By mid-afternoon, Jim and his son arrived and got to work. Glad I called them as they found the p-trap was rotted, the hot water line had no shutoff valve, nor did the water line for the fridge ice maker. Jim explained what needed to be done, I agreed, and they worked quickly and quietly, keeping the area clean. An hour later, it's all done and my kitchen looks like they were here, except for my new faucet and sprayer, along with beautiful pipe/fitting work on the lines under the sink. Thank God he tried something and it worked. They also replaced my faucet, and I could not put my PUR water filtration system back on the faucet, so they came back over the next day free of charge and purchased an adapter and put it on for me.
