I just moved into a new condo and wanted a drain pan along with the 20+ year old 40-gallon water heater, the expansion tank, and a few old gas valves replaced. After getting quotes from 2 other plumbers, I decided to go with Action Plumbing as their pricing was much better than the other quotes I got. As a new homeowner, I was definitely nervous about whether I made the right choice, but I'm happy to say that Jim and his son looks like they did a great job. Everything I needed done was in a pretty tight space, but they were able to do it all. He also installed a new water valve and even fixed a gas leak on my furnace, all for free! Jim also gave me a lot of plumbing advice, which as a first-time homeowner I definitely appreciate. The city inspector came by and approved the work just recently, and everything seems to be working as I expect. I got home from church yesterday and there was water on the floor in my basement. Even though it was a Sunday, I called action plumbing, and Jim said he would be there to help me early Monday. He worked diligently, fixed my sewer pipes, and even worked on a broken pipe I had pointed out from another problem I discovered on the other side of my basement----which was not related to the problem I had called him out for.He was more than happy to help me and did an awesome job on that job to!!!!! Action plumbing put in our sump pump last year with battery backup and a new hot water tank. They did a great job with the installation. A few months later, there was a power outage in our neighborhood-many of the houses on our street had flooded basements, but because the battery backup was so good, ours did not. Yesterday, we had a bunch of electrical work done by another company and they had to unplug the sump pump and battery backup. When they plugged it back in, the pump was making a weird noise. I called Action Plumbing and they were quickly able to get us in contact with one of their plumbers. I sent them a photo of the pump and they were able to help us quickly fix the problem over the phone. I love the service for this company and would recommend. read more

My husband was installing for the first time - a new Tub/Shower in one of our bathrooms, but when it comes to plumbing - call the guy. So, I called Action Plumbing to do the plumbing rework for a new Tub/Shower. Steve, the Plumber and his associate were professional, on time, honest careful about tracking in the dirt (using their booties) & very nice! They did a great job and were so helpful to my husband in his next steps at continuing to do the install. A couple days later we had a small glitch when putting in the wall with the faucets so we called Steve. He was out the next business day and helped us out again! We really appreciated that, and it gave us the opportunity to set up a next day disposal replacement. The entire time formfirst call made till completion was less than 24 hours. Super response!!! Jim reviewed the entire process and my complete water system and found several contributing issues which would have caused additional and serious issues in the near term.
