Unprofessional and wont stand by their work. They replaced a valve and the connection failed. I was out of town when it happened and i lost 47,000 gallons of water and they wont do anything about it. Would never recommend them to anyone. read more

A while back our fantastic doodle dogs, Cooper and Chloee decided it was fun to play with our drip line irrigation system. By the time they were done playing, they had destroyed all the drip lines. I cannot say enough about Dependable Irrigation (Apache Junction). Lee and his team had initially installed the system for us about 5-7 years ago and have assisted us when necessary. They came today and redid all of the drip lines (about 16 lines) and it looks and works great again. The entire job today was under $300 (I was shocked and pleased). If you need someone to install or repair your irrigation system, these folks are the best. Family-run company that still cares. read more

Not as Dependable as they've been in the past. We've had them here to repair leaks and they were great so we knew we'd have them replace our old system when it was that time. To their credit, they did arrive and do the job at the price quoted on May 10th. The downside was that when they were done, we had a couple octopus connections that were as high as the sidewalk they were next to. (They did return to try to correct that) They also slopped their black adhesive on our front sidewalk and on the driveway. I was able to removed the excess with a putty knife but it still left stains. They've attempted to set the irrigation timer twice now (to run only in the early morning hours) but it still comes on at 9a on Saturdays in addition to the program they created. Most importantly, rather than a drip system that we expected would soak deep into the roots, they've installed three non adjustable, 4 gallon emitters on each of our citrus trees. As a result, the erosion is uncovering the root systems. When I contacted Lori about my concerns, I was told, they could change the emitters if we wanted to pay for a service call. At this point, I've lost the confidence that I once had in this company. I would expect an irrigation installation company understand the concept of a "Drip System" and be able to set an irrigation clock. read more

These folks are stellar! Like their name says, they are dependable ;), very reasonably priced, and get the job done right! I had an overhaul of my irrigation system done and you couldn't even tell my yard had been dug up, they were so neat and tidy. Lee replaced a bulging pipe I hadn't even noticed, that someone else had replaced about six months earlier, before it burst! They don't do more than needed and recommend only what might need to be done in the near future. They saved me time, money, and stress! Lee even came back out to teach me how to program and adjust the timer and again to adjust the water pressure. They really exemplify customer service! read more

Lee came out to give us a free estimate and not only showed us options for how we could and should lay out our irrigation, he also pointed out several ways for us to save money, including combining both zones of our current two zone irrigation system into a single zone for the front yard (where we already had irrigation) in order to free up the second zone to use for our back yard where we'd just done all our planting, thus avoiding the expense of adding a new timer and just building off the system we already had in place. We received four estimates and Lee's was the lowest and the only one which did not include purchasing a new timer and installing a separate system. Lee and his crew arrived right on time on the agreed-upon day (which fortunately happened to be just two days after he came out for the estimate), immediately got to work, and not only installed the new system in the backyard after re-routing our current system as noted above, he also found and repaired a leak in the current system AND tapped into our existing front yard's tubing to install lines running to three big potted plants we have out front! After completing the installation of everything, Lee took time to demonstrate every watering head was working, how to adjust each, and even demonstrated how to use and program the timer that came with our house. Absolutely fantastic recommendation from a neighbor who has used this company for 12 years. My sprinklers desperately needed attention, and owner Lee came to the rescue. He and his employee arrived right on time. I gave him a quick overview of all the problems (leaks, areas that were overwatering, etc), and they got right to work. The repairs took nearly two hours, and there were a bunch of items that had to be replaced. I was pleasantly surprised when my final total was only $167! These guys are the bomb! Lee and his partner were punctual with the appointment time and they immediately began working to fix old screwed up valves which caused our water bill to escalate. Dependable Irrigation is also very honest in there business practices and pricing. Like most Yelpers, I of course called the top 2 business on Yelp who NEVER had the courtesy to return my phone calls.I reached out to these other business's 3X! So three strikes your out. Dependable irrigation was also well reviewed on the NextDoor application by fellow neighbors. Again these guys are awesome so give them a call. The HOA initially hired Lee for our common area, based on a resident's recommendation. We needed our drip system, which was 30 years old, replaced. It was a huge job, costing thousands of dollars. Lee did a wonderful job. Subsequently, we had him replace parts of our grass system. Again, the work was excellent. I also have had him out to my house for personal work. Lee knows everything about irrigation. There is nothing he can't fix. I've lived in Arizona for more than 40 years. I've found that irrigation people are often unreliable. Not Lee. I hired Lee based on the reviews on Angie's List, and I have to say that I couldn't be more pleased with their work. When Lee and Paul came for the free estimate, I could just tell by the way they talked and investigated the old existing irrigation system that they knew what they were doing. I agreed that adding two new lines (one for shrubs and one for trees) was more time & cost efficient than digging up the backyard to find where the previous resident capped off those lines to put in a grass line. They were efficient, gave me plenty of spaghetti lines above ground for future use, left the yard like they found it, and even programmed my Hunter. If you hire these guys, I don't think you're going to be disappointed. read more
