He swore up and down that it would be the greatest thing for our home ever. Well... it never worked properly, even with multiple visits to bleed the lines, and check the system. More recently they installed a brand new furnace and a/c system, which included all new ducting that they installed. One of the a/c vents on the ceiling in our main staircase has a watermark all the way around the outside. Since they did all the work, one would expect that they would come out and inspect it, right? Nope. After reaching out to them, Rich sent me a text, and I quote "We would have insulated around the register boots. You may want to have (insert another company name) take a look at them though". In my opinion, Hohler clearly doesn't stand by their work. I believe that they were upset because (the other company) was able to do part of job that they were initially going to do for us, for less than half the price. Keep in mind though that we'd already spent over 50k with Hohler. I would never recommend them to anyone. They themselves recommend calling the other company.

Signing up for the maintenance agreement works out to be a wash over ten years with the 25% discount they gave me on the HVAC work; I consider this a good deal. The pricing after the discount for signing up for the maintenance was less than four other bids I received and more than two smaller companies bids. The technicians have been courteous and professional every time I've dealt with them which is every six months or so. The customer service department gets 3.5 stars because they had a very rude and inconsiderate employee for a while but I haven't had to deal with this person in almost a year so a more recent update would be a five star rating. A lady named Angel is absolutely the best one to work with - she has always been great. I have added a whole house humidifier to the HVAC system in the past few months which was added on to my maintenance agreement with the associated equipment discount. My brother was the first to work with them, I have since referred my parents to them and they are very happy with the new central air system installed about two years ago. I was looking the phone number up to call for more work when I noticed the one star rating and decided to speak up for them. Yes, there was an extremely rude lady answering the phones for a while and is likely the source of the complaint above but they have since corrected the problem. The time of that one start review coincides with this employee (early 2016). I think some of my feed back to the technician got back to management because I have not had to deal with her since I complained to the company.
