Snake wouldn't go through so they chizzled away my concrete before asking and said my pipe had collapsed. Called his boss, explained to him what happened and said they could fix it for $800. Now months later they won't return my phone call to fix the problem so now I have a worse problem because they left my basement in horrible shape.

My first and only encounter with David Frey's plumbing business was truly "5-star". I held back one…read morestar on my rating today only because I feel, as a customer, it's wise to give a relationship with a business time before rendering a final opinion about them. That said, I must share my great satisfaction with the repair work done by David Frey at our house one day between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Our kitchen sink pipes went "kaput", and our DIY attempts had failed completely. Not wanting to simply pick a plumber from the phone book, we turned to a friend who recommended David Frey Plumbing. When we called, the person we spoke with on the phone was friendly, and David was able to come to our house within a short period of time. When he arrived with an assistant, I was immediately impressed by their desire to get right to work. They did a good job and didn't drag their feet at all or try to do work which wasn't needed (so my fears of a "padded bill" were put to rest!) I appreciated the fact that David and his assistant kept the work area clean and that while one of them was working on the pipes, the other was taking away equipment that was no longer needed. This kept the job moving at a good pace. Based on this repair job (and my friend's positive history with David Frey), I would definitely recommend his services.

Mr. Frey does good work, personally. Have had not so good work with people that work for him. His…read morereceptionist, who also happens to be family has been rude, disrespectful and dismissive. Really unfortunate because having heard this from several other people having the same experience, she is the reason customers are leaving. I had a conversation with Mr. Frey about her, so we will see if she changes or he releases her from being the voice of the business. UPDATE: Needed work to be done and the "receptionist" called me today to schedule something and then said an I quote "Oh wait, my dad is looking into your review about my rudeness and I am not like that and he is talking to his lawyer." I asked her why she called me then and she proceeded to say "that a friend of hers who is a friend of mine ..blah blah blah" and I stopped her and said why did you call me? You cannot call and harass people and yes we are allow to give truthful reviews. And asked if she had read them and said thank you good bye. Other posts stated that they threaten with a defamation suit ...Well the thing is you have these things called reviews and we are being honest about the services provided. Most often it is customer service why businesses lose people. Unfortunately it is happen to Frey Plumbing. Mr. Frey ..do the right thing. Your receptionist is not good for business

After researching many plumbers for my sump pump I decided Pompeii's was the best for my needs…read more They followed up with lots of information to help me make a decision and get my sale. Where they failed is in the way of service once I gave them the business. This, in my opinion is the larger measure of a good company. One that is there when things don't go so well...not one that over delivers during the sale. On March 15 my basement suffered water damage as a result of a poorly secured gasket during their install. The tech apparently didn't secure the gasket tight enough and water began to shoot out all over the dry wall, carpeting and door. Thankfully we were home to minimize the damage. While someone did come out from Pompeii to secure it, I got ZERO follow-up from management. No phone call or even letter of apology. No one acknowledged my damaged and warped door or my soggy carpeting or my soiled dry wall. I didn't expect much, though some communication from management would have been nice. Particularly since I was told I'd hear back in a couple of days. They simply swept my situation under the rug and ignored it. Mistakes happen! I understand that! Though when they do a good company addresses them.
