At 5:00, I got a reminder call from a very professional and energetic young lady to let me know they were out to the house soon. She was great to talk to when most people would be winding down from a work day -- she was very peppy! Soon after the call, Kamran came to the house. He was very professional and polite, examined the issue, gave me a price quote, and then completed the project in great time!! He was very thorough, detail-oriented, and walked me through everything he was going to do. I am so glad to say that we have our "go-to plumber" now thanks to Five Star Plumbing and Heating!! I called Five Star Plumbing and Heating Friday afternoon and Kamran came out the following Monday…read more He gave me a window of time that he would be there and showed up not only on time during that window, but spot on at the start of it. He came in, checked the drains we were concerned about, and helped us clear them. Kamran also recommended some items to us on Amazon that will help us prevent the issue going forward. He cleaned up after himself and gave us what I consider a reasonable price for the work. Overall, a very good experience and we'll be reaching out to Five Star Plumbing and Heating for any other issues we have in the future.

I had some major issues with my sanitary sewer line clogging and I called up Jake from Reith…read morePlumbing for an estimate to repair the line. He first came out to do a preliminary estimate and said I needed to schedule another visit to have his guy do some inspection with a sewer camera because the pipe was so far down under my driveway. (No charge for the first visit.) A week later he came out with Jeff from Bulldog Sewer Cleaning to diagnose my problem. Jake and Jeff worked really well together to diagnose the issue I was having with my plumbing. They didn't mind me hovering around to check on the progress and view the camera footage either. Jake and Jeff were at my house for 3 hours working hard to camera and clean out my lines from both the basement and driveway and extract the big rocks and gravel that were impeding the flow. I was more than happy to let them borrow my shop vac to clean out the shale and limestone pebbles. The 3 previous plumbing/rooter companies that I called out to diagnose and estimate the repair didn't figure out the root cause of the issue and instead said that I needed to have my driveway dug up and the ground excavated to replace the sanitary line 8' down. These estimates ranged from $6k-$13k and that's didn't include concrete to fix my driveway after the repair!! Wtf?! Jake was a cool guy and very honest and upfront with everything. Pricing was very reasonable for all the work they did to clean my pipes out to get them free-flowing once again. When it came time to pay up, I was surprised to see that everything was done on his phone and a copy of the invoice was emailed to me. I'm all about saving trees, so that was a nice plus! Jake and Jeff saved me thousands of dollars by diagnosing the root cause of the issue correctly and I cannot thank them enough! I won't hesitate to call Reith Plumbing for any future plumbing issues that I can't tackle on my own! Great small business with a great owner who cares about getting the job done right!

By mid-afternoon, Jim and his son arrived and got to work. Glad I called them as they found the p-trap was rotted, the hot water line had no shutoff valve, nor did the water line for the fridge ice maker. Jim explained what needed to be done, I agreed, and they worked quickly and quietly, keeping the area clean. An hour later, it's all done and my kitchen looks like they were here, except for my new faucet and sprayer, along with beautiful pipe/fitting work on the lines under the sink. The price felt right for the work they did. They have always been friendly and professional and it looks like his son is learning well as he was as nice as Jim. Far & away, THE VERY BEST home-related service our family has EVER received, period. A previous…read moreHVAC provider (Cleveland Furnace) installed a new air conditioning unit about 4-5 years ago. The same provider (still Cleveland Furnace) subsequently returned & installed an evaporator for the unit which was attached to our furnace. It developed a leak which in turn led to all the frion in the air conditioner leaking out. No frion, no cool air. Assured us at the end of the summer (2012) that we would be "at the very top of his priority list". May 2013 rolls around. Then mid-May and early June. After 2-3 weeks of multiple polite but increasingly urgent calls, texts, no response. Meanwhile, it's getting hotter & hotter & more & more humid. Finally, with elderly parents arriving & a party planned for the 2nd weekend of June we have no choice but to find another HVAC provider. This time I go on-line & look for reviews (sorry, yelp, didn't find them here) & picked Green Home Solutions... The tech, Ted, was prompt, polite & professional. Since I wasn't totally familiar with what appeared to be (& was) the problem, I had Ted speak with my husband on the phone. Between the 2 of them, the solution was determined & the repair was made. The fee for the repair seemed quite fair - although the cost for him to refill the frion, ~$800, hurt (new EPA regs & a steep hike in new formula). Mind you - this was NOT Green Home's fault (they didn't cause the leak, but fixed it) - but it does underscore WHY you need to use a reliable HVAC Company to begin with. Not only did we not hear back from them, we had to foot the bill for their shoddy work (no leak, no need to pay to refill frion, let alone the repair)! But wait! That's not the best part! Stay with me now: Ted ended up having to come back a second time because the repair ended up setting up a chain reaction which led to water leaking all over the basement (long story). He arrived that afternoon & ended up calling a second tech to help but they got the job done. Ted did not leave our home until 9:00 p.m. I now sit here cool as a cucumber on my couch. The party (& my parents) should be just fine next weekend. But I must say that I am simply BLOWN AWAY by Ted's tenacity & total determination to get the job done. No excuses, no run around, no delays. Amazing service, phenomenal work ethic & we didn't pay a single cent more. That, my friends, deserves 10 stars... But yelp will only let me give 'em 5!!
