The gentleman who came out explained everything... TMI.... Too much information. Finally we got to the point where we asked the questions and made him respond. Annoying. BUT...BUT THERE SERVICE IS OUTSTANDING. Their crew was.very respectful and knowledgeable. When they were finished we were ecstatic. The problems were finally fixed. I WOULD USE THEM AGAIN IN A HEARTBEAT. I forgot to mention that they came out just hours after getting a quote and were done in a couple of hours. read more

Mike came and gave me an estimate and set up the work for Wednesday at 8 am. Confirmed on Monday. Never showed up and when called to get an explanation he turned it around on me and my husband being unorganized in one breath and that things came up in the next breath. So unprofessional would completely understand if emergencies popped up but no call is completely unacceptable. Would have given a fat zero if that was an option. read more

Michael came over did a great job on the fuse box, quick efficient and great guy. Can't recommend the business enough.

once you pay, don't expect a call back if you have a question. This was disappointing because I think they did a good job , showed up in a timely manner, even though they weren't the cheapest. Now I have to find someone else to answer the questions I had about certain aspects of the work . I am happy to report I did receive a call back, Since I left this review and my questions were answered read more

Mike did a great job! His price was reasonable among the other bids received He was prompt and professional Excellent follow up. read more

Beware of unprofessional, dishonest, intimidating and hostile owner, Mike A! After having Dependable Electric replace my main electrical panel and service head (and paying in full), I requested and received a proposal for additional electrical work in my house including new outlets and both troubleshooting and fixing other wiring. With my approval, the additional work was to be completed the next day. Although the second itemized proposal specifically stated they would troubleshoot AND correct the wiring for two back to back outlets (kitchen and bathroom), I was told that I would have to pay an additional $600 to have this work done when the workers were at my house! Only wanting to understand why I was now asked to pay an extra $600, I called Mike Azzarello, the owner. He literally yelled and aggressively berated me, saying the job was taking more time than expected and how I was trying to take advantage of him when I said I didn't have  an additional $600! He then threatened to have his workers rip out the already installed electrical wiring. Taken aback by his tone, level of disrespect and threats, I politely ended the phone call.  I did not agree to the bullying tactics from the owner expecting extra money for promised work and asked the workers to please put the outlets back the way they were previously (working GFCI outlets)... Instead, my house was left without a functioning outlet in my only bathroom, and another outlet was completely removed and the wires were left literally hanging out of the wall (right next to my kitchen sink). All of the work from the second proposal was NOT completed as promised yet I paid the quoted price in full.  The owner, Mike Azzarello, was condescending, intimidating and extremely unprofessional making this expensive electrical work, an unpleasant experience overall. read more

Great 4 man crew! Polite, hard-working, explained everything clearly, and did a complete clean-up when the job was finished!

Dependable Electric did work for us a few years ago. I still remember the rude and discourteous behavior of everyone we dealt with. I am embarrassed that we allowed them to work in our home. read more

Crooks! Please do your research and check recent reviews on this company. They charge 2-3x what they should. They are unprofessional, exaggerate the work needed, rush homeowners and uses intimidation tactics. Very disappointing all around. Please save your money and the headaches and go with a good and decent company. read more

Had Dependable out because my electrical to our garage malfunctioned. We were told we had a big electrical issue that would be time consuming and expensive to fix. We were promised a quote over a month ago, but never heard back from them. Called another company in the area and they had it fixed within an hour for about $150. read more

Mike called within 1/2 hour of my leaving a message on his voicemail. Arrived within two hours to analyze the problem. Scheduled work to be done next morning and workers arrived promptly at the time given. The work was professional and neatly done. The time to completed the entire job was a lot less time than anticipated. I would definitely call them again, should the need arise. I will recommend them to my friends and family. read more

We called Dependable Electric to troubleshoot an exterior outlet that lost power, a dimmer switch that gets warm and another interior light switch. They showed up at our house with 3 electricians and looked at everything. They proposed solutions that amounted to installing a new exterior outlet and swapping out the interior light switch. They didn't do anything with the dimmer switch. They did not estimate the work prior to doing it and billed us $850. They were at our house for 1.5 hours. My wife asked for details behind the bill and the workers were not able to provide details. They said they called their boss and he told them what to charge. I called the company and after 3 calls, they called back. The owner said that is what they charge for that type of work that his electricians did a lot of troubleshooting. When I asked more about the details of the bill, he became unprofessional and yell at me over the phone. He told me that he is the electrician and I don't know what I'm talking about since I'm not an electrician. My wife called them again for an explanation of charges. We finally heard back after going through the BBB. I don't have an issue with the work they did but I have issue with being charged $850 for addressing a straight forward issue and for being treated unprofessionally over the phone. read more
