I have been using Pompeii's Plumbing & Heating for over 10-years and cannot say enough Great things about them! The life expectancy of a heat pump is 10-15 years. My entire heating system was over 30-years old and I attribute Pompeii's Excellent work to keeping it running for as long as it did. In April (on a Sunday, no less), a capacitor exploded and started a fire in the indoor unit. I'm in tears knowing I couldn't afford a new system at that time. Larry (a tech who treats me like family and has worked on my system for years!), got parts to 'resurrect' it but stated it was temporary --it could last a week, could last a few months-- but you need a new system! I had to pull the trigger on November 29th for a new heating system and, because I was down to about 3 minutes of hot water, I decided to add a new hot water heater, too. I used their finance company who made it easy and far less painful, lol. I highly recommend Pompeii's and couldn't imagine any other place doing work in my home. I called Pompeii's last week because my kitchen sink was backing up into the shower in the basement. It has been an on going issue for a while and asked for a camera because we knew it had to be something more than just a snake job. Ian had to jet the pipe to get it flowing. He showed us the film from the camera so we could see where the bottom of the old cast iron pipe was gone. All the water and garbage from the disposal was seeping into the gravel under the basement floor. We scheduled an appointment to get it repaired. Ian and James just left after being here for most of the day. They had to saw open our newer nature stone floor to fix the problem. I can't say enough good things about them. They did such a neat job replacing the concrete that it should be an easy fix to replace the nature stone floor. They were amazing. Last year I had called Pompeii's to replace a short hot water tank under our stairs in the basement. Dave was sent out and he had the job finished in no time. We were impressed with his work ethics so that's why we called Pompeii's again, I have seen their truck in our neighborhood several times. I would definitely call them again. read more

My furnace went out this weekend so I decide to give Pompeii's a call. Within a reasonable time a tech by the name of Daniel showed up on my driveway. After doing his assessment on why my furnace was not working, he took the time to explain to me exactly what was wrong with my furnace and also took some extra time to show me and educate on a few things that I should also know about my furnace. Within a reasonable time Daniel had my furnace up and running again. Once he was done he gave me a report which was a PRECISION TUNE-UP CHECKLIST which was an overview of everything that he had checked on my furnace in order to make sure that my furnace was functioning properly. For it being a weekend call their price was more than reasonable. He was very knowledgeable, professional and courteous to say the least. Pompeii Plumbing was efficient, courteous and professional while unclogging our main sewer line (no easy task), replacing our very old water heater and relocating our shut off valve to our main water line. (All in one day!). But their service was much more full circle than just doing tasks. They were so patient with us as they answered our many questions, were concerned that we got what we needed, and that we understood what and why they did the repairs they did. They had a discount we were able to use too! Gave us good advice and tips on maintaining what was done and on a few small projects we will do ourselves. We had a 5 head mini split system installed by Ron & Chris. The entire experience was fantastic, from the quote stage to the final day of installation. Ron was always available to reach and gave honest feedback. I felt that we were in good hands throughout the process. Our house is a 1915 colonial that had no duct work. Ron presented a thoughtful solution. When Ron & Chris came for the installation, they were very polite and pleasant. You can tell they love their job and their customers. We are pleased with the operations and the appearance of the Daikin units they chose for each room. l first called this company for scheduled work. They were prompt, courteous, and professional. The work was not as simple as we had expected, but Scott figured out the problem and fixed it without additional charge. The second time we called them, the job was more complex and I was not available to tell Scott how I wanted him to proceed. I needed service call for a furnace in Lakewood rental property. Tenant calls no heat of coarse it's cold out not summer! Oh also it's Sunday night !!
