At that point he also canceled our maintenance agreement we had with Hohler for nearly 10 years that covered labor. Hohler told me that I canceled my maintenance plan. I have asked for proof of cancelation, still have not received reply/proof. I have tape recordings of everything and will be posting to Youtube. On top of all this. The last time Hohler's team came out to do maintenance on the broken Bryant Heat Pump(February 2023), a few days from it no longer being covered under warranty, they admittedly failed to do some of the steps in their maintenance check list that would have caught issues like a leak, low pressure and the fact that the defrost and sensors weren't working properly. They gave us a green light and good report after maintenance only for us to catch the issue of the unit freezing over right before the warranty ended, at which time Hohler sent a crew member out to diagnose the unit as having a leak and needing a new air coil/handler. We have since found out that the lines and filters are also clogged due to contaminants in the lines. This is a Bryant Heat Pump that Hohler Installed around 10 years ago. Hohler is the only HVAC that performed maintenance and the multiple repairs on it.

Signing up for the maintenance agreement works out to be a wash over ten years with the 25% discount they gave me on the HVAC work; I consider this a good deal. The pricing after the discount for signing up for the maintenance was less than four other bids I received and more than two smaller companies bids. The technicians have been courteous and professional every time I've dealt with them which is every six months or so. The customer service department gets 3.5 stars because they had a very rude and inconsiderate employee for a while but I haven't had to deal with this person in almost a year so a more recent update would be a five star rating. A lady named Angel is absolutely the best one to work with - she has always been great. I have added a whole house humidifier to the HVAC system in the past few months which was added on to my maintenance agreement with the associated equipment discount. My brother was the first to work with them, I have since referred my parents to them and they are very happy with the new central air system installed about two years ago. I was looking the phone number up to call for more work when I noticed the one star rating and decided to speak up for them. Yes, there was an extremely rude lady answering the phones for a while and is likely the source of the complaint above but they have since corrected the problem. The time of that one start review coincides with this employee (early 2016). I think some of my feed back to the technician got back to management because I have not had to deal with her since I complained to the company.
