Everyone I spoke to had a good laugh with me and put me at ease. When Max and Dan showed up at 8:59am to move the insane amount of furniture out of our third floor, tiny apartment, I could have kissed them. These two men BUSTED THEIR BUTTS for seven hours straight with only one quick coffee break and never complained once about the million stairs. I kept having to beg them to drink water. I don't think they even used the bathroom the entire time. They are machines! When I saw this duo get my huge couch out of the apartment, down my stairwell, and around 3 narrow turns without taking it apart, I was sold! These guys are insanely professional and they are amazing at what they do! They got everything into the truck and over to our new 3 bedroom and put everything where I wanted. I am the most indecisive person, but they were so patient with me and even helped offer practical solutions. This is now my second time using Dependable movers, and I am absolutely thrilled with the service, quality, and skills of their team. Today we had Ali, Buyan, Alis and Vitaliy who did an exceptional job. Ali and his team were on time, communicative, diligent, and extremely hard workers. We live in the marina of SF and have a narrow and long staircase. They navigated this obstacle with ease and grace carrying down our large/heavy furniture and were able to pack our Pod containers like a game of Tetris. My husband and I were so impressed, and grateful, we were able to fit everything inside because of their skill. While they seemed very professional in packing up my apartment, when I started opening boxes I saw how sloppy they had been. Two examples: an antique glass lamp shade that I had put in a box and marked fragile was broken. It should have been either reboxed or have had extra wrapping around the edges to prevent crushing; a treasured ceramic was boxed with no paper wrapping and stuffed in a larger box with heavy metal objects and so was completely busted up. But the problems didn't stop there. Boxes were to be labeled according to the room that they came from. But I have found in unpacking that the objects in the boxes are extremely random. This made for a very difficult reorganization in my new home. Lastly, my 55 in flat screen had its original box in the garage and that was boxed properly. However the remote and the electric cord for the flat screen we're not in that box. They were in two separate boxes that were marked for the kitchen. These are only a few of the things that were frustrating and made for unpacking difficulties. I have to say that the men who were doing the packing were very nice although at the end of the day they became agitated because they hadn't brought a large enough truck and I think they hurried to get out of the house. They left many things unpacked and untaken because of the size of the truck and the size of the storage unit that the items were going to. read more
