Many of them gave us solutions that ranged from Tub Replacement to entire Bathroom remodels. Jason came to speak with me and listen to our issue and worked with us on finding an economical solution for us to fix the issue we were having. Jason simply gave us what we were asking for and did not try and upsell us on more than we needed. Adam was the plumber that came in and did the job superbly. He was professional, efficient and thorough. We thought we had a major unplanned investment with tub replacement and thought the job would take several days. Until Jason spoke with us and explained he can fix this in 1 day for us. We now have the leak fixed, new fixtures and our bathroom back on a 1 day job. I called Freeflow because I saw their van in the driveway of a really picky neighbor who vets her contractors well. I figure if that woman was using Freeflow it was probably a good company. I called Freeflow and spoke to John. I told him the problem and that I hope he could come out right away. He said he could be there that evening. I was so relieved. Then John called again and said he could come out within a half hour if that worked for me. Great! He was there in an half hour, figured out the problem, and called for a guy to come bring him the right part. No waiting for Freeflow to get a part, no big fee for being an emergency call, just straight-up good customer service. A grave concern became a non-issue in about 90 minutes. Since it was an emergency we didn't get quotes. We just called Freeflow and were very happy with the service. So of course, we called John at Freeflow again once we moved into our new house. It was a foreclosure that Fannie Mae bought and "fixed" up. It had been vacant for over a year. John went through and fixed the mess Bathfitters made in installing the shower/bath combo, cleared the clogs in two upstairs drains, installed a new garbage disposal, and connected our water line to the new fridge. These were all separate visits since the troubles came over the course of 2 months as we lived in the house. John was very accomodating of our schedules. His quotes were always on or close to the actual cost. If there was a deviation it was explained, and since we paid in cash we got a discount. Now we plan to install a jetted tub in the master bath, and a half bath in the basement. So we will be calling John at Freeflow Plumbing confident we'll be getting good work for a fair price.

The original quote for the project was $3,875.39, and I paid a deposit of $1,356.38. Although I felt some of the individual charges were extremely high, including one item that appeared to be nearly four times the actual cost, I accepted the overall quote because I believed the total price was reasonable for the scope of work. The project involved plumbing work that had already been reviewed and approved through the condo HOA's infrastructure process. Part of the work required cutting a small opening in the ceiling of the condo unit below mine to access the pipes. I was prepared for this and had already arranged for my contractor to repair the ceiling once the plumbing work was completed. Instead of making a small access opening, John cut out a very large section of the ceiling, causing unnecessary damage, as shown in the attached photo. This resulted in additional repair costs that I now have to cover. After this, John informed me that if he were to continue the job, the cost would increase to $10,000. I declined because that was far beyond the original quote and because he appeared unable or unwilling to complete the project as originally agreed. Since the only work performed was an initial visit, cutting the ceiling, and obtaining the permit, I requested that $1,000 of my deposit be returned. John refused, stating that he believed he was entitled to keep the full deposit. I do not believe this was fair or reasonable, especially given the limited work performed and the additional damage caused. I wish I had checked YELP first due to the number of dissatisfied customers.

The opportunity to return the items anonymously without repercussion was extended, but my items have not been returned. * * * * * PERSONAL PROPERTY STOLEN * * * * * The work that was completed was done well enough. They even went above and beyond to work with my existing antiquated utilities. The mess left behind was no worse than that of other tradesmen I have hired (dust, greasy fingerprints, bootprints, etc). One of the men took one of my kitchen towels and used it as a rag without asking. It was then left balled up on the floor. I didn't even bother calling to complain about this, but in retrospect...* * * * This may have been a tactic to draw my attention away from the shelf where my personal belongings were stolen from.* * * * If you hire this company, get the full names of ALL of the workers who will be in your home. Google them before letting them in. If your gut tells you not to let them in, do not let them in. Do not take your eyes off them for a second. Do not allow one worker to distract you while the other(s) are unattended. If possible, place cameras, even around items of no/low value, kids' toys, knick-knacks, etc, even if they are too high up to reach normally. If you do not have video cameras, take before pictures of any room they have access to. Do not allow them to remove trash/debris from your home. Insist that they leave any garbage bags behind and check them thoroughly before throwing them away yourself. Take inventory of your belongings immediately. Record and photograph anything odd, even if it isn't something you would usually bother complaining about. If anything has gone missing, NO MATTER HOW LOW IN VALUE, file a police report. They sent out William & Alex the next day. All these gentlemen have great customer service and knowledge in the field. They were not pushy and did not try to up sell on anything which I really appreciate. Very respectful of me,my dog and my property. They cleaned up the work areas very well. I highly recommend them. Also Trish & Gayle in the office were very nice helping me to get scheduled for my appointments even when I didn't know the technical terms for things I needed done. I will be using this company again in the future for my plumbing needs. Plus their prices were actually reasonable compared to other companies. Also I love the text service that tells you who is coming, how far away in minutes, also track them on their way.

Glad I called them as they found the p-trap was rotted, the hot water line had no shutoff valve, nor did the water line for the fridge ice maker. Jim explained what needed to be done, I agreed, and they worked quickly and quietly, keeping the area clean. An hour later, it's all done and my kitchen looks like they were here, except for my new faucet and sprayer, along with beautiful pipe/fitting work on the lines under the sink. Not a fan of the "big name" no heart companies out there. The first time was to snake a bathroom drain. Not very exciting but they did a great job and cleaned up after. I called just after my basement flooded with over 12" of water and the woman who I spoke with (Donna) could not have been more wonderful. Not only could they install a new toilet (to replace my ancient one) they brought one to me to save me the hassle of figuring out how I was going to get it to my house in my small car. To add to my amazing experience I found out the day before they were to come out, the city was doing work on the water lines and was going to shut off the water. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was because I had an all day window appointment which tethered me to my house for the day.
